    Today...

Came back from work at 1 AM.. Lol, at least that means more than 40 hours of work this week, which means overtime! On the other hand, winter conditions right now and extremely slippery. First time ever I get feedback from the abs brakes, as I've only had this car since the summer, and the old echo didn't have abs brakes. Didn't know what to expect.

Quite an amazing model too, I have the same one although my motherboard isn't able to power the fan anymore (I don't have adapters to power the fan directly from the power supply). The sheer size of the heatsink is enough to keep my processor running at ~30 Celsius. Provided I haven't turned on the heat in my appartment yet so most of the time it's 17 Celsius in my appartment.

Happens to me a couple of times a year. Never understood why either.

Going on a Doctor who marathon (the new ones, since 2005) before the 50th aniversary episode (yeah I love that show), and the akward moment I realize the doctor actualy says YOLO in series 6 episode 2.. LOL
  5. I agree with that too. Also seems they were lazy on some maps. Just look at StrikeZone and Dome from MW3. Same map layout.
  6. I'm not one for road rage, I just continue on my way, but there are quite annoying drivers blocking you from where you have to go and stuff. Then again I've seen 2 rear-ends in the last 3 days.
  7. The fact that Google keeps changing youtube, and not in a good way, annoys the hell out of me. Latest change: Comments now use Google+ on Youtube and you can't comment if you don't link a Google+ account to Youtube.
  8. Is your computer a prebuilt computer? (one that you buy, not one that you build). If it's the case, it's probably the power supply that's not strong enough as companies only put what is needed, which means that you probably would have to upgrade the PSU to a more powerful one (PSU = Power Supply, not the computer case) to be able to run a videocard like this one as it seems like the computer isn't getting enough power.
  9. Plugging the VGA cables in the PSU? What? And why would you use VGA instead of DVI cables? Was there a videocard already in the computer or were you using the onboard video (if it has one)? And what do you mean by no boot? Are the fans turning on or not?
  10. Is it bad that I haven't played Pokemon since the Silver version? Looks quite interesting with these new versions, do they work with the first generation DS? I have a first generation from 2003 and can't really afford a new DS right now.

How do you keep finding these? Everytime you post one I check just for the sake of it, and then get stuck on the game. Haha.
  12. Damn bushfires, read about them and they seem quite extreme.
  13. You won't have any trouble with that laptop for the current RS.

That's not the worse. I have a 100mb limit with Telus. I pay $48 a month for 100 minutes, 100mb and unlimited texts. What's funny is that it should be $50 minimum because I have a smartphone.
  15. Devnull, an i5 should suffice in this day and age. i7 is for very heavy programs. HTML5 is very far from being optimized. I can't wait until we see the actual specs it'll need when it's out of beta.
  16. That sucks. I had to work 7.5 hours in the middle of the week (my daily hours during the week) under quite heavy fever because of the cold, so it could be even worse for you here :\.
  17. It's not GTA online that sucks, it's people playing it. Can't play in freemode without someone Killing me unless I'm in a game set to only allow friends/Crew.
  18. The more you wait, the less chances you have to get your file back. I have used Recuva in the past and it works quite well, and it's free on top of all.

Bashed Asus on their Facebook page. Felt so good for once, and will probably delete it tomorrow, but still. Never buying a republic of gamers laptop again either, as I never game on a laptop, and just had so many issues with mine, that is 2 years old. Yet the old 7 year old Asus laptop that I used to have and that now my uncle has, still works like new, despite having one of the first Core 2 Duo processors (that doesn't support 64bit Windows). My ROG laptop needs a new motherboard but I decided to just get a keyboard, costs $300 less than another motherboard (even the ones found on Ebay). Got lucky that there's a second Power Button or else I wouldn't be able to turn it on at all. Even looking on the internet you can see that ROG laptops are plagued with issues. Anyway, I'm tired of this and will probably start saving money for a new laptop once I build a new desktop to replace my old half failed one that I built with the cheapest parts I could find 5 years ago (cost $600 and would still be a very decent gaming computer if it hadn't started failing). After working with Dell computers for a while (I work as an IT Technician for a big company), I can see that their Precision series of laptops have a very low rate of failure, so that's probably what I'm going to save for, even if quite a lot of their other models seem to be failing often.

There's no soap taste in the food, I guess it all slips down as it drips. Pretty sure there would be soap stains if there was soap staying on the dishes.

I fill the sink with warm soapy water but I don't rince before leaving it there to dry. Never had any soap left on my dishes.
  22. The nexus 7 really fits my needs, and I think today's nexus 7 is better than the one I have (which came out in July 2012). I use it for lots of stuff, but mostly just reading. Used some games on it as well and some apps that are quite useful for everyday stuff. Also being a networking person I've used some apps to test wireless networks and some other stuff.
  23. I've had no trouble playing mkv files with vlc on my nexus 7. Maybe the connection wasn't fast enough?

That's pretty much how I'm installed with Videotron, they just installed me a bridge that converts coax to Ethernet, my own D-Link router does everything. I'm going to repeat myself here, but that $40 I'd have saved with Bell isn't worth it if I'm going to get the service I had. Apparently I'm not going to have to pay for a month of Bell because I only was connected for 1 day with them. We never know though.

It's not fiberop that messed up so quickly, I was on fiberop for 2 years because I didn't have a better choice in NB, but now that I'm in Quebec, even if it's $40 more I'm staying with Videotron. Bell's Fibe material is incomplete and you can't play multiplayer games on Fibe because they close the nat and don't give you the option to open it. Just to get a tech I waited 30 minutes and I got an incompetent one that didn't even know his router interface. And you know what, what I found on the internet is most stuff has to be done on their side. Even port forwarding doesn't work on their routers. With Videotron there's no waiting time on the phone, you get someone right away. I think the better quality of the material and connection as well as the much better service of Videotron is worth the $40 more I have to pay per month.
