Best build for a RANGER! need help
Do Dragon slayer at early a level as possible... Your character will likely become range/mage or defences based over time. meaning strength levels do not account as combat. Get 70 ish range, 44 pray if you feel its worth it and 40 defence.

Do Iron Bolts sell?
Bone bolts are just as good as iron bolts, and the bow is better than that of a normal crossbow... So therefore, i'd assume they probably dont sell too great. Bone bolts are about 2gp ea, where as iron are probably alot higher. Try making mith bolts if you can, or cannon ball. Oh, and iron knifes sell - try them instead of bolts.

Easiest way to optain junk other than buying?
You mean buy items above market price off other players who are using junk as a part-sale? My advise is maple longs (U). Cheap to buy, and sell for 144gp ea market price. Can easily to about 1.2k an hour, making nearly 170k an hour in junk. Or, try attack potions/ low level potions.

How to make a tank/ranger?
Wrong forum Try Playerkilling/Staking help and advise However, we need details... For example; How will you make money? (we need to know how much you're willing to spend) What combat/crater do you want to enter? (low, med, high) My suggestion is start off by getting 40 range/defence and working from there on.

I believe, if possible, it has to be all four of the same type. I.e. a full set.

RuneScape isn't ruined...
[hide=] [/hide] This is a forum for rants about the game, not Arrow's thread just below this... If you wanted to post this thread, put it in RSOF under 'Compliments'... 100% agree with this post, and its exactly how i look at the new Runescape. A couple of Jagex lovers are likely to 'flame' you for saying what you think, thats the points of a rants forum, right?

Memebership Cost, Should We Recieve Better CS?
Well compareed to our real-life situation and the variance in severity, i'd say we're doing alright in Runescape.

Sandwitch lady sucks!!!!
There have been many rants about randoms, particularly in locations like Metals... No need for another. Although i do agree, no one macro's at Metals anyway... So there is little need.

No PK? No Staking? No market? No drop trades?
This is such a typical, childish response i'd expect from most RSOF users, but not a Tifer... [/hide] Because you said so? Hmm, how compelling, but worthless, unfortunately for you. Sure, let's just do things that we hate doing, that makes a lot of sense. For masochists, anyway. Are you a masochist gin and tonic, eh? Pleasure from pain, maybe? But then it isn't really pain anymore if it doesn't hurt. Haha, I realize that's not your point but you make no argument apart from that random judgement, so we've got nothing to discuss except your questionable habits, you narb! Gold farmers are surprisingly trustworthy actually. Not that I'd know first hand, but that's what I heard. If they try to steal the account, most of the time the person has recoveries which makes it pointless. I bet they make lots more money from returning customers, who pay hundreds to get their characters grinded up. Im sorry highlander, you claim i dont have an argument? The 'dont like dont play' reponse has probably less debatability than whether or not the sky is blue... You think you're clever with snide comments, and, lots, of, commas.. But the thing is, you sound like that little kid from Malcom in the middle. Im not going to start a flame war, but lets face it, you're an arse...

Where is the feeling?!
I have alot of up/down phases. They're mostly to do with me getting bored of samey tasks (Woodcutting etc) and having to use a laptop for most of what i do (bs touch pad)... I normally go long periods of time before playing again, or cancelling my membership and then returning... I think in around 2-3 months, i probably wont play at all... Unless i get 50m clue drop :D But i agree with you... The novelty has worn off. I used to stake for my money, and got cleaned just before the update... Which bites as i intended to return with my remaining 2m. Now that 2m has just dossed about on my account with nothing to do.

Memebership Cost, Should We Recieve Better CS?
This thread made me think about our current real-life Social Services... We are facing increases in the cost of living, while the police are allowed 3 hours-3days to respond to our emergency calls.

RWT with crackers?
This is possible, however i could only see someone paying the price of a Purple P Hat (in real money terms) as they risk if far too high. Also, with the relatively low chance of anyone being able to sell a party hat for cash, there will be little desire to pay for one.

Another rant about BH and in-game idiots..
Im going to put this simply; Turn public chat off, or simply ignore them It baffles me just how upset people get about pixelated characters 'insulting them'... You made a decision to get whatever levels you have and what technique you choose to use when in BH - you ought to stick by this decision. If you have faith in your decision, you should be laughing at them for not doing the same, not ranting about it.

No PK? No Staking? No market? No drop trades?
This is such a typical, childish response i'd expect from most RSOF users, but not a Tifer... He's actually made some good points, and amist all the swearing and grammar, i agree whole heartedly with him. Oh, and i'll make this point now; Anyone who flames him for drop trading - shut it now! Im sure, somewhere along your career, you've drop traded, got a mate to lend you over 30k, used two accounts to interact, duel logged, taken a piss while logged in (yes, this is AFK training)... So dont flame him you haters. Hes absolutely right... I believe that many of the good factors have gone. We habe BH, Duel Tournaments and other things sure, but they cant replace the old Runescape... However, this is my point - i also agree with many of the other posters on this thread. Have you heard of such a word as compromise? Its basically doing something you used to do one way, and doing it a different way. You like player killing? Try Bounter Hunter. You like staking? Try a duel tournament. If you're really that fussed, either make your 'bank' account a main, or simply find new ways to make money.

Lvl 3 = Noob. Why?
This is probably the 5,000th rant like this... Im going to take a guess... You've probably either; A) Been called a noob once or twice and had a hissy fit over it... And the likelihood is you weren't even called a noob over level 3 B) You're either instigated or participated in an argument which has resulted in being called a noob... Oh, and level 30's also get called noobs... Probably more so than level 3s as its obvious they're not 'skillers'. People do not just call you a 'noob' for being level 3... And if they do, it does not prompt a weak, 30 word rant...

War on RWT - Why this new feature?
Not exactly... There are millions of RWT accounts, and probably thousands with enough cash on them to buy GS's and other items. If one site controls 1,000 accounts with GSs, and charge $10 a day, thats till $10,000 they can make a day if people demand it.

Wannabe Moderators.
Theres a difference between a 'wannabe moderator' and someone who simply reports you for breeching the rules... The way i see it, this thread was made because you broke a rule, and are simply choosing to bear a grudge on the person who did this to you. First of all, how do you define a wannabe moderator? This is how i'd define one; A player who seeks out or purposely choose locations where there is a high likelihood of players breaking the rules. This player than reports all players they see in this location for anything they deem as breaking the rules - from a simple typing error resulting in the use of the filter, all the way to people asking others for their passwords.. How do you define a player who reports you but is not a 'wannabe' mod? ... A regular player, who does not seek out players for the sole reason of reporting, and happens to 'pass by' a rule breaker, and simply report them, before moving on. Many 'wannabe' mods often have this course of 'lecturing' the rule breaker once they have reported them. They are kidded into believing Jagex are actually going to read what is it they are saying to them... Whereas a regular player who reports will just continue on their way. To be honest, there are probably a darn site more 'regular players' who report more often than 'wannabe' mods, as they believe to do it in the spirit of the game, not for this 'player status symbol'. My advise to anyone who wants to avoid these 'wannabe' mods is...Dont even imply to break the rules... Simple.
