  1. These worth anything? Rather easy to get on the GE
  2. So, for NPC's that drop both 3's and 4's IE metals, do they all have the same drop rate per tier? Like would an iron have the same chance to drop a 4 as a steel? I doubt anyone knows for sure but I am was curious over this. Makes me wonder... If hypothetically the chance of any clue at all from irons and steels was 1 in 150. But with irons you have a 1:100 for the 4, and a 1:50 for the 3. And with steels you have 1:70 for the 4, and a one 1:80 for the 3. Do you guys think that's how it works?
  3. I did a trip to steels, got 4 level 3 clues, none 4 yet. Upsetting, left all the 3's on the ground lol
  4. With this update I've been splitting my tasks into 4 bits for levels 3's, meaning if I get a clue in the first 1/4th of the task, I'll finish the first 1/4th then bank, meaning at most I'll only do 4 level 3's per task. Whether or not I stick with that is yet to be determined. For level 4's I'll bank immediately.
  5. was bored, nothing special just putting up for a friend to see
  6. Smells like RSOF in here
  7. You would be wearing a Slayer Helm on task anyways, not a Battle Hood But we've strayed quite far off topic. Any clue as to if there's a new currency for Phats / SS's? Or is it still belonging to the unstable disks and pumps.
  8. Seems the biggest argument those against crashing when needed keep bringing up is "Until you've tried all 100+ servers looking for an empty world then you're in the wrong" To that, I lol. I half expect one of you to say "Well maybe one world got free since you checked it last, better start the World Hopping over again"
  9. Not so much: "If I want to be efficient, then I crash." but more: "It is now, in this situation, efficient to crash. I want to be efficient. Therefore I crash.". I'm glad you realize it's subjective. Not to make anyone angry, but sometimes it's annoying to hear about 'logical preferences'. It's not necessarily to efficient to crash. It would be much more efficient to just find an empty world. But more often than not, at most bosses, that's just not an available option. So I fail to see the logic in that. People, the people in this thread anyways, don't crash to be d***s, so it seems. They do it because it's the only readily available option at the time, and no one wants their familiar to lose out on it's timer, or sit around for xDScimPr0x to finish his Bandos solo in a D'hide top and Rune platelegs. I myself hop two or three times before I crash, because my trip won't suffer because I decide to let someone worse than me at something get drops I could be getting, regardless of who deserves them more. New stuff in bold. I was just correcting/improving sseli's argument, which had crashing as an example. Nitpicker :). Hardly nitpicking. You effectively change your entire statement by adding that simple "correction".

  11. I don't see a point in spectral ss. I find dfs to even be more useful @ arma. Once you got good mage defence to at least 120+ than another 20+ shouldn't really kill you. I like the prayer bonus. i like the 0 range attack bonus (rather then -5) I like the purple. Eh but in all seriousness... my friend who remember his old pass from ages ago has like 2 partyhat sets and offered to sell me one of them. Which would I need to trade it simply for a divine?
  12. I pretty much exclusively use Steel Titan on any task that's multi-combat, elsewise I use a yak to bank everything or for bosses. I honestly don't think I have used a single unicorn since Soulsplit came out. I don't even fill my yak when I use it for slayer, it's literally there for storing and banking loot. Food is pointless on every slayer task, and for DKS and TDS I brew anyways lol.
  13. The problem is that those willing to defend their crashing seem to skip most of the posts which give very good criticism to the crashing yet pick up and start arguments on the posts which have more holes in them. I more or less stopped arguing, because it's pointless. The bottom line is that people crash because they think they're more deserving of a spot then someone else is, and that comes down to having an entitlement complex based on stats/equipment. All the rationalizing in the world isn't going to change that fact. Anyway, I honestly wish Jagex would change the way drop mechanics work to something like this. 1.) In single-combat, the person to get the last hit should get the drop. 2.) In multi-combat, the person to get the first non-zero hit should get the drop unless they leave the monster's attack range, unless they die, or unless they've gone ten or so seconds without attacking the NPC, in which instances the drop would go to the person who was the second to land a non-zero hit. 3.) In PVP, the person who does the most damage to a player gets the drop. Pretty sure that'd solve most issues regarding crashing, but that'd probably be too hard to work out. You make the assumption we all think we deserve the spot we crash. I may not deserve the spot that I crash, but so long as I'm getting the loot, it doesn't matter if I deserve it or not. In response to your three reasonings to make everything more fair 1) No real disagreement here, although I imagine if I thought it out, there would be some flaws if drops worked that way 2) That will completely turn people off from going anywhere at all, tell me how fair it would be for someone to just walk into a boss area, get a lucky first hit, occasionally thwack an attack on the monster in between hiding in a safespot or some other thing, and recieve the drop? If you're going for consistency, it should be whoever has dealt the most damage, which not only makes the most sense, but is also how it currently works. 3) Again, this is already how it currently works, although I think the damage dealt to a player is reset if they logout.
  14. I pretty much only do DKS in terms of monsterhunting, and I can't merch for s***, so essentially my income on RuneScape is solely from powerslaying and soloing DKS. I hop two - three times before I consider crashing. Why? Everytime you logout with a familiar summoned, it's timer goes down by a minute. If that wasn't the case, I wouldn't mind hopping more. But when my trip overall is cut short or jeopardized because I feel bad for that level 117 in his torag's and dhide, I start to reconsider my sympathy for him. After stats and gear, Luck is the most deciding factor of crashing. I have 99 Herblore, the best gear in game (Save for divine and CR/CLS), arcane stream, onyx(i) etc. etc., Max combat stats (except 94 range, but lol, f*** it), and I can still be crashed by a level 130 with less than ideal setup on occasion. That's when it's disheartening. That's why I don't crash players with near levels to me and near setup to me, because at that point, who gets the kill comes down to sheer luck.
  15. I put mine to private because people would monitor what I was doing like hawks and try to locate me... I remember saying I got a zerker drop in my clanchat, and 30 minutes later 3 people were down there with no gear and an inv full of food on, harassing me. Sucks sometimes
  16. Recent QandA was saying it's warped and Occult
  17. The site has moved to .net .org was shut down because the bots used client injection, the .net ones don't KBot is shut down however
  18. welcome to tipit etc etc etc adjust the size of the window you are playing rs in, to adjust the reizeable game window
  19. I was thinking more likely every 30 levels, to coincide with 120
  20. I think they will give 1 - 2 more binds for batch 2, I think they limited it so much for batch 1 in hopes of making it harder to level to 120 for now, so that people will actually be able to do it better and more incentive to go for batch 2
  21. Sorry I can't findthe edit button lol, I meant partyhats not people I am kind of high on vicodin because I [bleep]ed up my back rec3ently
  22. Does the street price for Partyhats follow the GE price in terms of succession? Like is people worth less then yellow less than green etc. on street as well?
  23. Yeah, I love boobs Also I just want my Primal Spear, or maybe even a Primal 2H now that my ring is all beefed up... But I want my chaotic spear
