Tip.It Times Presents: Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes
Virtually every update is good in my opinion (with the exception of the reward balancing in temple trecking :P) the thing that has to be remembered is that an update cannot please evryone..... there will always be some people who dont like it. I love it when we get game engin updates, not because of the updat to the game engine update, but they reason for why it was needed! it's very somthing insignificant :(

Combat or Skill, Which do you prefer?
looking at what the game as a whole respect more..... it's skills. People always seem to respect the low level with high skills than they do the high level with low skills (points at pc high levels) I am a ballanced person and like combat and skills equally :)

rethinking the "no returned items" policy
It's far far far open to abuse! I think in some smaller games with older adverage ages it could work but certainly not in the case of RuneScape. also you probaly are unaware but Jmods dont have the ability to tamper with an account, when they are able to acsess our account details they see them as a read only text file, they ahve no way of changing any aspect of our bank accounts or stats.

I had an interesting talk with an 'autoer'
To be honest with you it's never been the workers them selves that i dislike..... t's the people who run the shops, and the community of people willing to support them. I fully understand they feel this is the only way they can bring money in, and frankly they ARE working. It does not mean that I accept them though, I dont what them in the game, they runi it. The game community are who to blame, and frankly it's the merchants that cause the problem too. People ar willing to buy items in huge quantities to save time when the know full well it's probaly around a 90% chance that they are buying farmed goods. The only way to remove these people fromt eh community is to stop buying items from them, if they cant sell there things the will stop operating in this game. Sadly I am intelagent to realise that people are too selfish (possibly bad wording) to make a effort to push these people form our community. Although we should not hate the peopel who work in the gold farms, we should still be trying to remove them from around us.

The latest update stinks because ... !
I belive the game engin team (andrew and Mod Michael) are working to fix that, it was a bug.

Moderator Status: Good or Bad?
Well, I think it depends where you are..... if you are standing in cathuby it is a hinderance, It is not a case of does the crown change anything, it's does the crown change the people around you. Pmods do get quite alot of hastle in some ingame areas, but yet I think it is a sign of respect. For some people it's a bad thing, people would not cope with it. But for true community peoplewho want to help the game players it's a good thing

To ban or not to ban: A lvl 126---1,500+ views
I dotn care how rich they are, how long they played for, how good of a community member they are: If they auto they get banned the rules are clear they obvioually know they have broken them, tollerance should not be offered.

Grrr - I was unfairly muted/banned!
Jagex do read your appeal, they read every single one. And they look into every single one (allowing for mistakes). Sure you got a premade message but this is not because it was answered by a computer. On the offical forums I am a forum mod, I have to respond to the same tone over and over again. This happens alot (for example) in the future updates forum, where people decide not to read what the forum is for, and post a suggestion...... When I go about claring this forum, I can ususall get 20 lcoked threads just on the first two pages (I tend not to go past there). It would be stupid for me to make a new responce every time, instead I have two which I wrote my self, and carfully worded to get all the infomation that is needed acorss.. But I will taylor the messages if it needs it. Now If I was to make a responce for every thread not only would my work be slower (and more boring), but I would probaly miss out some important infomation. And as I am dyslexic would sprobaly make quite a few spelling errors  . The same things happen at jagex, like your message ou recived above it would be a stupuid waste of time for jagex to make the same message over and over again so they are premade where sutible. The majority of things jagex deal with are mundane and repetative. SO whilst it looks like your appeal was not read, it was read, but to improve the service jagex offer they use a premade responce. Its a good thing!

POLL: Highest Stat?
96 is my highest stat which is attack. But my highest non combat skill is 94 firemaking.

Fletching Req.s for Drag arrows + darts?
Definatly a good high level content update, 90 for the arrows sounds right.

Mournings end...
I very much doubt it, I bleive from various quotes from the offical forums they have not even started MEP3 yet :( the drops for dark beasts are more of by public demand type thingy.

