The problem is that those willing to defend their crashing seem to skip most of the posts which give very good criticism to the crashing yet pick up and start arguments on the posts which have more holes in them. I more or less stopped arguing, because it's pointless. The bottom line is that people crash because they think they're more deserving of a spot then someone else is, and that comes down to having an entitlement complex based on stats/equipment. All the rationalizing in the world isn't going to change that fact. Anyway, I honestly wish Jagex would change the way drop mechanics work to something like this. 1.) In single-combat, the person to get the last hit should get the drop. 2.) In multi-combat, the person to get the first non-zero hit should get the drop unless they leave the monster's attack range, unless they die, or unless they've gone ten or so seconds without attacking the NPC, in which instances the drop would go to the person who was the second to land a non-zero hit. 3.) In PVP, the person who does the most damage to a player gets the drop. Pretty sure that'd solve most issues regarding crashing, but that'd probably be too hard to work out. You make the assumption we all think we deserve the spot we crash. I may not deserve the spot that I crash, but so long as I'm getting the loot, it doesn't matter if I deserve it or not. In response to your three reasonings to make everything more fair 1) No real disagreement here, although I imagine if I thought it out, there would be some flaws if drops worked that way 2) That will completely turn people off from going anywhere at all, tell me how fair it would be for someone to just walk into a boss area, get a lucky first hit, occasionally thwack an attack on the monster in between hiding in a safespot or some other thing, and recieve the drop? If you're going for consistency, it should be whoever has dealt the most damage, which not only makes the most sense, but is also how it currently works. 3) Again, this is already how it currently works, although I think the damage dealt to a player is reset if they logout.

I pretty much only do DKS in terms of monsterhunting, and I can't merch for s***, so essentially my income on RuneScape is solely from powerslaying and soloing DKS. I hop two - three times before I consider crashing. Why? Everytime you logout with a familiar summoned, it's timer goes down by a minute. If that wasn't the case, I wouldn't mind hopping more. But when my trip overall is cut short or jeopardized because I feel bad for that level 117 in his torag's and dhide, I start to reconsider my sympathy for him. After stats and gear, Luck is the most deciding factor of crashing. I have 99 Herblore, the best gear in game (Save for divine and CR/CLS), arcane stream, onyx(i) etc. etc., Max combat stats (except 94 range, but lol, f*** it), and I can still be crashed by a level 130 with less than ideal setup on occasion. That's when it's disheartening. That's why I don't crash players with near levels to me and near setup to me, because at that point, who gets the kill comes down to sheer luck.

I put mine to private because people would monitor what I was doing like hawks and try to locate me... I remember saying I got a zerker drop in my clanchat, and 30 minutes later 3 people were down there with no gear and an inv full of food on, harassing me. Sucks sometimes

I was thinking more likely every 30 levels, to coincide with 120
-
I think they will give 1 - 2 more binds for batch 2, I think they limited it so much for batch 1 in hopes of making it harder to level to 120 for now, so that people will actually be able to do it better and more incentive to go for batch 2

Sorry I can't findthe edit button lol, I meant partyhats not people I am kind of high on vicodin because I [bleep]ed up my back rec3ently
-
Does the street price for Partyhats follow the GE price in terms of succession? Like is people worth less then yellow less than green etc. on street as well?

Would you say with the recent update it's become easier or harder to purchase a divine? Like has their value gone up, or gone down? Naturally this is assuming nothing of the new TT update coming.
-
What you are suggesting is price manipulation of items for the sole purpose of gain at the expense of others... Something most that post in here are not interested in doing. Either that or you're suggesting something similar, which would just lead to Jagex making them unsellable like with weeds.
-
Do you remember the last time jagex changed the stats of an already existing item? umm...yeah... rather the new chaotic weapons will make the cls look even worse since rapier will be the only 6 speed weapon(unless jagex does something semi-crazy like 7 speed chaotic dagger). they made barrelchest anchor slower Yes, but even that doesn't fit into my example, and considering they did it just days after the update is a bad example. Changing the stats of chaotic weapons 6-8 months after the release would make for much worse than the climbing boots riots. Had hoped you would have noticrf the blantant sense of sarcasm I was implying when saying that. Ofc they wouldn't change it.

Will lol if Batch two completely changes all the Chaotic's stats and makes CLS best or some [cabbage].

dungeoneering bosses now teleblocked?
Logdotzip replied to Squisher_33's topic in General Discussion
I can tele out just fine -
I remember when RS2 Tut island came out, I made a new account in hopes of drop trading the (gasp shock horror) to my actual account that I made before Tut island was even around. I spent like 6 hours getting like 100 cooked bread and shrimp, 5k bronze arrows, and 10k of each rune, only to find that none of it transfers when you leave the island

I am taking all CC and using it for anything I make in the future, but beyond anything this thread was simply requested by some friends of mine so that I had a place to dump all the images I made. I have downloaded Gimp and I am trying to learn it, and I am not getting Photoshop. I am not a photo editor in any way, these are in truth just snapshots of moving video that I edit, but some people like me to just grab pics for them. Most of these aren't filters and nearly every image on here is accompanied by 6 or 7 additional layers, each with different effects and opacities put on them But yeah I am looking over the CC, thank you everyone. Also, image macros or whatever it may be are extremely ineffective at trying to be funny or clever, it just basically means you can't think of your own input to give. Yes, that is you Skully. Way to contribute to nothing.

Jagex CEO Mark Gerhard calls Free Realms 'insipid'
Logdotzip replied to Den's topic in General Discussion
Since when has jagex ever catered to the PKing community? I'm sorry, but assuming this isn't sarcasm, I lol'd really f****ing hard -
233k for the final upgrade, for 1% boost? No thanks, I'll get an entire chaotic item + change

Perhaps if you have the Dung level (obviously), Slayer Masters assign these new dragons?
-
I don't think the price of prayer and bones in general will be affected too much, I mean the new dragons are availible only to high level dungeoneerers, and only efficient to high levelled players. That being said, I imagine frost bones will stabilize around 13 - 15k and regular d bones as of current prices will drop a few hundred, because even the new regular dragons they added are far out of the way, and people who can bank with yaks have better money making methods anyways.
