Going to order my books later today. EDIT: Just under $300 worth of books for two. Had to buy workbooks new (Roughly $60-70 ea), and one used textbook was $120. Two classes either didn't require a book or the professor didn't list one, and I'm waiting to see if that isn't the case with a third. So, I've got a psychology textbook and workbook, and a computer sciences workbook.
  2. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? That's kinda lame... Sounds like they're taking a lot of cues from Morrowind.
  3. -Even minor NPCs have much more complexity and depth compared with Oblivion. This shouldn't be hard at all. :twss:
  4. This. There was a post about starting the game on the 10th, then a post about how Iey was dropping out, then nothing. I was waiting for some sort of announcement.

[bleep] you, that's stuck in my head now.

Thought you were going to post something to get Dungeoneering started :-?
  7. Really, any political news program. Who needs truth? The party that YOU THE VIEWER supports can do no wrong. Everyone else is a heathen-caveman-Nazi or some [cabbage] like that. Which is why conservatives watch FOX news, libertarians read Ayn Rand, socialists read anti-corporate news, independents do something meaningful with their lives, yadayadayada so on so forth blahblahblah.
  8. There's a difference between film or music and an RS guide. The former are done for profit or for art or for whatever other reasons people have for doing that. Guides for video games are usually done for the purpose of helping others. Some people prefer videos, some prefer text. There are enough of both that it shouldn't be hard to find one in either format.
  9. I find the entire premise of that show horrifying. Is there anyone that it could possibly appeal to aside from pedophiles? I have found that parents with young children like that show. Please note this does not mean that all parents with young children like the show. TBH TLC's programming has gone south in the last few years. I just saw an ad for it on some other network a while ago (Either USA or A&E) and thought "There's no way that someone won't complain"
  10. I bought planks for a completely unrelated reason, then decided to save them for BEXPW. It'll make 99 construction affordable for me.

It makes sense both ways though. There are a lot of posts and with threads like "Last one to post wins!" essentially being controlled spam... Same as Blogscape and Rate This! I think. If that isn't enough, there's the 'active postcount' thing on the profile page. Mather has over 10,000 posts, for example.
  14. For those of us with longer hair then. That said, it's quite annoying to have a small amount of hair that refuses to stay out of or away from your eyes.

On the contrary, it's very entertaining

I'd recommend checking out Video Games and Consoles and Movies, Music, and Television as well. They're subforums of Off Topic, a forum that is particularly... Complicated. If you didn't like that politics that were discussed in here, OT is many times more serious, though you have those impossibly serious discussions alongside lighthearted threads. That doesn't carry over to the subforums though
  17. I think there might be a tiny bit of innuendo in this thread. It's very subtle, so if you don't see it, it's okay.

I'm trying that kind of thing with Tyranitar, Terrakion, and Starmie. Results have been good so far, though instead of SR, mine has DDance and Outrage.
  19. There just hasn't been anything TIF-meme-worthy in a while.

The way I would have put it is "Yuri Lowenthal jumping out of nowhere at the speed of light to anime-punch a guy in the face". The truth, it seems, is just as insane. Must look into that series...
  21. I'm so glad that 12 year old me never discovered this forum and 14-year old me's posts are all gone. Character development is a beautiful, beautiful thing.

Fix'd And then I read the quote from Tansuo in your signature. BRB Brain bleach :uhh:
  23. >_> <_< That kind of thing's been happening on and off for quite a while now. People come in, discuss religion, [cabbage]storms ensue for a little bit, then life goes on. Repeat as necessary. Usually with new people on each side.
  24. I'm actually starting to think that the main goal of Anonymous is to add more restrictions to the internet, thus making them the greatest meta-trolls that ever lived.

Many others have probably been killed over greed or emotion today. The problem seems to be more human nature than whatever specific causes people want to vilify. It's much easier to say there won't be violence if we get rid of politics/religion/money/nationality/whatever else you want than it is to say that there wouldn't be violence if we change human nature.