Do Player Mods really have as much authority?
Well in a circumstance like that you should have reported the moderator under rule 1 (to record the language) and then sent a query to customer support. Jagex would look very dimly on it and he mod stick may have well been removed for it. Thats really unfair to say, there are over 6,000 player moderators sure some will abuse their power, and if jagex found this they will be removed, but most are good honest people who want to make a differnce. And then of the 150ish froum moderators, there is not one I dont trust, they are all there to improve the community, and we do do a good job. Alot of people asume Player mods dont have alot of authority, and ingame you could be said as right, i dont think they have enough power, I feel they should be able to trade mute scammers and autoers, and do other things too. But alot of what they do is behind the scence, they are more important that you think.

Are you suggesting that jagex should stop making quests with high requriments becuase it's more of a challenge? Wow that would get some rants!

New reportable offense: be my gf/bf!
There was a thread on the offical forum, but we had to close it as it was going in a very bad direction.... shame! any who, it is not a major rule change, and they cannot announce the rule changes every time they happen. But this is a fantastic step in the right direction..... I always found people asking this to be very worrying, either far too younge to know what a releationship is, or somthing preditory, which is even worse! Out if intrest: would this not be better in the F2P general forum as it's not a members thing? (if effects more f2p'ers too)

Ditch or no Ditch?
Too be honest with you, I am glad of the introduction of the ditch! It was actually developed from a suggestion on the offical forums by one of my friends, although it was originally going to be a wall. i have a certain attacthment to it too :).... although I'm sure they would ahve though of it eventually the idea of a small gap between the 'wall' and the wildreness was my imput on it... tehehe. Seriousally though, it solves more problems than it makes, it stops numerous scams and lures, it gets rid of that annoying warning popup message that got me in edgvill wilderness or at the bridge over the river. Interms of the 3 second delay for runescrafters, this was one of our conserns on the suggestions forums when we where proposing it, but from the way it has been done, I dotn actually notice the differnce. I belive it will cost a diehard runecrafter very little xp per day, although for me, i actually get more as I find it less boring so can do more runs. I understand that it is annoying in some circumstances, but on the whole it's good.

1 May 2007 - Bots and real-world trading
I think Jagex did a great thing with that news post..... it will help the community! I think it is tip.it's, and for that matter jagex'es repsonsiblity to take offencive action against the ads, not just defensive. It's all very well saying "we remove adverts when google put them here" but surly google should have the fasilities to not put ads of a certain type on. Gold sellers are not just breaking the rules, they are infact breaking the law! Google should not allow ad's like this to be hosted by them.

Grrr - I was unfairly muted/banned!
I think you have just proved the point there. You tried a password scam, and so was perm banned. The fact you appealed and it was sucsssful is insignificant. Your appeal was graunted becasue they will have belived what you said as to your motives (or lack of) for what you did. Remores and aploogies are very important.

Grrr - I was unfairly muted/banned!
Sorry but sadly the "lol's" where not captured in the 60 report window that was sent to Jagex. There can only deal with what infomation is given to them, and the probaly had a report with sombody saying "wots your pass?" can you think how that looks? Can I just make a point that a while ago Andrew stated on the offical forums that every week around 8,000 accounts are perminatly banned from the game! This does not include temp bans, or black marks, or mutes. This is just perm bans. I asume alot of these wont ever be appealed as they are auto accounts, but still can you grasp the HUGE work load there? I have been reliably told that Jagex do read every single appeal, and they are taken seriousally, alot of people belive they are just sent an "auto reply" from Jagex, well this is only party true, they have a huge list of premade thoughout replyes that they can offer to a player as a response to their appeal, and most of the time a personalied responce is just not needed. BUT there is always a human pressing the button for what get's said. Mistakes are made now and again (and we hear about most of them) and often the replys arnt word perfect for what is needed, but the vast majority of the customer support offered is good.
