I doubt it'd be encrypted as you've already connected to the client on the webpage. It's a bit different than buying things online as you have to submit information, which sends it via a form. Easiest way to explain it would be... Buying things online is like sending your details on a letter and sending it through the post. If not encrypted just about anybody (postal workers) in between the send and receive can read the details. You typing your details into the client directly is like giving your details over the phone. You already have connected point to point and no one else can see/hear your details although you're speaking in plain English.

Only ever been bullied twice and both times were in Primary School (Ages 5 - 11), The first time I can't really remember. It was from a Pakistani (sp?) kid in the year above me. Basically he got bullied badly and what he went through he tried to pass to me. Luckily for me, my mother cared a lot about me and noticed changes in me, so I told her about and she sorted it out with his parents. Second time was from a 'Cool kid' wannabe, he's always been a [puncture]. Basically he used to torment me by saying he was gonna beat me up after school. Again I told my mother and it didn't really escalate (sp?) too much. After I got into High School (11 - 18) I just sorta kept to myself and my group of friends. We were the big guys who liked playing wrestling. Funny that we probably done more damage to each other than the real wrestlers done to themselves. I avoided the first and second year fights, basically it was the 'cool kids' fighting for superiority. Sure I might have won a few fights, but honestly I didn't see the point in it. By the time I hit 4th year and age 16 I was pretty much fully grown. Just under 6ft and built heavy, so no one again bothered. I had one run in with the second bully from primary school in physics class. He was blocking the door and pretending to be amusing. He didn't block the door for long as I was bigger, stronger and wasn't really going to take his crap. I'm not a tough guy, I'm not a bully, I'd say I'm more of a peacekeeper. I only fight when I have to and most of the time I'll avoid it completely. You're mentioning a group of chavs, that happens regularly up here even at my age. They hang around the shops and ask people to buy them drink or '[bleep]s'. Most of the time I sarcastic no will suffice. When I do that they know it'd be too much trouble for them to do anything. Only once has one tried to block my path, I just walked straight past and nudged them out of the way. I know it sounds like I'm overly confident in these situations, believe me. I'm far from it. Anytime I see those kids I always think they're gonna take a swing at me or something. I just simply don't care. Well that was long winded, feel free to ask any questions about anything I've said because to be honest, I'd rather answer questions than be called a [puncture] like Mr 6ft Muscle. :-w

Style-biter! Seriously though, the three rogues on this thread have all cancelled subs. Haha, how strange. Maybe we should have rolled fury warriors. :ohnoes: I don't have a reason or anything for quitting, just sorta got bored after I hit 70. All through levelling I've wanted to get to 70 to be the highest level so I can have fun... I didn't realise you had to do the same amount of work/effort/time again to be half decent at level 70 too. Sure I have over 1500AP but I have just over 6,600HP. Not exactly the sort of thing I had in mind when I wanted to get to 70. Started back on D2 with a Druid... I played to level 5 and got bored. I think I might have some sort of attention disorder. :wall:

Megaupload? Do a google search... -
Yeah, but you really can't compare a druid on the PTR to one on a live realm unless you know you're going into a good raiding guild. :P The 70 Rogue I have on the PTR mauls things. My 70 rogue on live realm, he's about as useless as an ashtray in a motorbike. PS. Cancelled both my subs. :D 22nd of September will be my last day playing unless I get bored. I will return for the new expansion though.

My suggestion would be to buy two HDD coolers. I had two before I moved to a microATX case. They were silver each with a temperature sensor and LCD and a small fan for keeping circulation going over the drive. Admittedly if using it as the only intake it will heat up the inside of the computer marginally. But it'll keep the hardrives cooler. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835150085 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835888311 If you don't want to use them with your hardrive(s). Don't. :P But it makes the front look a bit nicer.

Heh, I work a fulltime job, play video games (WoW) for 6 - 7 hours a day and still get "enough" sleep. I say it like that because I get my 8 hours. Yet I'm always tired, at the weekend when I've got no work and no alarm clock I tend to sleep for the duration my body needs. It could be 5 hours it could be 14... I've still not figured out a perfect amount of time yet. One of my workmates gets 6 hours a day regardless and always feels fine. Then again, he's had time to experiment being just over twice my age. As for 'teenagers', if they're under the age of 18 their parents should be telling them when to get to bed and get up in the morning. I remember going to bed at my bedtime but staying up with a torch and a book... Yes, not very technological. I got in trouble a few times when my mum or dad seen the light through the bottom of the door. So it does really depend on the parents and if they care enough about their children to help them. After they're 18, I think they should know by now how much time to play games/watch tv for. At least I got the choice. Then again, I had a full time job by the age of 18. :-k

I didn't waste my time, and if you have an opinion try to give it in a non-factual thread. Like "What do you think about X movie?". :)
-
Of course... I mean, what do you do? You just point it at a password box, type in a username and press go don't you? I mean why would you want to protect yourself using firewalls and proxies. No one's ever gonna prosecute you for bruteforcing hotmail or myspace. Very first sentence. So you see Keylogging and Bruteforcing ARE hacking. I think what you mean is downloading Keylogging and Bruteforcing applications and running them is not hacking. It is still to an extent but most 'real' hackers would prefer to use their own programs.

Nero 7 has a built in feature for making DVD movies. And specifically Tip.It wouldn't and shouldn't have any problem with this discussion unless the poster is downloading movies illegally. There are plenty of other reasons why someone may want to burn to DVD format.

