If you had XP and Solaris and went to vista, thats not an upgrade... New and shiny? Sounds like an upgrade to me.

Buy a PCI card, PCI-E is usually pretty expensive for something that's doesn't need the extra speed on the BUS. Hehe brooooom. Netgear make some fairly cheap stuff? Belkin... Um. 3Com, dunno if they make wireless adapters. Just about anything will do.

54Mbps is your local wireless speed. The speed at which you can transfer data between PCs that are also connected to the same network. The internet is connected to your network but has a modem to communicate to the outside world and this will be a much slower speed unless you've paid for a specifically high speed modem and service. If that's not clear, go to wikipedia or something and read up.

Either you keep pressing the windows key or another program that is maybe running in the backround is taking focus. Try running a few anti-adware scans. And maybe get a hijackthis log here so someone that's not me can see if there's anything dodgy running.

Contact their customer support if they have any... When I went to Live Mail Beta I managed to keep all my emails. Then again, I didn't keep my important mail in my inbox. Password information from several years ago is still all there. Unlucky maybe? Or someone else has had access to your account and decided it would be amusing to delete all your emails.

Don't be aggressive, I know they were [puncture]s but you shouldn't stoop to their level. Solaris as I believe is based on the Unix OS. Linux is also based on the same OS. So technically you're not all that wrong. Check out Wikipedia for more information on Unix operating systems. :)

I'm truly jealous... I've been wanting to do that since I started playing. Shame I'm too lazy to get up that high. Although, I had a brainstorm. Deleted all my characters and now I'm working on getting an Undead Rogue up to 70. I think it'll be better for sneaking into cities seen as I've played Alliance mostly. I know where the hidey holes are. :mrgreen: You should post a few more pictures in cities you shouldn't be. I hear Org is getting snipers or something for the tops of the "buildings" in 2.1. So you might wanna play around there before it goes live.

Install a virtual machine program, obtain Windows 95 and install. Screencapture the picture and save. Or Google it, someone silly might have already done something like this. Hell, someone might still be running Windows 95.

I don't know where you're looking Matt but this guy's right. There is definately an option in the BIOS if you have onboard graphics. Do yourself a favour and look at the manual that came with your motherboard too. It may give you some much needed info on where to find the option in the BIOS or tell you if there's a jumper on the motherboard to set it to onboard. Tis the only thing it can be, assuming the port is working. It's not completely unknown for onboard graphics ports not to work. As for the 9800, you're getting serious artifacts. Like other people have mentioned it could be multiple things ranging from problems with the VRAM to overheating. Seen as you've got nothing to lose... Try removing the heatsink/fan from the card and re-applying it with some fresh thermal paste. Might help, might be a complete waste of time... Have fun ya'll.

Considering the fact that these games no longer are in sale, I doubt it's illegal. Just because they don't sell the games doesn't mean that Nintendo (and other companies) have thrown their copyrights out. Especially when the Wii is supposed to have things like Super Mario on it eventually (or now? I don't know...)

You can obtain level 375 in your skills at level 50. Mage portal or warlock summon into Outland and you just have to make it across to the trainers. Rogues are best at this because of stealth.

Sorry, that just made me laugh. Vista isn't 'too secure', it just annoys the hell out of people asking for the same password over and over. Most people will adopt the same click before reading mentality they have now or just shut UAC off entirely, making the whole system useless. Already done it. I know how to keep a PC secure and that thing was bugging the hell out of me. I'll probably be buggered when the latest uber worm comes out, but until then it can stay off. Vista is actually quite complete, nothing about the OS seems buggy. My only problem the now is incompatible IDE drivers which are causing a system wide slowdown on multitasking. Pain in the arse when you have 3 monitors and can't use them. :?

And why? Because moronic Alliance kids like to farm HK's. True that. Nothing worse than trying to defend, attack, keep the flag and get the flag back by yourself with another 2 players while the other 7 are happily fighting the Horde in the middle. It happens too often that I gave up trying to tell them what to do. This is in 40-49 bracket. Maybe it'll get better when I get into the 50's or 60's. :-k
