I should have said nobody is funny on the internet. I mean, sure there are a few witty and creative things here and there that make me smile but the ratio of funny:non-funny is ridiculous. There's the fact that everyone and their dog takes a shot at it and the majority of internet jokes just suck horrendously. Not everyone is funny so I don't understand why everyone tries. And the thing is, they recycle the same stuff over and over again without putting in any application of their own. The whole atmosphere of the internet is pretty much nothing but unoriginal mindlessness and "randomness" (it's not even really random because it's the same damn repetitive formula) now thanks to things like 4chan. Are memes really supposed to be funny? So yeah, even if there is good humor it gets filtered out by all the lolcats and :twss: 's. I guess what I'm trying to say is net humor doesn't even hold a candle to real life humor. The internet raped humor. Wow, this is something that annoys the hell out of me and I didn't even do that intentionally.

Now that you mention it, it would also be pretty interesting to have a poll for religion specifically. :)

Haha, circle [bleep]. That was funny. And I agree with you on that one. Take Lenin for example. Nearly 2 years in and 6055 posts. Most of which are just random and sometimes plain weird. However Rebdragon is actually hilarious. Watching him tussle with idiotic users is a form of entertainment in itself. :thumbup: Nobody is funny on TIF. Not even me. Seems like she is the one wearing the pants in your relationship. It's supposed to be mutual - not just her calling the shots. You need to change this, which of course can ultimately lead to a breakup but that's not necessarily a bad thing. If she will break up with you unless everything goes her way, then maybe the break up is what's best. So yeah, either stop letting her be the boss or breakup with her or deal with being the woman in the relationship. It's up to you.

Yeah, good point. The risks involved are part of what being a level 3 skiller or pure is all about.

I completely agree with the first two points, but as for the last, I don't see a problem with grinding. Whether you train for money, skill/quest requirements, or for just achieving a level goal it's really all the same. You can't put an absolute value on those. You might see the quest requirement as more important than the other things, but someone else might feel that achieving the level goal is the more important one.

I thought I was the only one crazy about socks. I like them when they come out of the dryer. They are so white and fresh. Nothing like a good old pair of socks in the morning. Take them off? I hate that. It makes me feel vulnerable to spiders.

Yeah, I don't really believe in internet reputations. I pay attention to what is being said more than I care about who is saying it.

Yes, there is a difference, but the point is that I am not personally interested in either of them, so why should I be expected to want it to happen again? If that example isn't good enough, make her 40 years old then. I'm still less than half her age but relationships like that do exist. It's not like I have any resentment towards the woman or the gay person - I just don't feel comfortable if they were to hit on me. Some lesbians don't like it when straight guys ask them out. What's the difference? They're allowed to not like it, but I'm not?

Sports were just an example. There are other non-physical things that people compete with all the time such as boardgames. And who are you to say they feel no reward? I was proud of myself when I got 99 Hunter. Yeah, I know it's nerdy but it still gives you a feeling of accomplishment, much like winning a game of checkers. Competition doesn't only have to be physically rewarding - it can be psychologically rewarding too.

And I have too. But there's a world of difference between saying you got hit on by someone gay before and saying that all gays like you. I know that... All I was saying was that I'd rather it not happen again. Should I want it to happen again? Because by telling me I'm full of myself, homophobic, and insecure about my sexuality just because I didn't like getting hit on by gay people, it sure seems like it. That's fine, but answer me this. How do you feel about me not liking it if an 80-year-old woman hit on me? What am I then? Agephobic?

Stop making assumptions about my character. A gay guy flat out told me he liked me. How is that being full of myself? Another one played with my hair. I guess I'm just being optimistic, right? I never said every gay guy wants me - I only pointed out that some did and I don't want it to happen again. It's not just gays though. I would be pretty turned off if a 80-year-old female hit on me too. Maybe this suggests I'm insecure about my age, huh? So yeah, stop making yourself look like an idiot. Just because I think anime is gay doesn't mean to follow me around and disagree with me on everything. :) That's very childish and sad.
