  1. Absolute favorite? Hmm...probably the new Pandora Hearts at a perfect 10. Close at a slim 9.9 is Naruto Shippuden. At 9.8 would be Spiral: Bonds of Reasoning. Maybe 9.8 as well or 9.85 would be Trinity Blood. At 9.7 is Elfin Lied. Then I jump down to 9.5 to Japanese dub of Yugioh 5ds. Yes, it's a good anime. Anybody who thinks otherwise just doesn't like the concept of minions fighting of any kind or just thinks 4kids translates and doesn't mutilate plots. Finally, at 9 would be Blood+ and the first season of Zero no Tsukaima. The series just went downhill after that for some reason. Eking out a slim 8.5 is Rosario+Vampire S1. At 7.7 is Vampire Knight (both seasons were roughly the same). Pretty much everything else at that point is not worth mentioning because it just barely makes not mentioning or just plain sucks. I haven't mentioned classics like FMA because i haven't watched/finished them. Quite frankly, I'm too lazy
  2. A society that can post this without feeling the need to /facepalm
  3. banned for overuse of that obnoxious hue of purple in sig.
  4. I could prove you right, but then I might flamed :-# . Blizzard is actually comprised of Jagex employees which explains why Jagex does little to no advertising.
  5. What ever gave you that idea? Why do all overly complex SAT math questions equal 1?
  6. Music that pumps me? I mean the music that amplifies the blood rush when I'm pking?: Ghost Love Score by Nightwish; Bombshell by Powerman 5000; Die MF Die by Dope; Push It by Static-X Stuff to just get energetic: Nemo by Nightwish; Prince by Versailles; Zombi by Versailles; Inside the Fire by Distrubed; Various songs from Rise Against (too many to list :-# ) Stuff to do gwd or dungeons on WoW: Entire "Noble" album by Versailles. Nothing else 8-) (especially in Heroic Old Kingdom; nothing beats killing undead spiders trying to suck your vital juices while listening to Japenese heavy metal)
  7. It's been like that since RS2, it was even included as a feature of agility in the agility guide, all of a sudden a few years later it's unfair? Do you ever think for yourself? Or do you simply trust every single thing Jagex ever says to you? Your teachers must love you. Err no they are NOT putting out regular content this year. Stop being delusional. They did all of these little fixes last year as well AND they put out regular content. This year has been horrible for new content so far. Considering that we are customers and lying to us would be VERY disadvantageous, I would say that you can trust everything that Jagex says, but you need to look at a things at an odd angle for about 1 or 2% of the content. For example, as far as we know, Jagex had always viewed agility on f2p as unfair but because the code for reprogramming agility to only affect members was so complex that it sank to the bottom of the to-do list until Jagex sucked it up and said, "Hey, we need to do this, PRONTO." Is it really that hard to give the benefit of the doubt? Players don't seem to realize that Jagex programs Java. Java does not merely include runescape. Java in computers, Java in phones, Java in other games licensed by other companies but leased by Jagex. We are but a microcosm of the scheme of Java. MG said he's got lots of stuff to sign. It's probably what I just stated. And yes, we get several updates a month, about 1 per week on average with a major content update about 1 every 3 weeks. That's very dedicated (and regular) in my experience.
  8. I guess I'll try to reply as well. I thought this thread was dead months ago. If we did that (which most people do), then ranters would say the following: "Look how many people are ranting on the forums! That must EVERYBODY is ranting" when clearly we are doing what you said. We people are not anti-ranters. I have placed rants before. But I also try to make a sound argument. And if I have my rant torn apart I get frustrated but am also mature enough to say, "I was wrong, you were right." If want you're doing does nothing for the discussion (beating a dead, rotting, fly-eaten horse) because you are reiterating arguments that have been dissected and proven wrong. If all someone did would reiterate an argument that was sound even after the affair was done and over with, we would still be saying, "SHUT UP." No one likes to talk about the past except people who are stuck in the past. You lost your credibility there. Opinions by definition are true statements. "I believe the sky is blue." Regardless if the sky is blue or not, the statement is true simply because I believe it. When you argue opinions, you are basically stating your beliefs, which is not a discussion; it's an preacher on a soapbox. Which reminds me, not many people like hearing preachers on soap boxes either. Rachet is quite right for asking you the question. I believe you were the one posing the question when he quoted, but I could be wrong (too lazy to look during this response :wall: ). And quite often, he who smelt it dealt it, for lack of more eloquent words. We could get into a philosophical discussion into this; Crito is a good place to start if you want to. "Plenty" is very loose, like "good", or "bad". Give some hard core statistics or ratios of people who bought accounts:people who did not to make a good argument. Otherwise, there's no point in addressing this facet. Gravestones that last even if you disconnect. It's almost impossible to lose items now. It's a SAFE game. Really? I'm not being sarcastic, but do you have personal experience or patch notes to back that up? And you can still lose items in the spirit beast fight and gwd still have risk because if you don't have the items already in your bank to replace after dying, you have to restock and then slay 40 monsters while also assuming that no one else dies. It's hard to lose items, but not impossible. So, why don't people complain about horrific events that happen in history? Maybe because they can't change? And again, opinions can't be argued. You weren't able to buy or sell pre-GE but lots of people were, I loved trading pre-GE, it was much easier to actually buy the bulk of what is needed. The GE is convenient and I wouldn't want it gone, but pre-GE trade was player organized and worked as well. Buying items and what not for barrows run or slayer assignments was easy, I have to say that. Rachet, you just have bad experience, I guess :|. As for actually merchanting, my head spun ten times before I got a feel on when thigns were rising. The G.E. is a great addition to the game. If I want a complete player run economy (and I mean COMPLETE), I'll go play EVE online. Why all the anti-wildy hate -.- If jagex decided to take out F2P and make RS members only people would rant because what they did on a game was taken away. I'm not sure what you're talking about. You can still pvp on Bh worlds and normal pvp worlds. Bh worlds are pretty much the same as the old wild save for 76kers (they really need to implement some design that prevents people from attacking players that have a much higher equipment value than they do (not counting stackables)while still being able to be attacked.) If you mean about how noobish the pking community has become, then don't blame jagex, blame players, unless you want Jagex to get inside our minds and control the way we behave on pvp worlds, right?

