I feel it's worth it to the people who want it. It's great to set your self targets, and if it's truely what an individual wants to do, I will make no issue of it. For me..... It's not somthing i plan on doing, I'm personally more intrested in the levels, but that does not mean I will stop nessasarly When i reach level 99.... as I play for the game experince, over the highscores. So if I enjoy somthing, I will not just stop.

They also appear to be using the miscalania "manage thy kingdom" thingy. Maybe we should be looking for tip.it people who regualy post in there? And then we get a comment last week that intrests me! "trouble at t'mill"! Now, im no expert but there are not many people from other contries who learn local diolects for the english areas. I would hazard a guess that the editor comes from northwest england. If they where midlands, or yorksihre it would mention mines. And southeners...... well I dont know what they did down there during the industrial revolution...... Mut working at t'mill is very lanshire. But to widen my guess...... Nice liettle guide, my only problem (it may not be a problem) for the above ground maps, you are using Knowledgebase maps, which are copywrited. You may need to use world map pictures.

It's simpaly a quest item. It was part of the quest Dig site, when it got a graphics update. You can go back and get another. Nothing special.

I have to say, I disagree with tha lack of bank space really, I'm a level 114 who trains all skills (expect range: but I still have all the items for it), and I have ALOT of bank space..... we are talking two bank pages here...... I cant think of anything I've had to sacrifce for it, and I still have alot of junk..... I need some clearage :D However..... i do agree with the need for organisation, If its possible that is.... Although, it seems to me, that this arltical was mroe of a hint droping thing to jagex rather than a good though provoking artical.

I think to be successful, you only have to enjoy your self. I think you are confusing successfull, with famous. But you dont need to have great stats to be famous, beeing a huge member in the community can work just as well :).

Iv'e said it before, the forums are far too busy as it is already, and currently only about 10% of people that play have access to the forums. There is no pratical way that we could manage the forums if they where F2P. As a forum moderator, i would probaly not cope, and may be tempted to resign if it happened.

Actually it was stated that they are not looking to make much money off it at all, it was dont totaly to help people, for a company of jagex's size, they would not even notice if the profits of this book where to get lost...... The primary use of the book, is nto to make money.

I was very weary about this when I first heaqrd about it, with it flapping around that world "offical", but it is infact real! i remember a discussuion about it on the offical forums, and Mod Ash responded, seevral members of jagex staff actually did help to write it, I belive even Paul himself was involved. It was written for free players because members is constantly changeing, and also the researchy they did found it was mainly free players that would be intrested in it. No idea why they dont sell it in the jaqhgex shop though.

The chat was not mentiond in the BTS artical, Andrew mentioned in with the Rule 7 update. Updates from conception to release usually take around 6 months to compleate, so depending on when he started on it, it could come anytime..... It may actually take longer as andrew is working on it him self, and he is a busy man.

Player reports are important I am lead to belive..... I think the systems need to know where to look. But jagex will never release how they do thing, for obvious reasons.

As a moderator on the offical forums, I would have to say one thing...... "OH DEAR GOD!" The offical forums, must be in my opionon one of the worlds busiess forums, wicth a huge comunity of around 650,000 accounts having access to them, with a reason to post. I belive there are around 7,000,000 runescape active accounts, alot of which are not mature enough to effectivly and sensibly post on the forums. members *tend* to be more mature than free players. Currently if left unattended a thread on the suggestions forum, will fall of page 50 if left unattended for around 18 hours, which is then MUCH faster on the weekends. And when the new treasure trail items where released (I am not exadurating here) a thread would have fallen off then end in under 3 hours!!! Crazy! The reason (in my opionon) why forums are members only, if not to be a "members benifit" but are there because if everyone had access to them, they would be unmanageble.

I dont think any company has all that good of a CS system. Although like in all cases, people are morelikely to complain if it goes wrong, then if it goes right.

You should never quote a rulebreaking comment, If it has no offence in, then sure by all means, quote to educate them, but put it in speach marks jagex can only react on what evidance they have, the original offence was not in that 60 second window, and so all it has was you; apparently trying to sell your account. In this case I would recomend you appealing the mark, if and only if, you know a few things: - the date the offence happened (although jahex should know this0 and - the name of the original offernder, without this you have no chance. You need to explain this to jagex, and they can then (if its recent enough) crossrefernce the original offence with your offence, You may beable to suscessfully appeal it. Good luck.

I think you have put this very badly, and is not a fair way to discuss jagex. You must remember that this is still a game where the employees care about the game. They get a large benifit from banning free players, and for that matter members, They want to protect the reputation of the game. If they let members to break the rules to continue playing just because they have credit left, I would ahve stoped playing long ago...... I would have no respect for jagex. Runescape was first made as a hobby by andrew Gower, not as a business. try looking at the game as sombodys passion, rather than a business, because thats what it is. The people who ban rulebreakers would not care if the player was a free player, member, or if they have 1 or 365 days member credit, they are simply workers for the business, and get nothing extra per account they ban.

It appears to me that jagex have made a mistake, and it should be sorted in your appeal. Unless you had somkind of add on tot he programe that broke the new 3rd party software rule (please dont think I am accusing you). Jagex will always make mistakes, dont blame them, if you see how much they have to do, the odd mistake is bound to happen. You will not find a way to fax jagex, they do not publish a phone number, and disreguard any CS issues via other e-mail adresses, and post.
