Well everything does seem to be in tip top shape, as long as you have your firewall on and set to ask if anything needs access to the internet. You shouldn't have any problems, the page that was seen could also have just been a hoax. They used to be quite a common way of making people panic and more often than not, people sacrifice security after a hoax because they think that it hasn't worked. Remember to remove one of your AV programs though, you only need one. :wink: Make sure Windows is fully updated aswell. That's all that I can suggest. :)

Last time I checked just about all the socket 939 boards allowed overclocking. I myself have had experience with both an MSI K8N Neo2 and a K8N Neo4 Platinum in both cases. Which are not really that expensive in my opinion. Are you sure you're not being limited by RAM? :? In most cases people think because they can't overclock a processor it's because of the processor or the motherboard, when it's not. It'll be the RAM. Also I assume you know you need to set the HTT for 4 or lower? You can't have the HTT at 5 and do over 205MHz under most circumstances. Remembering that HTT x Bus speed must equal 1000 or near abouts. Edit: If you're thinking about another board, my personal suggestions for a manufacturer would be Abit, Asus, DFI or MSI. Personally I wouldn't pick a Gigabyte board, but I've seen way too many of the old Socket A's die. :( I doubt you'll get a DFI board with an AGP slot though, and I don't believe newegg are doing MSI on the AGP format. Abit or Asus then. :P

This is the reason why you should CHECK automated sites like that... Don't remove C:\Program Files\HP\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd2[Caution: ExecutableFile] Also the BHO or Browser Helper Object is a part of the Download Accelerator Plus program. So if you use it don't remove it, if you don't use it I suggest looking in Add/Remove programs first. Removal with Add/Remove programs is always your best bet. The other two I cannot comment on, it's really up to yourself. Another thing you might want to do is choose one Anti-Virus program. :P Remove the other one, it has been known for two AV programs to tie each other up. Just a small suggestion, use Spybot in Advanced mode (Mode menu -> Advanced Mode) and check out the Hosts file, BHOs and ActiveX controls pages. If you see anything out of the ordinary don't be afraid to ask what it is. Or better yet, google the filename and see what some pages say. :)

Actually I can reformat a PC in less than half an hour. Including XP and all the service packs + patches. Installing your software is your own problem though. If you can't fix a problem and you know how to format and reinstall windows. Why don't you just do it? :? I used to do it every 3 months or so just to keep my PC running fast.

These following images speak for themselves... They really do release quests too frequently on RS2, I only really started playing it about 4 months ago and I really don't have the time to catch up. :( I used to love doing quests as can be seen from the RSC quest pic. Only RS2 quests I've done are the ones required to get into places that I feel I need. Apart from that, I've not bothered. Updates that I'd like to see are things like a new combat based skill. Something like Necromancy. A few updates to the wilderness which seems to be more and more neglected as the updates go on. The world below the wilderness is being expanded both to the east and the west. Yet the wilderness stays along a certain boundary (F2P). :? More powerful Ranged gear would be nice. An implementation of Dragon arrows would be immense. Funnily enough I can't afford to use Rune, but it'd stop everyone else complaining. ^_^; New more powerful smithable items would be lovely even if they had to expand on the 99 boundary for just that skill. :o (I know this one won't be popular.) Player owned houses would be nice for some of the more involved RuneScape players. (Ie. RolePlayers.) Some Fletching for F2P. They can cut the higher level logs yet they can't use them apart from to set on fire? LAME! That's about it from me.

Duel? PK? Castle Wars? Fight Pits? I like fighting... Plus with 99 smithing you can make your own r00n armour. ^_^;

I had this same argument with some guy on RS the other week. It was in beta before being released mid January to February. I don't know for sure but I've seen so many people that played back then post about it. So please don't say the game is more than 5 years old. Edit: I just quickly skimmed over the rest, holy crap dude you're so inconsistent. You go from being able to pk anywhere to going to level 48 wilderness and then state that you had a rune long you couldn't use? I for one was playing RS when they added level restrictions. I was way below the required level 40 attack for rune weapons but I had saved up the 32k to buy it from the Champions Guild. Mining coal was such a good way of making money back then. On that little note, was I so annoyed when they put Adamantite plate down from 40k to 16k. :x "u could have been a lvl 20 picking off a lvl 3 lol. crazy!!! : )" - I believe I read from older posts that the requirements for pking were set 4 combat below and 4 combat above. Basically it was like level 4 wilderness all over RS. I may be completely wrong but I'd rather hear from someone that doesn't have 1 post and has a name I recognise from that time period. Types of character were something along the lines of Warrior, Mage, Ranger, Miner, Adventurer. All had their basic skills up to a maximum of 7 (or 9 I can't remember). Example: Miners had 7 (or 9) mining. "and back then u couldnt see what the other person's combat level was, so u could be talking to a lvl 3 or a lvl 80" - I loved that! Couldn't beat making some bronze armour and wondering about in lumbridge. :)