    New Animations

Excuse me i like the sausage links they were very tasty. But how did you feel smacking a Greater Demon in the face with said sausage links... lol I pwned fine. Also if you're lost you can eat it as a last resort. Unless you got it from your abyssal minion :(
  10. Yeah. Jagex should rework their drop list of monsters. Nuke all the drops of food, jewelry, and other stuff that are supposed to be made by skills, or AT THE VERY LEAST lower them to a point that it is inefficient. The problem with that is now that the drop tables only hold cash and/or untradeables (since the raws aren't drops any more), you would have a massive drop in supply driving price up with a massive influx of liquefied gp entering the game (causing massive inflation and driving the price up further (assuming that you don't change the average drop value of the monster.)) Another note on that: since gp is the standard, gold as a currency has to change with the market; a monster can't drop only 100 gp every time because of the supply/demand wave. Because stock or items in this case fluctuates, a drop that's 100 gp on day will be automatically alter itself through natural economic means without Jagex interfering to "re-balance" the tables (which I believe they have in the past.) A drop that is 100 gp will always stay 100 gp until Jagex changes it. Ironically, even though it's the standard, gold's value changes constantly because of inflation/deflation.

    GAAAAAH!

Lol. I actually didn't go into wild, I just home tele'd to edgeville thinking I could make it the 3 steps there without getting massacred. Obviously, I thought wrong. And besides, I was just venting my frustration then. Frustration over and gone, no need for this topic any more. Dude, Edge in pking is like wallstreet for trading. That's almost like saying in caps: "KILL ME! I HAS A BLUE PHAT AND 2^32-1 GP ON ME! I'M ALSO SKULLED AND HAVE 0 PRAYER POINTS LEFTS WITH NO-" At that point, you'd be dead. Yeah, I think I know that now. -.- Then go to your first post and edit the title to: "I know now, please lock" ;)

