The fact that you posted this just for the sake of an argument with another member of tip it is dumb, but that's not the point of this thread. The bottom line is that runescape is an achievement based game. The actual grinding of a skill isn't fun to most, but achieving the highest xp per hour or a new level is what keeps people playing due to the achievement aspect. So for those driven by achievement or accomplishment the periods of grinding are well worth it.

I was never able to play runescape without music/tv/forums etc.

@arbiterspar: I think your forgetting that her goal is just maxing slayer not all skills. So she really isnt wasting xp because its not a part of her goal.

25m crafting xp <3: This will be my last achievement for awhile if not forever. My runescape journey is finally coming to a close. I want to thank all the friends I've met both here and in runescape for all the fun times, but this is my goodbye.

I have never actively played any other mmo's or games for that matter. If I do play another game its Fable or Madden with friends.

Although its possible I don't think it will ever happen. It's a great goal if you really love the game, but I feel that most if not all will lost interest in this game eventually.

For my Rs Goals :thumbup: I'll have to check how many I need of each item but its probably in the Millions for each :?But..the ashes? I would guess Serum 207's

Its a great accomplishment and my hats off to him, but I think at some point he will regret all the grinding he did.

For the last two days every time I've attempted to log in I get the message "Runescape has been updated please reload this page. Countless tries later and I'm still out of luck. Has anyone else had this problem or am I just falling victim to my own stupidity? Edit:I apologize I should have read down the page first

For me farming, as it is the only skill that I still find remotely entertaining in game.

And it all began with a mask, or something. I cant remember entirely its been 3 damn years but congrats dusty you finally did it. Now go enjoy the finer things

Thanks Saru, I did about 50/50 imps and chins. I would say at this point I'm Retired. I'm not saying its permanent, but Runescape no longer peaks my interest. It used to be a way to relieve stress after a long day of work, but now its more work then a means to relax. I'll still pop on to chat with friends from time to time, but don't expect to see any levels for quite awhile. Thank you to everyone for your support and happy scapeing.
