I think having it work with points is much better than just killstreaks. This creates a balance between objective players and players that just go for kills. Everyone will be able to get "killstreaks" this way, not just those that play for kills and not for the ojbective. Yes there are some exceptions that can both play the objective and get actual killstreaks, I do that often when playing games such as cod4, but for the most parts, I think basing this on a point system creates more balance than just guns.

Funny how the grass went from a dry-yellow color to green in only a couple of days of rain O.o Hadn't had rain since late june, which is very unusual, but now the forecast is of rain for pretty much the whole week. Looks like temperatures are getting back to normal.

Yeah, I've seen some gameplay from tejbz and some more news from Woodysgamertag, and the game actually looks like it might be more interesting than any other cods since cod4 (which I still play almost daily). Actually it looks like Black Ops 2 is a whole other game that they just slapped "call of duty" on for the sales, but I guess we'll see.

Hi detection looks like it's much better than in the first Black Ops, unfortunately it sounds like the sound is still as sluggish.

Actually, being both a PC and console gamer myself, I can say that price has nothing to do with why I chose to play on the computer or the Xbox360. I have 2 computers able to play any game that is out right now (one desktop that is 3 years old, and one laptop that is 1 year old), and a 360. I usually will go with what feels good between the computer and the xbox for what games I get. For games like cod, it's going to be the xbox of course because of the sheer amount of people that plays it which is much lower on pc, but then again, I don't really car if the game is on pc or xbox, it all comes to the same, and most people are probably like me, they don't care about the price.

Finally some rain! It's been like since the beginning of June we didn't have any. Took less than a day for the grass to go back to 3/4 green (from yellow dry color).

With this you get what you pay for (for 1.) but if you know someone that has a capture card like that, you can ask them. I've done it for people that needed to do some similar things using my hauppauge hd pvr, which even if it isn't in hd, will give a better picture. Because of the price though, if you don't have any friends with a capture card already, you can go with the option already provided by Sy_Accursed.

Yeah but there was a lot of ranting on mw2. This year, there wasn't that much ranting about mw3 so to me it just means it's a better game for a lot of people, but I've had fun in all cod games (except black ops) that I played so far.

You guys should look at the woodysgamertag trailer breakdown, he explains what he understood really well. A max of 2 perks of the same color, a max of 3 weapon attachments, and you can have six perks and just the knife if you want, but I think they got rid of the panic knife though. You guys think there's enough discussion about BO2 to warrant its own thread?

I've been experiencing some slowness lately, not sure if it's related to this new layout but it was pretty fast before the upgrade. Now it can sometimes take a full minute to load pages. Edit: Has the problem been fixed? All of a sudden it's pretty fast again O.o. I'll see when I get up tomorrow I guess.

Looking at that trailer, I hope there's going to be conditions to get some of the stuff we see in it, otherwise it's going to be a very annoying game, and one more reason I won't be buying it.
