Depends what you wanna do but yeah that is enough Mac OSX worked fine on my old 4gb DDR2 running in a virtual machine I suggest VMWare or VirtualBox Never VMWare. Go with VirutalBox. I've had a hell of a bad experience with VMWare for 2 years at college. Unfortunately I was forced to use it, but still went around their stuff and had another copy running on VirtualBox which was much faster and didn't crash. Btw this was XP on a virutal machine with Vista as host OS as Windows 7 wasn't out yet.

Firefox will have no problem running on this if you do put a linux distro. But as far as that goes, I would go in the smallest Distros you can find.

To run a Mac OS, you have to be on a mac. There are ways to do it but it still isn't really stable afterwords. And I believe the latest is 10.6 Snow Leopard, but I might be wrong since it's been out for a while already.

Well, since they started rolling back the levels people stopped caring, they'll bot to get resources and won't care about losing the levels, take my friend for example, he got his mining rolled back before he got 99, but didn't care as he had 100m banked and said he would continue botting. If they were a real secret group, there wouldn't be a lot of evidence about anything to do with them. It seems like a way of taunting, there's information that they exist but beyond that there is no more information, besides peoples theories. My sister believes everything is like the one trick where someone says "watch what I do with this hand" and that person does something else with their other. Is your computer running well without blue screens now? that blue screen had to do with the hard drive driver.

Man you guys are lucky to have so much snow... Here in New Brunswick we're only getting snow now, but it's not even 5 inches high... We did get record rainfalls though, with 173mm or rain here in 24h and in Gaspé, which is north of this province, they had 213mm of rain in 48h, which means lots of flooding and washed out roads, and since we're in Canada they won't be able to fully repair until the winter's over.

Why don't you plug it to your computer via USB?

Right now there's no snow in the south of New Brunswick Canada. There's always snow at this time.

Aftermath of all that wind and rain: Lots of people without power, up to 173mm of rain at some places, some roads have been washed out, some bridges still underwater. That's really not the temperature we get here in December. Nova Scotia got the worst of it I believe.

The weather here in New Brunswick Canada isn't what it should be. Second windstorm with lots of rain, we never get that, yet a few weeks ago we had a huge rainstorm that dropped up to 321 mm of rain in some parts of the province, causing floods, and now we have another one currently with very high winds and a forecast of 80mm rain where I live, but 130 at some places, and that over 2 days. Oh, and high tides as well I think last week from the ocean, especially at the north, washed out some roads. Usually at this time of the year we have a few feets of snow.

Depends what kind of lag as well, is it just clicking and taking time to respond or is it actual framerate lag?

Are all your drivers up to date? tripsis, I only suggested that safari was the issue seeing as many mac users had told others to use Firefox because of that.

As long as you have anti-static or that you touch the case all that time, there shouldn't be much danger of frying a part. There's also no danger of putting the old HDD in simply like that, it'll still boot in Vista.

Use Firefox instead of Safari. For some odd reason it doesn't work on Safari for Mac.

On which website? If it's on youtube, it's been happening to me on a few different browsers. Is your flash up to date?

Adblock for chrome doesn't block them but just hides them, unlike in Firefox where it blocks them. As for me, I use firefox 3.6.7, might be upgrading to Firefox 3.6.12 but will not upgrade to Firefox 4 because they got rid of the status bar which was extremely useful. Its okay. I refused to enter the Firefox bandwagon for years. IE's good for some, not good for others. I liked IE until I found out that there were other browsers, which is quite a while back. Firefox was the one I chose because it was the one that fit my needs the best although for a while I had used Opera before going for Firefox.

Newer Dells fail pretty often, old Dells were the best computers. Your computer is likely to fail in the next 4 months from what I see by experience. If it doesn't then you're good to go. Of course it's going to be a hell of a step up from a 2002 computer, but you could've got much better than that.

I would stay away from Dell, and Asus is currently the best brand. Also, monitors aren't that expensive, I got my secondary, which is 22" 1080p for $180 CAD, which is even less in USD.

Then you're a freak of nature. I used to drink tons of milk, but over the past year or so I've become increasingly lactose intolerant, until now I only have it on cereal and stuff, and it makes me feel unpleasant. Before I became lactose intolerant, I used to drink tons of milk but now I drink soy milk so I don't have trouble. The way I link it to you is that it was because I was feeling unpleasant after drinking milk, and it took quite a long time before I realized. Soy milk is [bleep]ing disgusting. I started drinking it because some Asian girlfriend of my uncle's said it would get rid of my acne. Good thing he dumped her. I am confused, and amused by this statement. You're glad he dumped her, because you don't like soy milk? Pro. I used the part of his statement where he says it's disgusting, not the part where he dumped her. I don't care about the girlfriend dumping part, it's his choice to do that or not, I have no judgment to do on that -> No I'm not glad.
