  1. I'm up for this, sounds like fun.
  2. Is Uno on there :P ?
  3. If I could do it, you can too. Alright, just for you though  I'd rather choose a type of annoying story rather than an individual one. I'd have to say when you get those little kids who scream/sing/yell into their mic for an entire game. Either that or those people who won't mute their mic when having a personal conversation in the room. "Did you pick up the groceries? No, we didn't need any bananas. No, I'll fix the tire on the wheel barrow tomorrow. But Jimmy doesn't get out of jail until Thursday. We can get some more ice cream bars before then. No. Ok. Yeah, I'll do that tomorrow." Etc. (Props to whoever knows where that's from). Why can't they just mute their mic?
  4. Ugh, don't make me choose just 1. There are so many morons on XBL, picking a single moron story is near impossible.
  5. I'm sure shooting down a tree will someday come in handy. Like if some guy is with bad aim is chasing you and you have no ammo, knife down the tree and maybe he'll trip or something.

Always fun to see people who don't know how to use the url tags. [url=http://www.massivepwnage.com]for future reference[/url] ANd wow, that comic is terrible. Cheetoes in ice cream as a punchline? :| Sorry 'bout that, normally I'm pretty good with URL tags, but I was half asleep posting that.

CAD has always seemed boring to me. I think it's because they draw every joke out to the point where it's not funny. I don't read too many web comics. I did stumble across one I found really horrible: Here (Thanks Lenin for fixing) It's a truly bad web comic IMO, but the writers seem to think it's hilarious.
  8. Games that have very little skill gap in multiplayer. This can either be done because of a amazingly easy aiming system, bad design choices, or other flaws that can really kill off any sort of advantage that experienced players may gain over new players.
  9. If it had been a stand-alone game, I probably would've liked it better. But it was just such a letdown compared to the rest of the series. What was the stupid-tupid thing for?
  10. +1 How? Please, elaborate. Vehicles have had their skill level nerfed, plus they have unlimited ammo which overpowers them. If you play as anything besides demolitions you will be screwed over by tanks and/or helicopters. Snipers can't seem to hit crap, even on something standing still. Compared to the level of skill and depth in both vehicular and foot combat in BF2 and BF2142 (or even BF1942), this game is pretty easy to play. If you think that this game has any sort of "extreme learning curve" you probably haven't played earlier games in the series that much. Gameplay (at least for the demo) is extremely slow paced, even worse than Vegas 1. You can't even talk to your entire team, just your 3 or 4 member squad. You can't even choose your squad! This isn't even BF anymore, it's feels like a watered down and dumbed down version of BF2. Not to mention the precision mortar strikes that can be called down anywhere on the battlefield. Gold rush is also very boring compared to Conquest and Titan modes. What is everyone's deal with destructible environments? Sure, it's fun for about 5 minutes, but when is chopping down trees with a knife ever going to affect game play besides the "OMG d000d" factor (similar to the GoW chainsaw. It was cool for a bit, but when you have a shotgun that's more effective, what's the point?). My two biggest gripes with the game are A) it's slow-paced and dumbed down compared to the other games in the series, and B) EA is making you pay to get new guns over time. They did this exact same thing with Pro Street, you'd people buying top-of-line cars and just destroying people who didn't spend money on that kind of stuff.
  11. Don't forget that they're gonna add more "Pay-to-play" guns. That is one reason I'm never gonna buy this game.
  12. It's a matter of taste, I like the "urban" feel of CS/CSS. It also depends on whether you prefer an steep or not-so-steep learning curve. COD4 is mostly mental as shooting is very easy in that game due to low health and heavy auto-aim. It's all about out-smarting your opponents. CS on the other hand has a difficult aiming system to master, and so you'll get shat on until you manage to get your shot down.
  13. Worst game in the BF series so far IMO.
  14. Yahtzee's reviews are really the only reviews I still trust these days. Gamespot and IGN really just see big-name titles such as Halo 3 and Brawl, it automatically gets high marks. Yahtzee on the other hand just thinks everything is [cabbage] until proven to be not [cabbage]. The only reviews of his that I won't trust are the RPG reviews.
  15. The 2nd one is the Behemoth at Wonderland right? I was about to mention that as my 2nd favourite roller-coaster of all time. It kinda sucks that most of my friends are scared crap-less of coasters, or I would've ridden that a lot more. Any way, my number one favourite roller coaster is the Aerosmith Rock 'n Roller Coaster (that's what I call it, not sure if it's right) in Disneyland, Florida. It's to unbelievably fast. Here's a re-creation of it: If that didn't work here's the link
  16. A portable mini-fridge for his car for when he goes on road trips/out-of-town hockey tournaments.
  17. Watching MLG San Diego and getting really pissed that San Diego is 3 hours behind. I don't wanna stay up 'til the wee hours of the mourning to watch, but it's too intense to turn off
  18. Over the summer I'm getting a job for a few weeks. I'll probably end up making somewhere between 500-600 dollars. I might be able to squeeze a little more cash as it's my birthday soon, but the max budget would be around 700-800 dollars AT THE MOST. What I'm aiming for is a computer that I can use mainly for gaming (nothing insane like Crysis on high settings, mainly Source games. Bioshock on low settings might be in there somewhere), with semi-good longevity. I need to start from scratch, so this includes a mouse, keyboard, monitor, case, etc. Any suggestions?

    Okami?
  20. Bleh, I like the old default skin better than this. Really sucks that so much time and effort that were put into some posts were lost. Blogscape probably suffered the biggest hit from this. Edit- Noooooooo! The 1000 post count I had has now been knocked down to 837 :(
  21. Hmmm, my presents were pretty awesome this year, so the most useless....probably chocolate
  22. Oooh, having an account that can dk is awesome. BURN!
  23. See, if you didn't DK for a week like you told me you couldn't, you wouldn't have that 'dry trip' problem :XD:
  24. Counter Strike: Source, Psychonauts, playing through HL2 a bit again, GHIII, Medal of Honour Heroes 2. I also recently purchased S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Peggle, and Garry's Mod, so I'm having a lot of fun with those. Now the only think I need for Christmas is a new graphics card and another 2GB of RAM
