    Homework

I do every bit of homework I get assigned. It's something for me to do, and I need that badly.
  2. 1. I'm English, living in the United States. 2. Summer is my least favorite season. 3. I lie a lot, for no reason. Not big lies, I just decide to say something other than the truth when people ask me useless questions. 4. I hate small talk. 5. I'm an atheist, and I'm going to a christian college.
  3. People really do not like your definition of upper middle class Bari :P Out of curiosity, where did you get that from? Is it your own interpretation, or did you find it in a sociology text or something?
  4. I was going to say upper middle class, but we definitely do not fit into Barihawk's definition of it. We don't really have financial trouble, but we also do not try to look like we are upper class. The cars we own are a 1988 Toyota corolla, and a 1994 camry station wagon; not BMWs.. I live in a fairly affluent city though, and I would classify almost everyone here as upper middle class.

    Dexter

Hah, I did the same thing. Online movie sites are both great, and annoying :P
  6. It will be massive. Very, very massive. Nebraskans are pretty nuts. Moving anywhere inside the continental states won't be a very big culture shock. Maybe a little bit at first, but they still do everything the same almost everywhere. I moved from LA to Michigan, I don't remember thinking much was difference except that they call soda pop here (which is wrong, of course).
  7. Michigan, United States Unemployment and fat people galore
  8. I found all these books by [bleep] Francis downstairs the other day, I'm going through all of them now. They aren't a very hard read, but they are very entertaining. They are all mysteries/thrillers to do with horse raising, set in England in the 60s.
  9. Sometimes I wish I lived a thousand years ago, it just feels like the way we live now isn't right. Then I remember that I probably would have had an awful life and died at the age of 20 then. But still.
  10. I'm not sure about now, but a few months ago half the people posting their desktops had that as their background.
  11. My school's librarian. I go into the library a lot to work or read, and the librarian doesn't enforce the quiet rule at all. Instead he makes friends and talks with the students, and lets them be extremely loud and annoying.
  12. I've sprained my little finger. Manly, right?
  13. Either you're fishing for compliments, or you use a different scoring system than here. And since I know the latter not to be true, stop fishing for compliments. You know full well that a 32 composite score is in the 98th percentile. I've only heard back from one place I applied, a small college in Minnesota called Gustavus Adolphus. I got in there, and they offered me a fair amount of money too. It isn't my first choice though, there are three other schools I have yet to hear back from, and I really don't know where I want to go. It's interesting how tip.it's reported test scores, just like its reported IQ, is in the 98th percentile of the population. Hmm
  14. I like In the Groove the best, I always do much better on that than DDR. I got kind of good at it last year, my friend taught a "class" in it, and it gave fitness credit. You can laugh, but when you get onto the hard songs, one after another, it is a workout.
  15. Do you think video games affect peoples opinion on war? Maybe they affect 13 year olds, some video games glorify war. But I don't think they affect the opinions of anyone over 18, which is what matters. If your country was attacked, would it make you join the army? No, I would not. Do you think there will be a World War 3 in your lifetime? Maybe, it is impossible to predict. What do you think you could do to prevent war? Nothing can prevent war, it's one of the ways humans interact. And it's good for keeping down population growth. What do you think is the major cause of wars? The desire for peace.
  16. Someone always starts a fight at a birthday party, too much tequila I would assume. While it may not be the anniversary of his discoveries, it's still a remarkable date. He was a very important person to modern science.
  17. I read in our local newspaper that this winter is the third snowiest on record (town was founded in 1860 I think), and the 6th coldest. It was a good winter. It's supposed to warm up over the weekend though, so this foot of snow that's been on the ground for a month may finally melt.
  18. How is that a paradox?

    Today...

Hah, I remember last year in my western civ. class I knew the answers to a bunch of questions from playing Rome:total war. Today I get to sleep in, as my first class isn't until 9:30. Second semester senior year is nice
  20. I'm the least fashionable guy you could find. I own about five t-shirts, a few pairs of pants, and I wear the same two sweatshirts everyday almost. Any time I've tried to get newer, nice looking clothes they just look weird on me.
  21. I'd agree with that, around that book is when I started disliking his character a lot. Currently I'm reading some low quality action book. It may be written badly, but it's a fun read. It's by a man named Clive Cussler.
  22. I did not realize people still used the term 'freedom fries'..
  23. That's from something awful.
  24. Well you could click the edit button.
