  1. Patience. So true! I like the challenge of F2P, P2P just makes everything easier. And I don't like questing or exploring, I would only do it to not miss some items or areas which could be helpful. F2P has much content and I'm statisfied with the ammount of it. If you get bored in RS you should get the hang of multitasking. I watched TV or videos while getting 99 cook, 99 magic and soon 99 fish. And if I need some fun I do FM or FoG. ;) You have a point there, I view membership in many ways as being similar to "easy mode" found in other games. Getting high levels in members in so much quicker and easier. I'll stick to hard mode myself.
  2. Patience. [hide=] [/hide]Well said. =D>
  3. Locked on request.
  4. In general, i think P2p is much more mature, but there are of course some people are more mature than a great deal of members. This being runescape and all... In my experience, when members come into f2p worlds, I find that sometimes they may be breaking more rules than the f2p players. I have personally witnessed members come onto a f2p world for the sole reason of cursing and solicitation. I cannot say whether in members worlds you find that players are more mature - I can only base my view on what I see. That being said paying or having your parents pay a fee every month for Runescape membership does not by any means make one automatically mature. I believe you should judge on a person to person basis rather than lumping all members or non-members together and stating that their membership status indicates their maturity level. Not that you did this, but merely food for thought.
  5. Gotta hate sexist people Gotta hate people who post stupid comments at every picture. Please refrain from spamming.
  6. It is not as if people fresh off tutorial can use them, there are limits imposed. Players must have 12.5m total experience to use the forums.
  7. Fantastic - Never thought the day would come in which I was allowed to post in the Runescape Official Forums.
  8. Thanks. :) One problem I have found is that it will take an eternity to get to level 99 at this rate since I can only buy 100 plates to alch every 4 hours!
  9. I think many members would come to f2p worlds to show off (actually this is pretty common already) but if they could use their items I am sure many players would take advantage and utilize their benefits on free worlds for fun. Personally I would no longer be playing Runescape if that happened.
  10. Haha yes, that they were. :)
  11. I am locking this due to the fact that this thread has little to no discussion value.
  12. I have reached a long time goal today, more on that here: viewtopic.php?f=78&t=788151 Also I have updated my bank which was long overdue. Can be found in first post.
  13. Smithing History: Back in 2007 is when I first reached 70 smithing. I reached 70 by smelting steel bars, not the fastest method but at the time it was quite profitable. Stats from May 22nd, 2007: I did not smith again for over a year. Around September 2008 I decide to try to reach a goal I had wanted since I first began Runescape - 85 Smithing. I superheated adamant the entire way from level 70-85. Today I reached this goal: Stats as of today: \
  14. Here is a few (some quite old): Guess he does not understand the ranged skill? If you say so... Chikin Scrax went on to challenge me to fight to the death, we went to level 20 wilderness and I killed him and returned to Edgeville with his rune woodcutting axe.
  15. Hopefully if players need help with something they can easily gain knowledge using sites such as tip.it which contain plenty of information. Most things in Runescape are fairly simple once you understand them. I would say it is an easy game to pick up on overall.
  16. For some reason I have only received 2 randoms since the update. :( Both times I went with the lamp.
  17. There is many threads regarding this already in existence - both here in the suggestion forum and in the debate forum. Feel free to share your opinion about this matter in the already existing threads.
  18. Feel free to suggest that HERE. Regarding the music, very neat. I look forward to hearing them. :)
  19. I noticed you forgot the "E" in my user name on the support list. Just bringing it to your attention. ;)
  20. Doctor Jagex :XD: I also love how he tries to sound intelligent, and utterly fails. Perhaps Dr. Jagex will give him a band-aid?
  21. Have you ever acidentally hit the backspace button or your "back" mouse button while not centered on the Runescape window... In a dangerous place.... Fighting a strong monster???? GREAT UPDATE! No more accidentally leaving the game! Indeed I have accidentally hit the backspace button. However I was under the impression that this update would make a pop-up occur if you were switching between windows. I am glad to discover that this is not the case, therefore I agree that this was a good update. The party room update is still awful for those of us with bad connections. With the crowds that I imagine will always occupy the party rooms those with the best connections have a clear advantage. I for one will likely lag out upon setting foot in any decent drop party from here on out. :(
  22. Jagex told us how the pvp system works. Utilizing this knowledge to make it work in your favor is not abuse. Anyone can use these methods therefore it does not grant anyone an unfair advantage in the game.