I know... Another "I GOT A CAR!!!1one" Topic, but look =]
Chris replied to fgfuyfyuiuy0's topic in Off-Topic
America still scares me... To think that you can drive vehicles that large at such a young age. This is more like the type of car I'd expect a 16/17 year old to drive. Mainly due to our ridiculous insurance prices. My first car was a Ford Fiesta 1.1L and the car cost 450 pounds ($900) but cost over 1200 pounds to insure for a year. What sorta insurance do you kids pay for massive vehicles like that? -
Damn, that's a great way of going about it... Usually when I fight a lock, again it's because they started it. The first thing that gets into my head is to vanish, dunno why... I suppose it's to give me more time to think. So it usually goes like this. Lock: DoT, DoT, DoT (Dunno how many they actually have), Fear. Me: CLoS, Vanish. Lock: Fear, fear, fear, fear, fear... Me: *Feared* Lock: DoT, DoT, DoT. Me: Death *splat*. :wall:

Tried it. Thanks for your help anyway. P.S. It shows up in the bios and device manager. My virtual drive using dameon tools will not work either so I'm thinking it may be a driver/ software issue. Uninstall all burning software and Daemon Tools. Basically any software that has direct access to the drive/drivers. Shutdown the computer properly (not hibernate/standby etc...) Unplug the drive, start up windows. Make sure no drivers are running for the devices. Shutdown properly. Plug it back in. Start up windows and Vista "should" re-detect the drive(s) and install the drivers. Restart and see if it worked. Tis exactly what I'd do in that situation. Basic problem solving, so don't bite my head off if you've tried it already. :P Another thing to try would be swapping the drive from another computer. If it works, it's the drive. If it doesn't, it's the software/drivers/OS/new update. Oh the fun...

All 64-bit processors for home desktop PC's are backwards compatible. So why not buy a 64 bit processor machine for the future proofing not to mention it's just as cheap if not cheaper. Backwards compatible means that everything will work the same on a 64-bit processor as it would on a 32-bit one. Your only real worry should be deciding over single or dual core processors. Which in my opinion is also an easy decision. Dual core all the way.

Oh yes!! Priest power! Randy, you working on that sediment analysis? Now now, Nelson. I just joined a big party of Night Elves and we're going to go and explore the Tower of Azora together. that becomes so.. so.. soo.. much funnier when you actually play WoW because you realise that the tower of Azora / fargodeep mine / Jerod's landing are such crappy low levelled zones. Not when you play Horde on a PvP server. :D

Gonna drink alot of beer and stay up allllll night. Ah, I dunno. Sounds like a normal day for an Aussie. PS. I GOTS ME AN EPIX FLYIN' MOONT! I'd post a picture and brag a lot but both me and Azvi know how I got it. ^_^; Plus I'm at work, so I don't have access to the pictures.

Psssst Matt, that's a dictionary attack. Bruteforce if left long enough will hack anything. Only because it does this... Password: a Password: b Password: c Password: d Password: e .... Password: aa Password: ab Password: ac .... Password: ba Password: bb Etc. That's why having a password like abc123 is bad. Where-as having a password like xcjrnnvmn673mdjhjhrdv433 is good. Hell, mix in a few uppercase and you'll probably never ever get hacked. Unless of course you... A: Write it down. B: Install a keylogger. C: Tell people. Then, you sorta deserve it. :P

I'll have taken over the world by the time 2008 rolls in... So I guess I'll be sitting on a throne barking orders. :) In reality, I'll be working at the same dead end job for crappy wages trying to keep week after week rolling by. :

Holy crap what happened there? Thats what ya call a Horde raid on Stormwind. Psht, if it was a real raid they woulda gotten to the trade district with ease. I got all the way to Stormwind Keep solo (Without stealthing) in my mid 60's. I then died a horrible bloody death though. Ideal raid... Groups 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Tanking Druid (With full stealth) Rogue (With full stealth) Rogue (With full stealth) Healing Druid (With full stealth) Healing Druid (With full stealth) I'd like to see that someday. 40 Horde just sort of appearing in the middle of stormwind. Hehe... In the war room...

Depends on how old the teen is. :P Anything under 18 I strongly disagree as I feel they're ruining their late teenage years by jumping into adulthood too quickly. I mean, I'm 21 and I still act like a damn kid.

A hole in the wall? :uhh: A hand not good enough for her? You'd be surprised how weird this girl is... I don't think she really thought it through. In fact, I'm sure we were in the pub at the time.
-
Buy it. I can't imagine it'd be that expensive now...
-
Me and my mates have asked each other that question before... The guys all said they'd stand in front of a large mirror the whole time. (For obvious reasons). One of the girls said she'd find a hole in the wall and experience what it feels like... (All of us cringed at the thought of a hole in the wall, kinda rough don't you think?) Interesting study though Trapical. I'm definately gonna have a quick look at those webcomics you posted when I get home.

Yeah, that program has a bad habit of locking up itself. What happens is, it detects a crash, tries to debug. It then crashes itself and opens another instance of the program to debug that crash. Thus locking up the system in a loop so to speak. Whenever this happens to me in XP, I just go into the task manager and into processes find the process and cancel it. It usually returns the PC to working condition without a restart. As for the actual problem, sorry but I can't be arsed with HJT logs. PS. I think the name of the process is drwatson32. Google it if you're not sure though. :)
