Damn... Watch out for the fever, some people can have fever after burning pretty bad.

Guys, there are legitimate ways to have free Windows keys, you just have to know how to. I used to be able to get them through college but not anymore.
  3. Tried it for a week, and just couldn't stand how it looks, plus a few other facts. It was also unstable when I tried it, but that probably changed.
  4. The new version of Firefox annoys the hell out of me. It's as if I just installed it every single time I have to start it again, and that includes when it crashes. At least it's still on Version 10 on my laptop, which I'm getting the files to revert from 13.1 on my desktop back to 10. Why can't they program their browser as it should be, Firefox is like IE when I switched browsers, but now I don't know which browser to go to since I hate Chrome, and Opera is too clutered. Guess I might be going back to IE, but I swore never to go back to that browser.
  5. I agree with the clean install, if there are backups of the important files and and what you need, a clean install is the way to go. Assuming that you can still see the key on the sticker on your computer (usually called COA sticker), you can download the corresponding version's ISO directly from Microsoft (or their links to digital river) and use the key that's on the sticker on your computer. This website has listed the .iso files that you can burn or make a usb stick installer for Windows 7, just pick the one that's on your sticker so that the key you have is a legal one. http://forum.noteboo...sta-before.html

People actually pay for those? I have like... 4 free Win7 keys. I used to be able to get them for free through college but not anymore. At least it's not the full retail price, I usually go OEM.

The failure rate was for the first year or so, they fixed their issue pretty quickly. I don't know where you overpaid for your graphics card, but my ~$100 graphics card plays all the games I have thrown at it at the highest graphical settings. Also the Xbox360 isn't anywhere close to what you think they are. They are actually $200 which is a lower amount than any computer I could build, especially when $150 of it is taken up by the Windows key.
  8. Portal 2 FTW. Now instead of just playing it on the Xbox I can make maps for just $5 more, on the computer.

Looking for something to do... I have nothing to do and I'm also trying to find a game that I would find fun to play more often than mw3.

Right on that, I built my PC 3 years ago for $700 and it still plays every game I throw at it at the highest setting with a great FPS amount. Thing is, I still prefer consoles.
  11. If you have another computer you can download it onto a usb drive and install it on the infected computer. Also a reason chrome might not be working is because the date/time/year might not be correct, so see if your calendar changed at all. To get out of safemode simply follow the same steps above and deselect safemode, it should boot normally. IMO just remove that fingerprint scan password whatever until this is resolved, it seems like a nuisance at this point. He doesn't have the password so he can't do that. I do know a way that you could get in, but I can't say it because it's not legal.
  12. Don't try to install AVG, it's one of the worst antiviruses out there. Try to install Malwarebytes and see if it works. Also I would do it in safe mode with networking. Scan with Malwarebytes and a good antivirus (such as Avast or MSE). Oh, I just read that you can't get into safe mode. Just ask for the password so you can get into safe mode, but why would you need the password if you don't need it in normal mode? Or just add a new admin account with a password you would know before doing this.

You should have bought the Galaxy S 3 or something instead of the phone you chose. You're going to regret it soon, it's the phone we had when I worked and was on call, and it is the worst smartphone I have ever used.

Well, 3 AM, I guess I'll call it a night. Going to have one last try to get back the information I had on that hard drive, tomorrow, but I have probably lost that 900GB of information. Good thing there was nothing important on there, it was just some storage of stuff I can get back easily.

Worst day ever.. First I drop my external HDD, so it doesn't work anymore, now my touchpad on my laptop doesn't work (which I do know how to fix) and I'm not having any fun on the xbox right now. Pretty much going to be costly replacing that external hdd and fixing the laptop...
  16. Yes prestiging will reset everything except titles, emblems, and some challenges. Just like in pretty much all the cods.

I thought this thread was locked? Also I just skimmed over the last post, but I wanted to point this out: Crappy community I hope you're joking. Console communities are just awful. Last time I played COD, someone felt the need to call me a "[bleep]ing [bleep] who likes to [bleep] your dad" and reminded me that "I [bleep]ed your mom last night and she liked it. Tell her the tip is under the pillow". When I play any PC game with the exception of LoL, the community is far more mature. It looks like you're judging the PC community by the less mature players in Runescape. It looks like you're judging he console community by the less mature players in COD.
  18. I agree with removing the aim assist, it's been putting me off target for a few days now, I don't know what they did in the last update. Also for the knife what I think would fix it is that you would have to switch to it.

I haven't seen Premetheus yet, and they're not playing it anymore at the cinema here >.< 1 warning point here, for something that isn't against the rule or illegal lol.
  20. Well for the fans I was just asking if you could hear them, but from what I see, you can't because of the air conditionning lol.
  21. When you try to turn it on, do the fans turn? If it's the case, I'm leaning towards an experience I had myself when my old computer was 5 years old. Check with only one stick of RAM in there and see if you get anything. If it doesn't work use another stick.

Forums are back, but I don't really like the way they made this new version :S.

Then just don't go past 11 in those times.. It's his fault he didn't tell you prior to your shift. You should've told him that you had something planned and that if he wanted you to go until 4 AM he should've told you earlier.

I think it's a bit low to make a thread like this. Everyone has opinions and it looks like this thread is as low as the computer gamers that were trying to push their opinion down our throats.
