  1. I've killed 1,000 of them without solo claws. 1 in 400 is pretty good in my book #-o i was averaging mine every 150, which isnt bad considering that they drop a crap load of charms, and at 33m a piece its pretty good also, nice one zel, lol. i wish i could have YOUR luck, i seriously do. >_<
  2. Did you just say that wrong doing is fair, because you can join in and do wrong yourself? :wall: (refrains from making real world references -.-) You agree that 75k tricking and manipulating the GE are wrongdoings, but some players don't. I'm using this as an example of how certain actions of players are what you'd considered as morally wrong, but not all players see it that way and continue to do it. And even though everyone has the choice to join in the wrongdoing so that you're not left behind in the benefits, it doesn't mean that we should all condone it because "no one gets hurt" (if everyone does it), such as 50/50 GOP and CW games, GE manipulating clans, or 75k tricking. Some people just don't see these as "wrong" until Jagex rewrites the rules to include it. This is my point. Jagex needs to have the mindset of crooks before coming up with every game content, to know how twisted-minded players might abuse the system (which they do, whenever possible, as long as it's not a bannable offence). Often the failure to do so leads to more problems, for example:  Originally: the Great Orb Project; 2 opposing teams attract orbs of their respective colours, whichever team with more orbs win. We end up with: players forming teams to win 50% of the altar, so that both teams benefit. Originally: PVP worlds, you kill players, you get random drops if successful. We end up with: Some sort of lottery system where each lottery cost 75k and winnings is up to 5 million. Originally: The Grand Exchange; you buy what you need, you sell what you don't. We end up with: You buy up supplies in groups so that price would soar, and dump for profit. Originally: Freezing spells, DDS; an assortment of arsenal for PKing  We end up with: Luring. Notice how players are always bent on finding out methods to maximise their profits with the least effort possible? which type of luring are you refering to? the tactic where you lead a pker (whos already in the wilderness) to a group of mages who then pile him with ice spells, godsword etc so he has no hope, or the luring where you convince a normal player to step into the wilderness and get attacked by a few people when he has no food, likely little to no armour.... because if its the latter, fine. but if you were refering to the former when you said luring, your an idiot. also.. so now its bad for both teams to benefit? mind explaining that? because i dont quite follow your train of thought here, especially when GOP 50/50s dont have any roll-on effects like 76king and manipulating the GE does, and you can STILL play a "proper" game of GOP if you wish to... either way, all these things are simply emergent game play...there never has been and never will be anything wrong with it.
  3. A pure wouldn't be able to effectively use a healer, since any monster worth using a healer on would rip through a pure's defence too fast. Prayer potions = Win. Yeay but without defense any monster would be worth using a healer on. Prayer potions = expensive a healer wont be able to keep up with damage done (on a pure that is) so they will either need food or prayer potions any way, making the healer pretty much useless in alot of cases

Nice. xD Its so funny to do that. i tried that once. he was bi. i dc'd.
  5. while i like it...in theory, its just not practical. way too much would have to change for it to work, though. though i would like to be able to run around as an icyene or an avianse.
  6. You know, there isn't a cheat for infinite filters in real life. We plan on flying around the world, collecting members of the TZDF, then bring supplys into some deserted part of the world and build a new life. But we can't manage gas masks? Wait. Screw that, we don't even need gas masks... Solanum travels through the blood stream. Even if we inhale it, it travels to our lungs. If we can crudly filter it (Cloth over the mouth) we should be safe. Depending how strong it is, and how much is in the air, of course. and if it goes into the lungs theres a chance that some of it will difuse into the blood stream. i mean thats what the lungs are for, right? sending gas (mainly oxygen, but others can get in aswell) from the atmosphere into the blood? unless its a very good filter, youll still be in danger
  7. And this is why my post here will hinder you almost completly. I left ~2Mil people in France on purpose. Yes alot of these people are dead, but not without sparking a French Rebellion. The combined efforts of the French rebellion (don't underestimate them because their French, they're pretty violent) and the Luxembourg survivors have made a great discovery. The German infintry (and now most of Russia's forces) are heavily reliant on computer ships correct? Germany even said that any damge sustained to the chip would inevitably melt the brains of his soldiers. Now, this being said: The French rebellion has begun setting and exploding charges near every local electrical transformer (which there are atleast two on every sub-urban block, look outside). When a transformer explodes it releases a large burst of an electro-magnetic pulse, rendering all elecronics useless. The blast radius is only about 100ft, but this sill certainly cause colateral damage to all chip infused soldiers. Take that Germany! Electric research continues, as well as cloning technique research. Also, I'd like to urge the Kingdom of Jerusalem to halt trade with the 4th Reich. Germans have been known to target the poor people of Isreal. Also, this would pretty much eliminate the fuel supply into Euro-Asia, causing the 4th Reich to stall. They've been guzzling fuel with all those bombers, certainly they aren't using Australia uranium anymore :) its not like every single one of my soldiers has en exosuit or brain chip; theres still enough that dont (and as such will be relatively unharmed by an EMP) to do a good amount of damage to/ take over a city. and an EMP will disrupt your own equipment aswell
  8. farming isnt a hard skill, really. took me just under a day to get 60-65 for it, planting yew trees. cost a bit, but the rewards of the quest more than made up for it FYI, i spent alot to make sure it went as fast as possible. in other words, i payed farmers so my trees didnt die. lol but yes, you can use stat boosters to start it
  9. except against bosses (gwd, dks, CE, etc etc) which i have never hit on w/ dfs spec.
