This happened to my friend... Her only goals were a Divine SS and a Chaotic Longsword, and now she has both.... Now she doesn't know what to do on RuneScape and may quit. I have the same goals essentially, and I am getting quite close to them

What would be the best rare to get with 3 uncut onyx and 3 rings, or, if I HAVE to, 6 rings?

I am concerned about my Onyx, I have 3 Uncut, and 2 Rings, and an imbued ring I can unimbue. What ought I trade these for? My confidence in the stability of crowns seems to be waning as well.

It was illogical, unfair to those without boots piled up, brought a lot of money in the game which due to other peoples panic buying will cause inflation. Yet, all of this could have easily been avoided simply by removing the price cap on Boots in the ge, yet the developers behind this update fail to understand the sheer stupidity of this update, and despite MANY people giving just reasoning and present valid points, they still hold their ground with statistics that seem highly unlikely and haven't been able to yet provide anything even close to a logical reason to raising the alch value and price of these boots to the amount they did. They feel this update was good and logical, when it wasn't even close to either. Do you honestly believe that Jagex doesn't put any consideration into updates like this? Yes, they knew how many players would make instant cash from the boots. Yes, they knew that it could unbalance the game. Know what? They made the change anyway. They did this after considering all aspects of it. I can understand/respect that you disagree with the rationale. Ah well, that's bound to happen. After all, we've all got our own opinions. Shouldn't they at least provide a good, solid reason as to why the rock climbing boots change is a 'better' solution compared to removing price cap on the old boots? It's this kind of explanation "We knew how many players would make instant cash from the boots. Yes, We knew that it could unbalance the game. We did this after considering all aspects of it." that I detest the most, because it barely clears the doubt of any player. No one is asking for an account of every content developers' train of thought for every single update, and I'd have thought that answering to this controversial update was the minimal they could do. Either show us the light on that 'all aspects' you talk about, or just apologise for the overlook. <_< You honestly need a reason why removing the price cap is a stupid idea? Well ok. Hmm, let's see, could it possibly be because you could buy them from the sherpa and then turn around and sell them on the G.E. for way more if the price were allowed to rise above the cap allowing for a brand new level of convenience in RWT? No that couldn't possibly be it right, because I mean no one would ever think of that. Look at that, more proof Jagex is smarter than the average player. Danq, your post is exactly how I feel about things. Jagex has made a game that offers more that ANY other game out there. There are hours upon hours of playable content with new content being added every couple weeks. While I think some of Jagex's decisions have been questionable the fact remains that despite complaints they have one of the largest player and fanbases ever. They built a great game, and though every single update may not be great, they continue releasing enjoyable content. The problem to me lies in the immaturity of the players in honestly believing that they know better. Players don't seem to realize that they have no idea what future releases might have impacted upon their decisions in the way they do things, or of the possible ramifications of doing them differently. It's just proved by people suggesting removing the price cap on an item you can buy for 12 gp from an NPC. You want to talk about arrogance and idiocy, well there it is. didn't bother to read past the tenzing issue, selling back to GE for profit are you [bleep]ing KIDDING me? tenzing sells, or used to, havnt been back since the downdate, 30 climbing boots every 24 hours... GASP LOOPHOLE FOR RWT. SO MUCH RWT WITH 30 WHOLE BOOTS Also, need I remind you of Buying 310 raw bird meat per day from Oo'glog? Turning around and selling them for hefty GE profit? OMFG RWT No. This update just made no sense, and I what respect I had left for them before this change is dwindling quite fast.

I think the only way to get one is to get into the rares market, Muj. :sad: Or be a pker with lotta subs and exploit your fans for divines @ trade price I could name a few names but I imagine you could figure it out as well..

I don't want to think myself so high and mighty to assume that all of you have been following my antics and the S**t-storm that followed because of it, but I was finally unbanned from the forums thanks to a friend who had a Jmod look into the legitimacy of my forum ban (which yes, I turned out to be forum banned for unjust reasons), and as such I was able to make a lengthy post on the RSOF regarding this update and the repercussions it had and the things I helped cause. It's pointless to wait around for a real, unshopped picture, because even if a legitimate one appears with a high volume of boots in it, people will scream "shopped" anyways.

How are onyx looking in terms of holding their value? I have 3 uncut gems and 3 rings, and I am still aways from affording a divine, I want to see if they appear to be holding their own still.

To be perfectly honest I am not loving it. I don't get a moment's rest, even with my private to friends I get constant PMS, messageseverywhere, following me in game, and I feel like my account may be in danger now. I just wanted to scape and I had an opinion and it blew up lol

Hopefully they learn from this and don't make such a ridiculous mistake again, but this is Jagex, so there will be more horrendous errors... Just hopefully they admit to their mistakes and ackno-- ah who am I kidding..

I made a post on the forum expressing my discontent with the update, broke no rules in doing such, and then uploaded a youtube video, broke no youtube rules, but apparently broke a lot of runescape rules. too bad that shouldnt matter, considering it was on youtube, and not runescape's website. they then forum banned me without just cause, and deleted any posts i made within the last 24 hours i also got a pm from a jmod in game (right as i was logging out, didnt catch the name) saying something along the lines of "what you said in that video is untrue, and i would advise against you not making another video, or action can be taken". so of course, i made a second video lol. now going in mod mark or mod mmg's cc and saying my name gets you kicked, and mentioning my name on RSOF gets you forum banned (someone got a one year ban for saying my name)... my name is spammed everywhere on riot worlds, calling me savior, martyr, legend, hero, president, god (lol'd at them all), and you can usually find at least one thread about me in the recent updates forum, the rants forum, or the high level forum. all because jagex can't be honest with us... maybe if the majority of us stopped let them stomp all over us, this wouldnt happen.

Sucks because they forum banned both my accounts when I didn't even break a rule, they did it on the grounds of the video I posted, which wasn't even refereced to once in my thread. I wasn't aware they could ban you for expressing criticism on an entirely separate website. And now they have people raging at them hardcore. I feel special lol

I feel bad, they're spamming my name everywhere like I am some legend of RuneScape. Chanting it at the riot worlds, every other thread in Recent Update and Rants is about me, and mentioning my name in a Mod's CC gets you kicked. All I did was voice my opinion, I wish more people did too...

Intentional stupid mistakes would be Alching 2 Masks sets, 4 Santa hats, and alching full Bandos + BGS in an attempt to quit (Didn't work) Letting a friend know my password and losing a White Partyhat, Pumpkin, Easter Egg, Disk, 2 Santa hats, and a Half Wine because of it (Long time ago) Unintentional mistakes would be Accidentally selling a Sara Sword to a general store in an attempt to price check it Dropping a 20m Cash pile from alching Zuriel Hoods to see how much a Dragon 2hander alchs for, an then getting randomed right after I drop the cash lololo

Vls is still the best weapon in game(mostly beacuse of special), so no, fastest isn't always the best. Also vesta spear is best for corp, which is long speed aswell. Well obviously certain weapons have a niche (for corp or fiends, etc), but generally speaking, fastest typically is best, which is unfortunate. CLS is missing the special attack, which I'm sure is more than likely the bigger part of why a VLS is 15m or whatever it is.

It's sad because I had been waiting for the day where Jagex actually made some weapons where the fastest wasn't the best choice (as usual). Now I await chaotic spear or warped gear ;)

Is there some list somewhere showing all the street / crown / etc. prices of items, or do you have to kind of just know them? I always feel so out of the loop.
