  1. It's not possible to remove the exteror doors in a house, however when you build a room on them the internal ones are not there. Anyway..... you don't wanna let the draft in?

I think (tryng not to generalise) that most people who have a pure (combat not skill) account tend to have a differnt personality type. They are (again not wanting to generalise) on the whole ruder more imature and less understanding people. I would say the adverage pker pure are between the ages on 14-17 are male and American. Sorry guys but the steryotypical american teenage guy is not the most considerate of people. As an account I have no issue with them..... all an account is is a name and a bunch of numbers, although differnt types of peopel are inclined to make differnt types of accounts. It is usually very easy to guess a personality from the number in the highscores.
  3. Over the time preiod a bug happenes you will probaly have an adverage of 300k players ingame (the period would be around 20mins) Is it really fair to set back 300k people by 20 minuites bacause sombody lost somthing? and wht if it's not caught quickly is it far to set back 2....3......4 days.....? I think now.

Wahey! god banning the no hair ones!
  5. But they look cool..... and in a members world thats all that matters :)
  6. Hurray! I'm not the only one! I am always doing it....... I have no idea why I know exactly what they are for.
  7. Woops! sombody forgot to press the button! :P
  8. I mean people rant now, but given time it may even speed up some games, people will just team work, and so are more cooporative. I would love Jagex to change PC again so there is a reasonable chance of protecting the knight without portals..... since the game was released I can only recall hearning of two games where people managed to last the full 20 minuites! it's not reasonbly possible to play the game in that mannor an it's a point that needs investigating. There is also the point of "why woudl you want to?" there needs to be some kind of decent insentive to have such a long game. 300th post!
  9. To be honest with you, as a minigame to assist training combat, I find it fun! it's a good and popular game. If the game was released like this originally there would be no problem with it, and people would accept it as a good balanced game. Removal would be a bad thing and would have a negative effect... would not go down well!
  10. Whoa..... whoa..... whoa! show down there horsey! On the rants forum we dont want "riots" any more than we want them ingame! what we want is clear constructive feedback as to why a person dislikes an ingame feature. It is more of a "game feedback" forum than rants...... it's only usefull if it's constructive, people are too quick to refer people to the forums. Just to be clear I was there.... but I was there reporting and redirecting.
  11. I am sorry but I have no sympathy there.... there is no reason why your brother should have been able to type somthing on your account. You where either account sharing, or left your account loged in (AFK). Even if it was not you who said it, it was still on your aco[bleep] from your IP. I suggest you take some time to read over the rules and check the account security levels. Whilst your are logged in it is your responsibility to keep the account within the rules.
  12. Snail queen is missing? Not really been paying attention to every fmod logging in I shall keep an eye out for you.
  13. Change to fit in? NO Addapt to fit in? Most certainly. It's the role of every long standing player to be acesppted however you should never chane who you are as a person, just change to meet the environment. I personaly like you have addpeted my writting style (although I am still an awfull speller), I also feel I have become a better person..... the me 3 years ago when I started would have never been offered a mod position, I feel I have become a more rounded balanced individual. I feel that with my exposiuse to so many people I have also become a better judge of charicter and more sociable in real life. Yes I play the game too much...... but because of it I also do more in real life, it has improved who I am.
  14. Wrong again... If you appeal that hamburger, not only do you get a real person to speak to about it, but they REMAKE a fresh burger for you. Customer Service... When you pay for a membership for a health club, for example. If you do something against the rules, or maybe a little out of line, they usually give you a warning. They always tell you nicely. THEY NEVER just banned you without explanation, and then tell you TO SIGN up again... Actually in most fast food places they would either rudly tell you to go away or give you another premade one.... they only make from scratch when they dont currently have any made. Back you your view point that every paying member is entitled to a real responce... Every week 8,000 autoers are banned, or these priobaly around 3,000 are members why would they even consider giving them a personal responce?! they aim't never gonna' read it.
  15. I belive they keep a text copy of evey trade for a long period of time for future investigation reasons. The roll back was caused by a server crash not Jagex, basically the game was forced to revert to it's last save point as it could no longer record infomation. EDIT: woops sorry, though I edited my old post rather than making a new one
  16. Thanks for clearing that up. I was reading all the posts wondering how he could have lost it if the game saves every 15 minutes. :) To be honest with you I dont think thats the case here.... I feel that he meant that that was a printscreen of the trade, but the trade had already gone through and they both though they had a party hat. Also i belive jmod have said (in relation to anther subject) that it's impossible to "hack a trade" as the items in the trade window where still saved on the account. I think the trade window can be seen as a shared spilt inventory it recognises whats there and counts it.
  17. why would they rollback then? 30 or 40 people who lost items in the massacre would get their stuff, but thousands of other players would have lost things during the rollback. God... I can't imagine frustration that came if someone beat jad then got rolled back... I belive Jagex have only ever actually done a roll back on purpose once, what happned today was a server crash. There are 8 login servers for the game every player is on one of these servers every 15-20 minuites it backs up each group of players, not all at once though as this would be too much of a big job! One group is saved then 2 minuites later another one is...... etc now when the server crashes it can no longer save the infomation, so it is lost, this means some players may only lose a few second of game play whilst others can lose 20mins! Everything you have done in this time period is wiped for your account, if you died and lost 20mill you will get this 20mill back! HOWEVER if a player on a differt login server picked up this money, then his game was saved before the crash he also keeps the money! The 20mill is esensially duped! now this is basically what happened in this case, however it was the opersite leaving people with nothing..... same prinsible differnt result :(. It's very rare but it's the only time that rares can actually still come into the game! (although you will statistically lose the same amount as you gain.......)
  18. =D> well said. Here is a little situation which you could apply your logic too.... You walk into McDonalds and order a Big Mac, you hand over the money and they hand you a premade burger! But wait that Burger was premade! why did they do that? well....... They COULD have made you a burger from scratch, it would have taken a bit longer but there is no reason why they could not do it. But why would they? you asked for a Big Mac, they gave you a Big Mac. You got exactly what you needed. If we change the situation, a player sends jagex a message asking "why was my account banned for offensive language?"...... this is esentially the customer ordering! Jagex (McDonalds) have no reason to make you a fresh explanation as to why your account was banned, they have done it many times before and know what you want. So they send you a premade message, it's just what the customer ordered! it's an explanation as to why their account was banned....... who gives a damn if the answer was premade or not? they have been told what they want to know. Please note: I in no way condone eating Big Macs :P
  19. Kaspersky recently took over as the market leader for computer security.
  20. sadly yes you esensially have to start the miniquest over.
  21. if it's a repetative hacking it's almost definatly the same person. Set a bank pin so they cant get items when they hack you. also contact jagex and tell them whats happening they will pass the info over to ICU and they will be able to investigate and see who is benifiting from the hack. They will not be able to give any info back but can take action on the hacker. do the obvious of changing password and recovery questions every few days untill the problem stops.
  22. But then more polite players would call the person by their name not by the red number next to it...... As for the first point I have always felt the opersite, by using L33t and shortened words you are stoping less fluent people from reading it..... as they are only able to read proper english.
  23. As a bad speller my self (dyslexic) I hold the stance that as long as people attempt to communicate in propper english I wont hold any spelling errors agains them. Leet and abreviations however are what annoy me, it's lazy and shows no effort to communicate.
  24. All appeals are read by real people, however you must remember bans are only given for set offenses, and with the set offenses there are only so many ways to word the correct reponce..... it is nto so much that they cant give personal responces, it's more that there is no point in doing it! Premade messages just allow jagex to prosess appeals quicker and ensure all the requred infomation is there.... I stress again though, ALL appeals are read by humans.
