Computer Decision Help Please
These days it's not the processor that bottlenecks the performance but the hard drive and graphics cards for games.

Computer Decision Help Please
I'd go with the Lenovo. Their build are usually sturdy and the laptop will last you a long time. Alienware's boost wont help you that much, and you'll be paying more for the brand than anything else. Also they tend to break pretty fast.

Detached Head Bug?
I thought this was fixed. Haven't seen one of those in about a month. Used to see this all the time.

RS and Bandwith
Streaming in HD is even more bandwidth than that.

Preparation for EoC live?
What do you guys think will happen with dragon armor, I heard it wouldn't be a good armor at all anymore, I mean less than what it is now. Do you guys think it's going to go that way? Only started trying the beta today.

Buying a pc monitor
I've had my 22" for 3 years now, it's an Acer and it's been even better than my 21.5" HP screen (on a dual screen setup with screens that have a different age). Unless it's a no-name brand, just look at what general quality and resolution you have.

System Update 31/10/2012
The game is up again. Maybe a restart of all the servers that caused us to all be kicked from lobby?

Keyboard Shortcut
If I'm not mistaken, this option is only available on keyboards that come with their own drivers that will let you do that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Today...
I think I have an idea, but I wont guess just yet. And me, today was a pretty bad day. Waited for hours at the clinic and got a $120 prescription... Being a student, that's 2 week's worth of food, and I didn't have insurance to help me pay it either. I guess I'm going to have to find a job, even though jobs are extremely rare in this part of the province, even in fast foods.

You're not the only one with this problem. I've been trying to get my modem replaced for over a year with my ISP, but I pretty much gave up about a year ago (although I still ask to have it replaced everytime I need to call them). I'm not using my ISP's modem but a computer with PfSense installed on it, to act as a router/modem and firewall, since not any router could do it, as the fiber here is on vlan 35. The modem they gave me can't go faster than 7Mb/s and needs to be reset everyday in order to work. I have a 50Mb/s down and 30Mb/s up connection.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
You should have told him. Actually I think it's only in small places like here that you can actually do that.. How was Taken 2? Haven't seen it yet but I want to go watch it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Should probably go in the MW2 thread though. Still, It's much easier for them to fix something that small than changing the big stuff like OMA and other stuff. And I find it hilarious how we don't say anything and then they complain because of something about their religion for something that's that small...

Randox, now you're making me feel old lol... Why would you feel old when you wake up or try to stay up all night? I don't have any issues doing both of these and I'm 25. Also, my youngest brother's car's engine blew up yesterday night on the highway, about 20 minutes from his destination... Lost some parts on the highway too.. It was a Toyota Corolla 2003 which surprises me, usually Toyotas laste quite a long time it was just over 300 000 km. Even my 11 year old Echo doesn't have much issues at all, I only put $500 on my car this year to pass the yearly inspection and will only have to replace parts for the next yearly inspection.

HP Pavilion Mx70 Monitor problem
Sounds like the monitor isn't getting the signal from the computer. Have you made sure the video cable is correctly attached to both the monitor and the computer? Have you tried another monitor (you can borrow it from a friend if they want) to make sure it wasn't the computer that's not sending a signal to the monitor? It isn't impossible that a part in the monitor itself failed, seeing as it is a model that is at least 12 years old.
