Ever Get in Trouble in School?
Hey that's a really good phrase Approximatly # of times in trouble from k-7 (8 in like 2 months) = 67 Yes it is. And it's because of something like that, that I never got in trouble at school :P I knew how to break the rules in such a way that I couldn't be done for it :)

Entropy is a harsh reality - Meaningless life.
Very brilliant, Mad. I've actually referenced him many times during high school :) And Lordhathor, couldn't agree more. Although you really shouldn't take a knife to that island with you -> That's cheating. Make your own :P

Stupidest way you've been injured?
I got pulled backwards off the hand-rails leading down to my schools oval. And the back of my head hit the top of a metal pin which was just sticking out of the wooden retaining wall or whatever it is. Got up, went to smack the person down and was a bit woozy. Looked where I landed and there was all this blood over the wood, put a hand to my head and it was soaked, so i plodded down to the school office (about 300m away) and called my mum to take me to the medical center. Got it stiched up and then 2 days later I was riding home from school.. was almost in the garage at home and my back type burst. wheel went flying out from under me, head smacked into the brick pillar. And because I usually take my helmet off just because I get inside, the back of my head got cut open again. Ironically enough in the same place as the one a few days before, just in the other direction. So I got that patched up and I now have a small T shaped scar there because of it :P

The Open Championship - Golf

my story of woe
Snapped some tendons aye? Damn that would've been painfull. Now how the heck did you manage that? It's hard enough to like dislocate the knee let alone snap tendons in that area :-?

[edited] Random Reboots
Edit: Ok. Got a new PSU after a lot of consultation from tech support. Still randomly rebotos but I have no dram errors anymore. I'm down to two possible reasons now: 1. Windows install is corrupt 2. HDD is failing. If it's #2 I'm going to be really pissed off. Mainly since it will be the second HDD I've gone through in less than 8 months. Chances of that are slim though I'm thinking. Bets on the Windows Install anyone? MemTest ran though 15 times with no errors. Figured it must be fine. Only other possible issue could be dual channel screwing up. But that would blue screen me. I don't get them, it just reboots. Odd stuff really. Any more ideas, I'm stumped past what I said.

Bad haircuts and how we all handled it...
An undercut aye. I've had an undercut for about 10 years :P Cept for one time for my high school graduation... which it was kind of Formal and stuff... I didn't like that :x That's probably my worst haircut. But it kind of suited when I was like in the tux and all, but casual dress was like "ARGH!!!" :(

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
If you're limiting to Depp's acting career to about 6 movies then that's understandable

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
I am yet to read the book. So I figured I might do that at some point if I ever feel like seeing this movie. For all purposes it should be an ok movie. If it follows the book, as claimed, then even better. And do note that the other movie is more of a kids film, so... they probably changed a few things to be... somewhat more accectable or something :P Even if it meant screwing with the plot a bit too much... :dunno:

Wow, They Lock Too Many Topics...Chill You Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No way. I'd rather have one 99 page thread instead of 16 or whatever locked 6 pages threads. There's enough locked topics in OT sometimes as it is without having 4 "versions" of the same topic on the same page. It's a nice concept but it seems that it would get in the way more than assist. @oz: There have been quite a number of users who still remained an active part of the community. But I do share you view about it being somewhat of a big thing to be a mod here. And while on the issue, THE ADMIN NEED TO POST MORE :P Like the mods post often enough but sometimes I think the admin are kind of sitting up there with their ban stick or whatever smacking the naughty people too a little too often :P I could pick about 7 current staff who without the moderator rank would appear to be normal users. But the majority kind of stick out :-? Maybe it's just because I know what to expect but there's some about being a mod on these forums which tends to cut 'activeness' as a normal user back too much for my liking...

Leaked screenies of the newest Windows, codename: longhorn
And from the looks of things their tabbing still sucks anyways.

Stupidest way you've been injured?
I fractured my pinkie "catching" a Vortex once. You know those foam football shaped things with the tail bit on the end? Yeah, anyhow I jumped for the catch, and it hit the side of my hand. Took me 3 weeks to notice anything odd when I couldn't bend my finger and more. Got it exrayed and it was almost healed...

Friends don't let friends...
tell me about it my sis had 800 :x cant believe it I was in a lecture one day (do note that I study IT) and some dude in front of me started up Ad Aware to do a scan. And the number of found items just kept ticking over the entire time of the scan. At the end of it he had like 3000+ items  It was kind of disturbing coming off an IT studen'ts laptop aswell... Like you'd think they'd know how to protect themself :-? *sigh* Some people are just :\

when you grow up, what will you be?
That's speculation. Contract work is generally reserved for those who work for companies which create custom software solutions for clients and such similar situations. But even then you still have a full-time job working for your company. Only other option I see is just general contract work where they only need a person for a set period of time. And even then those are going for 6 months+ at a time :-? Cliffs: Contract work is generally good for people entering the field, after that getting a full-time job should not be a problem. Yes the job market is very good. And see my above reply to the rest of that quote. I actually wrote an essay on that to a point. The general output in the world of jobs is: Experience + Degree > Expreience > Degree > Highschool > Nothing

when you grow up, what will you be?
1. Web Applications Developer 2. Network Admin Those are the main two that I'm aiming for. If that doesn't work all too well then something in Advertising or Television / entertainment wouldn't be too bad.

on car stereos...
Couldn't agree more. If you want to put a sub in the boot, you better not do it yourself. Unless you happen to do such mods for a living... and given your post. You don't :P

Wow, They Lock Too Many Topics...Chill You Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Personally, when I was modding, I let some border-line things slide for a while to see which direction they would go in. And it was a fairly good 50:50 spread of needing to lock to leaving them open. I quite liked it that way. And would really like to see some mods, specially those not very active in OT to hold their trigger finger a bit sometimes. Not to say the mods are heavyhanded, just take a step or two back and wait a bit before locking perhaps? There's enough people on OT who have the ability to turn a post around and most of the time people don't even get that chance :-? It's kind of a trust issue IMO. But then again, jugement calls and some topics just shouldn't be left open. Cliffs: Wait a bit on border line topics before locking please :D