  13. After the decision for yet another dump and slump (dump the whole story and slump over the paper, writing from scratch/tweaking majorly), I decided to write the following. It is 4 full-length Word pages. I just want to know if I made the characters likeable or not. Whether or not they're fleshed out yet is unimportant to me at this point. All who read get a free e-cookie. All who read and post something constructive get a free e-cookie and a free e-waffle All who read and then post that they want a cookie with no feedback get an e-mushroom -.- FFS, it had tabs where I pasted it. Oh well, I don't want to hurt my readers' eyes D:.
  14. heh, I think I know where you got some of the names ;) . Pretty like-able characters. Distinct personalities. Better than cookie cutters. Could be more specific with the first history lesson. Try to make up your mind if it's a bio or a recap. I got the feel of a bio in the first paragraph, but then it went into a sort of recap like a summary. The biggest change was less specification from one to the other. My suggestion would be to put specific events in the second part (intoducing the next character) if you're going for a bio. I reread the parts and noticed that you are actually very specific in some cases. Forgive me, it's almost 11 where I am >.<. The double-spaced wall of doom consisting almost entirely of quotations hurts my eyes. What the trade off between the characters implies is a courtroom style debate where people take turns speaking. This is rarely the case in real life. Also, the trade off is monotonous. More non-dialogue text like the one near the end would spice it up a little. Unless you are a very cryptic writer, I suggest to stay away from dialogue walls. If you break from the normal ABAB pattern, the audience could get confused.
  15. If you started on p2p at lvl 3 and trained slayer right from the start and never did anything else, you could easily get 99 slayer as long as you a) do soul wars and select slayer as rewards occasionally B) use controlled style for melee and then switch to a cannon after you have enough money c) spend penguin points and lamps on slayer. The problem is getting the resources to be prepared for those trials :-k.
  16. Is it really that OP? They're taking relatively fast damage and can't reenter after X amount of time. It takes skill to time it just right. Are you saying skill is OP in FoG?
  17. 1. Talking to a guy who would cosplay here 2. love some rest just sucks horribly 3. Don't know what that is; time for urban dictionary :D 4. If you mean like [any]core porn, fair enough. If you mean hardcore or softcore mind sets, I believe you are either one or the other due to personality traits (e.g. hardcore or softcore gamer, writer, worker, etc.) Here's Corps if you mean the military. Other than that, I don't know what you're talking about. 5. Agreed. Never have, never will 6. I buy some shirts from Hollister. Meh, so-so 7. It's fun until you get completely owned by someone; no way to recover D: 8. If you like pvp a lot, it's for you. It's also for you if you want to go from 1-80 in less than 3 months (now it's probably like less than 2 months with patch 3.2 out). I would never get into: Twilight (plenty of guys who "like" Twilight to attract chicks), chick-flicks for dates, grand theft auto, excessive violence in some games for no reason (is there any sound reason why someone would want to cut an npc in half using a chain saw?O.O), emoness. that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Time for teh UD voyage! edit: shoegazing = too calm for me. Rather be listening to Versailles than this crap.
  18. lol! thats the best one so far. If you mean "as long as she's not an Edward fangirl," yes, that is the best one so far. But actually, Edward can be killed in two way: 1. dismembered and parts burned (What happened to James) 2. This Prefer this to the first one. Kills two birds with one stone. Only reason I know 1. is because my best friend won't keep still about Carlysle and I wouldn't keep my curious mouth shut.
  19. Honesty and understanding. I want to be able to know I trust my friend (or girlfriend for that matter), but also I want to know I can spill my guts and they won't judge me. As for the third one? A good head on someone's shoulders. I don't want to have to go to the doctor because I happen to have a red mark with the imprint of my own palm on my face after excessive /facepalms.
  20. 7 words can't be said on Us television by law. Anything else, you just need to slap on a "ESRB" like rating on thetop left hand corner and you're safe. You might lose views with different demographics, but it's legal.
  21. 1. YES 2. No 3. We can, but it's like stealing monsters in runescape; it's rude but legal.
  22. 1. Write my Cycle. I got 1/2 of the first story down and a strong foundation for the 2nd book ^_^. Completely revising my stories aren't helping the completion date though :wall: 2. Fall in love. I hate fishbowl environments, don't you? :| 3. Find a guy IRL whose name is Edward Cullen and do the Dane Cook joke for superman: shoot him with a gun and say, "I guess not  " (Not really seriously, but I would definitely ask if I could punch him in the face to see if I break my hand.) 4. Save someone's life without getting killed in the process. 5. Be like Socrates and be the wisest man in the world \ .
  23. One last reminder: Merchanting is not manipulation. They are not synonyms. Saying this is like saying the cannons in BA make you lose points.
