  1. Yeah, I'll also have to mention that it's the healthy balance of food because you were trying so hard that made you fitter. When you were eating meat, you even admitted you didn't eat it often. That's already a bad balance. So saying that you got healthier from going vegetarian is false. Talk to a decent dietitian, they'll tell you the same. PS. I can't really talk about balance. I don't have breakfast, I rarely have lunch, sometimes have dinner and every so often I'll have a snack before bed. I get tired walking up 2 sets of stairs... :-$
  2. You know I was expecting a case study on ears with a topic name like that. Try being a tad more descriptive mate. Yeah, I'd say try sucking on some hard boiled sweets. Jolly Ranchers work wonders because they make your mouth water like crazy.

    Good usernames?

    On WoW I use Japanese pronunciation of various normal names. Chris = Kurisu Bullen = Burein Scott = Sukotto Laura (Don't ask...) = Roora Other times I do something as simple as reversing the name. I have a character called Arual on Shattered Halls. She's Laura. ^_^;
  4. Run HiJackThis and post a log. Someone should be able to point out any rogue processes. That's only if you downloaded it... You can rarely be keylogged just by someone posting something in a forum. I say rarely as there is a few Internet Explorer exploits that use images to run software on a remote pc.
  5. I disagree, if you want real information and you have drivers already installed. I suggest using device manager. To say it's more comprehensive is an understatement. If no drivers are installed. Download PC Wizard 2007. Freeware utility that detects your hardware and tells you what it is. In my opinion DxDiag is only really good for checking your directx version. Tis what I run if I get someone with a gaming problem.
  6. Wow, way to go offtopic... I got introduced to the game by Azvareth, so I've been pretty much hanging around him. Shattered Hand (Which I currently play) Burein - Level 48 Night Elf Rogue Rarufu - Level 19 "Twink" Human Rogue Kurisu - Level 29 Human Warrior (Deleted) Roora - Level 14 Human Priest (Deleted) Shattered Halls (Which I don't play atm) Demonoid - Level 18 Blood Elf Paladin Alucard - Level 10 Blood Elf Rogue PS. I like rogues.
  7. So "Ultimate" Frisbee.. Is that just like throwing a normal Frisbee at each other, apart from you do it with blindfolds and earplugs in a glass room?
  8. Yes Please :D No sweeties for non-kiddies. I'm a minor! More lies, kids I'm looking for can't spell 'a'.
  9. Deloriagod... That was that weird chick with the gender confusion, right?
  10. If you have to ask where to find Ubuntu, you shouldn't be trying to use Linux. Go for Vista if you want a new OS, it'll bug the hell out of you with UAC crap, but at least you'll know how to make your games work.
  11. Luckily my username/email is my real name... They won't catch me so easy. Here kiddies... Want a sweetie?
  12. Damnit, I clicked this expecting pics. Then again it is Tip.It. :wall:

    !!!

Hmm. Well this is a nice surprise. Good to know you didn't drop off the face of the planet.
  14. I get bored easily. To say that is a definite understatement. I'm the sort of person that buys a ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã50 game, plays it for 2 days and forgets about it. But I have to say. World of Warcraft is a better game. I admit I am starting to get a bit bored doing the same things over and over again, but I'm going to make my final decision when I get my first character to level 60. I believe it's a lot more fun. My idea is get level 60 and go ganking (killing lower level players) in Horde (opposite faction) cities. Other people just like levelling, some people like gathering a lot of money. I know someone who just uses the Auction House (Like a mini-ebay) to buy and sell for profit. *cough* Landon *cough*. It's stupid to only play a game for a few days and immediately dislike it. I don't enjoy playing RuneScape anymore. In fact I hate the game... But I have the perfect excuse. I've been playing since 2001. Pros of WoW? Better social environment. Say you're walking through an area you're not supposed to be in yet. You get attacked by a much higher level mob (monster, npc) if there is another player around they'll help you. In fact, I regularly help lower level players I see. Armour and weapons are more in-depth than RuneScape. I can't explain it, but if you've ever played Diablo or Diablo II/LoD then you'll know what I'm talking about. It has proper guild support if you're into that sort of thing. (I have yet to join one) If you choose to be on a PK server, you have the opportunity to kill players just about anywhere. There are restrictions though. Example: If you're Alliance in Horde territory you can't attack a Horde player unless they attack you first. But if you're in Alliance territory or contested territory you can attack them whenever you want. Party support is another bonus, there's a lot of quests that require up to a 5 man party. I've not been in one yet, but you can also be in a 40 man raid. Part of the party system is doing instances, which are unique dungeons that you and your party/raid can enter for gaining items that no one else can interfere in. There are other benefits, but like other people say. It's all down to personal preference. I'm biased though, like I said I don't like RS anymore. :P
  15. Difference in the drive. Walkman you clip in the CD. Same with a laptop. The Xbox and the 360 for that matter are like standard DVD-Roms that you'd get in a PC. You wouldn't move your PC about especially onto its side with a spinning CD inside would you? About the Xbox PSU. I too have an early Xbox, I got my power cable about 2 weeks after the recall was made. This really is OLD news. Easily 1.5+ years.
  16. Excellent work there champ, someone finally figured it out. :uhh: Kekeke.

  19. Ya, thats what i think, my folks say, "YOu got too much crap in it", but i dont. Just explain to them. As time goes on and computer hardware gains speed and size, so do the programs. Give them the example of games. Shadow President is a really old simulation game. It's 16MB. Came on 1CD back in 1994. World of Warcraft (I know it's an extreme...) is a game from 2004 and when installed on a computer now. It comes in at a whopping 5.8GB. In ten years the size of games have increased over 300 times what they were. If that doesn't work, try stomping your feet and shouting "I WANT A NEW HARDRIVE! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" That used to work.
  20. Admittedly you're an a*****e and I now will do everything in my power to piss you off. BUT! You're not too bright, so I'll pretend that you're special. Guess what! It's already compressed! :o To prove it, I zipped the file that is downloaded from Microsoft. Compared to the original... Oh noes! The zip file is a whole 81.5KB smaller! So now... Stop being a p***k, K?
  21. Well you're going to have to do what I do. Show all files in C:\ and go through every single folder and see how much space it takes up. If you see an abnormal amount of space being wasted, go into every single sub-folder and check to see if it's important or not. Then again, maybe it's time to get a new hardrive? :P
  22. You do realise that's supposed to happen? Computer heats up, computer thinks "damn, it's hot in here" and computer switches on a fan. Or more likely turns up the fan to a higher speed until the temperature comes down. My graphics card does the same. I play something like Oblivion on high detail for about 10 minutes and the fan goes into overdrive. It sounds like a bloody vacuum. Still, it's normal and shouldn't be complained at. To reduce the noise when you're playing high detail games your best bet would be to rebuild your computer for max airflow. Get a large (slow speed) intake fan in the front and get another large (slow speed) exhaust fan for the back. Depends on if they'll both fit in your case too. If it is definately your PSU fan that's speeding up this'll help by reducing the temperature of the air that goes into the PSU to cool it down. Or on the other hand, you could just run it with the case off.
  23. You know it is possible that you've just ran out of space, that there's no other reason apart from you have too many files. :P Try backing up older files onto CD/DVD. If you have a lot of movies or music, remove some of the stuff you never watch/listen to. I had about 26GB left on my 300, I quickly went through my video files and deleted a bunch of shows I hadn't watched in months. Instantly freeing up around 36GB. Another obvious thing to do is, remove programs that you don't use much. Through Add/Remove programs of course.
