I like the new interface that pops up for the quest, although it's a rip from other MMO's, that's not really a bad thing. You're finally very aware of when a quest has been started or not.

A Second Bonus Week
I am, how are they any different? In both you gain(ed) lots of EXP in a short amount of time with it being a one-off(unless, of course, they make another weekend.) Perhaps because the weekend was deliberate, and a glitch wasn't? Or maybe that There's a difference between 2.7x XP, and 10,000x XP

Nature Staff + Law Staff are scams.
Seriously, ever since the creation of Ice Strykewyrms, I've actually had to purchase fire runes. I hadn't before that point... pretty much ever.

I liked the article. I hadn't realized penguins could write. I have very high hopes for batch 2 of Sailing... More floors would be fun although recently I find it a chore to logon at all anymore.

Items kept on death
It makes me wonder what an Onyx Ring (i) alchs for.... I always have this thought in my head that it alchs for around 2.3 - 2.7 million, as that was the price of an Onyx gem / ring when imbuing rings was introduced. That, and it also being untradeable, when seen alone in the items kept on death interface, it has a very high value for being untradeable, in contrast to barrows being worth like, what, 2k I think it was?, when damaged.

Items kept on death
I'm not really familiarized yet with all the forum goodies, so I am not sure how appropriate of a question this is for this forum. Anyways, I was wondering how which Items you keep on death is determined, be it an algorithm or something like that. An example being some items have the exact same game value, let's say you had 4 mystic robe tops, all different color, with the last one being the same color as the first. How does the game decide which to keep? Is it random or does it perhaps have to do with where it's in in your inventory or if it's worn or not. Etc etc I was also curious if there was a certain way the value of an item kept on death is determined, or if it's set by whatever Jagex sees as fit. Just on a side note, I find it interesting that as far as I know, an Onyx Ring (i) protects over EVERYTHING (Divine SS, Bandos, Godswords, Dragon armour etc.)

POLL: In your opinion, should Jagex forbid Price Manipulation/Merchanting Clans?
The problem is the Grand Exchange, not the merch clans. Players should be able to do whatever they please with their money. It's the G.E. that needs fixing

Primal Spear, when released, will be top weapon, simply for it's versatility involving attack styles, and it's amazing stab accuracy, which it seems the majority of the current bosses are weak to. That and poisoning it is effective against monsters and a few bosses. Until then I use Prom. Spear P++- Should Jagex make a rule that forbids price manipulation aka "Merchant clans"?

Stream works as planned, theres a video of a guy hitting 1100's on strykewyrms with the necklace- Should Jagex make a rule that forbids price manipulation aka "Merchant clans"?
Noone is stopping you from using your money on items or skills. If you HAVE money, why do you need more? and more importantly why play a game to make only more money? And why not do it in a way that don't affect others? I'm surprised of your comment. Why does ANYONE want to succeed and be well off? Not everyone is content with having just enough. And I see nothing wrong with that. It's just self-interest. If everyone was given the same with no motivation to get more, the game would be worse off overall. People who go monster hunt wouldn't bother anymore if they knew what they could purchase or receive was to be limited, thereby affecting everyone. As for the world hunger etc. post earlier, it was merely an example of what you are doing, which is asking a question about a problem EVERYONE wants fixed. The vast majority want world hunger to be gone, as well as peace amongst nations, similar to the vast majority wanting manipulation to end. The problem is implementing it. I wasn't comparing something as serious as real people suffering to a game, I was just relating them in an easier to understand, and sarcastic way.- Should Jagex make a rule that forbids price manipulation aka "Merchant clans"?
Guys, guys, let's end world hunger and have peace amongst all nations? Is this a good idea? OH, don't worry about HOW we're gonna do it, this is all just theoretical! I think there should be a rule for it, of course, but until we know any way of it coming into place, I see this thread being nothing more than what it already is, which is: "Yes, but how?"- = New Chaotic Items =
agreed, its the only reason im training the damned skill to begin with- = New Chaotic Items =
awww **** me if it degrades stats as it degrades in general- = New Chaotic Items =
I wonder how great or minute the impact of these new weapons and shields will have on the current high level gear found in RuneScape. I personally believe that in general, the new gear takes a fair bit of time, so weapons may not drop too drastically, although if the Chaotic Maul ends up being a badass of a weapon, I could see the price of AGS being hit the hardest. Although the Elysian and Divine spirit shields are still better shields, I see them also dropping in price because of the Chaotic Kiteshield. And by dropping in price I mean, perhaps, possibly, a small chance, maybe, of them finally being worth G.E. price. The Arcane and Spectral are already exchanged fairly freely through the G.E. already, and I do see them dropping somewhat due to the Eagle-Eye ad Farseer Shields... Dragonfire shield; really the only thing it had going for it was having the Top STATS when fully charged, as many people already have access to Super Antifires... I could see it falling back to Mid-High 20 millions. It's still much easier to attain than the new shields, what with being purchasable, so it will never lose it's usability.- = New Chaotic Items =
Ah, they said nothing of the maul, and being that there is only three weapons, you'd think they'd have time to mention the third, unless it was different. So I imagine it is. or, more likely, he didnt ask, so they didnt tell. and yet at the same time the speed of the in dungeon mauls are faster than the rs mauls- = New Chaotic Items =

If you were to actually read it, you would know he wasn't baming RuneScape, he was merely sharing a story. But it's not surprising internet tough guys like yourself try to look cool in front of everyone by using one liners from internet meme sites to support your side. Instead you've just made yourself to look like an immature loser. Let me direct you to a website better suited for you. http://services.rune...forum/[Please Use QuickFind Code]- = New Chaotic Items =
Oh come on, you don't want those high end items too easy to get. I would say just mess around with the level requirements a bit and everything is fine. I thought the reduction is fair enough for the items to look reasonably enough to obtain. BUt it still means experience in the skill is useless: and using rewards from quests for experience is simply a waste! Disagree. Use bonus experience from quests to raise your level, which in turn allows you to gain experience at an accelerated rate (up to a point). Something tells me the second update will bring more than just new rewards... probably more floors past 35. For a skill that goes to level 120, I think the floors should exceed a level 50 - 60 requirement.- (Not another) Dungeoneering question!
yes, cba to find it myself but i believe it is stickied in the RSOF recent updates forum.... under FAQ i think.. there will be another update with more rewards, possible token price tweaks, and maybe more stuff.- Gluttonous Behemoth
you sacrifice 1 if you simply drop some food, make the stone and pick up 3 more pieces of food. or you can just keep letting it eat to almost full HP over and over. and you're welcome- Gluttonous Behemoth
create a gatestone using 1 earth, air, cosmic, and law rune.. where you stand in front of the food, drop the gatestone, if you die, you can teleport back in front of the food before he can eat it. - Dungeoneering Weapon Average Damage
