    Oblivion!

Great game, even for people like me... You see I get bored very easily. But Oblivion kept me entertained for 2 frickin' weeks! That might not seem like much, but I'll put it into perspective. I bought Hitman: Blood Money, played the first level. Got bored and I haven't played it since. That was on the day of the UK release. :P My only problem with Oblivion in general is, the quests. All you do is talk to someone pick the right or wrong answer (which doesn't matter) and go and talk to a few other people who just so happen to be on the other side of the map. Then go kill some vampires/goblins/people in some remote cave that you would have never found by yourself. Last thing, PC version > 360 version.
  2. Do you get any unusual POST beep codes? Do you even get the standard "Hey I'm working fine!" POST beep code? If you have a spare Power Supply, I suggest trying that with it first.
  3. It was definately interesting, to say the least. Singing along was just the icing on the cake. I forgot to mention the song was playing on my iPod, not the PA system. That woulda been a sight to see, shame I missed it.
  4. Depends on how you plan on purchasing. You get CS:S free when you buy the Half-Life 2 DVD. Or you could download Steam and pay for CS:S by itself online. http://www.steampowered.com/

    Best Cars!

Not in this colour... Jaguar XJ200S
  6. Happy birthday I guess... Not much you can do at 14, so it's not that good. :P
  7. You pay attention to wrestling at your age Necro? You should be ashamed. RIP.
  8. I'm a kitten slaughterer to trade, when you're finished with little 'Merlin'. I'll be happy to take him...
  9. I'm going to have to have to say the DS... Mainly because, I WANT ONE! :XD: But knowing you, I reckon you'd enjoy the Bond collectors case more. I bought my Dad something similar for his 50th and he loved it. Do you like Mario or Bond more? :P

    diablo 2

Meh, I used to play on 1.09. Stopped when they brought out the crap that was 1.10. A few months later me and my mate started playing 1.11, lost everything though due to using maphack. :wall: I don't even know if my CD-Key still works on battle.net...
  11. In other words, it wasn't anything you downloaded. You just happened to have a vulnerable machine. Which I can't see why, as it was patched back in 2003~. I can't figure out why I am having connection problems. I am dropping packets left and right. I hate satelite internet, but beleive me it has nothing to do with that. I called the ISP, they said they arn't doing any maintainance. I checked my router and this is really starting to bug me. You said you had "repaired" XP, this would cause you to have to obtain all the windows updates again, it might be downloading. Oh, and after that worm got in my system, I "repaired" windows with my windows CD... is it possible some of my services got reenabled and are causing me lag? I know I had a good ammount of them disabled, and I am using a wireless card... dunno if that means anything, but after repairing windows it looks like everything was reverted back to "automatic" Yeah, repairing an XP install puts it back to defaults. That's the whole point in the repair. Have you tried it hardwired, just for a comparison. I know I can't use wireless to game, as it lags me out alot. Arg... I wish blackviper wouldn't have taken down his site. All help is much appreciated. Oh, one last thing, if I repaired windows, is it possible my sound driver got messed up? Or is it just my imagination that things sound different? I really need help on this one, especially with the next season of CAL coming up, I can't be lagging during matchs!!! If you need a disk to install the sound driver, it should have asked you when it was repairing the install, if XP has native support for your soundcard, then it should be working the way it was before. Try downloading your latest soundcard drivers? 12. Yeah I think I got a 4 aswell... It was down to how much of a partition I gave it though. Apparently you get a really low score for a 20GB partition. #-o My only real problem with Vista was the speed of it, I don't think it had full support for my motherboard. So it was even slower than XP. I'm also kinda pissed that Microsoft haven't included their new file system, that was the main reason I was going to go out and buy Vista... But supposedly they can't get it to work properly, so we're stuck with NTFS for now. :wall:
  13. Have you tried removing the folder that contains the Runescape data? C:\Windows\.file_store_32 Rename that folder to something else, I suggest something like ".file_store_32backup" and try running Runescape again, it should download everything from scratch.
  14. Be a little more specific, what country are you on about? There are several countries that have a Big Brother. I also agree with LP. Never have liked it, and this year might be the last. =D>
  15. Ahh sweet! A "mine is bigger than yours" thread. Case: Aspire X-QPack (Black windowed) Processor: AMD Athlon64 4400+ X2 Memory: 2GB Corsair TWINX2048-4000PT (DDR4000) Motherboard: DFI INFINITY RS482 (micro-ATX) Hardrive(s): Maxtor Diamondmax 9 120GB SATA drive Maxtor Diamondmax 9 300GB SATA drive Optical drive(s): AOpen 16X DVD-ROM AOpen 16X DVD-/+RW Graphics card: ATi Radeon X1900XTX (512MB) Sound card: On-board (Not enough space left anyway...) I tried OC'ing it to around 2.5GHz each core on air, it was stable for a few weeks, until I got the micro-ATX case and motherboard. Plus the faster graphics card pumps out alot of heat too. So it's all stock. :)
  16. Low detail, starting music annoys the hell outta me. :wall:
  17. Definately sounds like a vibration of some sort. Can't say I've heard that before though. Clean your fans properly (best thing for it, is canned air). Maybe try running your computer with the hardrive hanging out the side, if the noise is coming from the hardrive you should hear it better. Can't really say much more than that. Have you made sure your optical drives are operating properly?

    plz close

We call it Snakes & Ladders and it was great fun... Until you got to like number 27 or 28 (Can't really remember) and you get put down to like 5 or 6 again. :( Oh yeah about the subject at hand. If you've played it and you think it's unworthy to be bought/sold as it's "stupidest". Then you're entitled to your opinion, if you're basing your opinion on watching someone play or even worse, the over-exaggerated TV show. You can now PM a moderator to close your topic before someone gets pissed with you.
  19. I've had this for over a year, only thing is... I've never actually played it. I bought it from GAME after seeing some RL friends playing it at the net cafe down town. For some reason I've never had the guts to install it. Maybe it's because it's only for a month, I'm kinda scared I'll get hooked and have to fork out a tenner each month. :? Then again I could be scared that I just won't like it... Waste of ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã9.99. :(
  20. I hope you realise that the Radeon 9800xt is a AGP card so it would not be comptaible with that motherboard. I hope you know, I know what I'm talking about. Been a computer engineer for at least 2 years, been playing with PCs since I was 8. The K8N Neo2 is AGP, the Neo4 is the PCI-E edition. :) No hard feelings though, it's kinda awkward to distinguish between the two with only a number. :o
  21. What I'm currently running on. What I'll be getting in 2 days. Next month I'll be saving up for a Shuttle SN25P case, then the month after that I'll be going for a Radeon X1900XTX. Or I was thinking about an X1900AIW. The PC spec above is only a filler as I don't have enough money to buy everything I'd like now. :P
  22. It'd be neat if you could get them from the game... *Hint hint* PS. I know it'd be impossible, but I like speculating.
  23. My mate has a part of his censored. Dazz Man, I believe it turns into **** Man or D*** Man. Quite annoying, so if we refer to him ingame we just call him 'Daz'. :?
  24. Pretty much the same car as Rizla, apart from mine is alot slower. :( His 2.0L > My 1.4L. Mine is also just red, not got any of that metallic pish on it. :P
  25. Simple point, don't read the PK'ing boards.