  10. WRONG. NO. BAD PAW CLAW (lol, not trying to sound mean) you dont want to try to tank spiritual mages; they hit too hard and are too accurate even on high magic defence armour to be a good idea. i tested full karils, BSS and zammy stole (god item) on zammy mages w/ food and it was....well.....i only was able to kill 1, maybe 2, mages before having to eat if you want to kill zammy mages, wear good pray+ armour, whip, and some zammy item or a zamorak god bird. sara mages, wear a zammy and sara item, and a mix of melee/range/magic defence and prayer (incase you accidentally get attacked by something) and attack the mages that are fighting zamorak monsters. i find that bandos tassets+pros top or BCP/pros legs work well, and neitz helm (slayer helm is task, ofc.) bring a few pure sets, a couple of prayer pots, 1 brew, 1 super rest, room for drops and a tele
  11. I almost cried at the finale, I didn't though, as I don't like crying. I must say that it was an awesome finale though. Last time I cried was when I was 13, because my uncle died. I'm now 16. 3 years, woohoo. Crying is just so useless, so I just don't do it. if we are talking about shows that make us cry here, the jurassic bark episode of futurama always gets me. always. and yeah, scrubs came pretty close to me crying aswell. great episode, and i have seen every episode of scrubs aswell, so its actually meant something, unlike the people who saw a few eps and thought "oh hey, its ending, i may aswell watch it"
  12. i agree, lol was easy as, barely noticed a difference between when i did it in maxed gear and that, except like an hour or so, but yea that hour or so would make alot of difference for people with short attention spans though ;p like me
  13. Wheres evidence of this? All documentation I've seen, heard and read 100% states confirms that the attack IS dragonfire and shares all of dragonfires properties except that dragon fire hits 50s if theres no protection, and dfs doesnt.
  14. if i remember correctly, enchant @ mta is about 80k an hour, and pretty cheap.
  15. on top of what they said, the best place to charge it (even if youve already charged yours, remember this) is at the room in chaos tunnels with 2 bronze dragons. bring the shield and an anti breath and stand between them so they are both using fire, itll be charged in under a minute.
  16. using what now? you seem to be under the impression that you can make up random [cabbage] and claim it as technology out of nowhere and then use it. thats not how this works. and no, you CANT disable my entire army, and to think you can is foolish. and im sick of hearing about those [bleep] magnets already, i get the point, ok? and casualties would not have been low, due to the fact that you deployed them into germany, where there would have been a large number of troops anyway, which would have slaughtered them as soon as they left the drop pods, let alone be evac'd out of the area. in a time like this, it would have been foolish for dusty (t4r) to leave his cities unguarded, which indeed, didnt happen. there were still a large number of troops in his cities to prevent that sort of thing happening your attack was doomed from the word go, and you as good as declared war on 2/3 of the super powers. you realise that, right? Low doesn't always mean troops overall, it was something else that was destroyed in low amounts, I had a big troop casualty. EMPs are possible right now in case you were unaware (as in IRL right now.) Infact the 1st EMP bomb in use dropped on Hiroshima. That's right, the atomic bomb gives off an EMP pulse. you didnt say EMP, you said "electro electricity", neither of which would be capable of disabling my entire army; you would need hundreds in the optimal places to have any real effect on my army
  17. Yay for sounding like an ignorant [puncture]! im still yet to figure out what censors to puncture, lol. im sure i could figure it out if i bothered, but im too lazy. lol
  18. whats wrong with guys hugging eachother? just a little heads up; the hugs a guy gives to another guy is different from the ones they'd give to a girl.
  19. Did you actually just say that reading has no educational value? not quite, he was refering to fantasy books, which i agree have little educational value as its well....all made up. well, mostly. but you will still pick up little bits and pieces, like idk, sword fighting? :? who knows, but very little compared to other books. Every single piece of fiction ever written is a lie. Fictitious people doing fictitious things. In fantasy/sci-fi, you add fictitious places to the mix. The latest thriller set in New York is as "made-up" as the latest sword-and-sorcery fantasy romp. You learn from both, and you learn the same things. but in general, alot of "fiction" stories are still within the bounds of possibility, its just the things that people do in them are different to what has actually happened. but in fantasy, there is alot more impossible crap happening the thriller set in new york has alot more reality and factual bases in it, such as types of weapons that exist, technology, etc etc, but in a sword-and-sorcery story, you can make up as much as you want and get away with it. its not that easy in most fiction genres
  20. it was bound to end up this way eventually, due to the fact that people can in all honesty attack who ever they want without any real consequences, so it was only a matter of time before people began to go all conquest on eachother. and also, this thread has kind of...stagnated. very few people put much attention into it, and as such its down to a few people fighting with eachother, leading to those who no longer play being easily taken over/borders expanded.

  22. you must be so proud ... anyway, firecaping isnt about the gear, its more your own skill than anything else, so doing it in crap gear like that is no biggie, really. sorry.
  23. nice fishing, most other stats are pretty average though
  24. 25. hence why they are still researching, and didnt expect it to be done any time soon. hell, they may find a shortcut, or a way to quickly produce a small amount of antimatter, and that system is then planted into a missile so that it can produce a little bit of it, and blow up. who knows where it will go, but its worth looking into (i think) also, doom, what i had heard was that when antimatter hits matter, it annhilates with a large amount of energy released, so yes very little matter is destroyed, but the energy released from it happening could cause alot of damage.
