I logged into Runescape today and found that it was odd that I didn't see the old message that tells you the G.E. has updated, so I ran over there. Only to find that all my offers are gone. I checked my bank, didn't find them, check the "collect" on the banker to see if it was there, still couldn't find anything... Checked the history and it says I didn't even buy them. Now before I logged yesterday I knew how much money I had, as I put in a offer for 500k fire runes, bought the usually 25k instantly and logged off hoping tomorrow (now) I'd have most if not all of them. I check the IP on my account every time I log in and it was my own, and no one in my house even plays Runescape so no one could of logged into my account and did anything with them. I tried logging in and out, even changing worlds and nothing. I also check my other account and it's offers were updated and still there. Has anyone heard of this happening or had this happen to them? I'm reporting it to Jagex right now, but I doubt they will do anything for me. ~ Captainkidd

I've been noticing that the street prices for items vary hour-by-hour. Greatly. Best option is to check the official forums as well as world 2 G.E. ~ Captainkidd

I've been looking though the Rate This! board and I find it's become an extremely negative place. I believe that making against the rules to put a number rating in a thread/reply would have a very positive affect on the atmosphere. Of course it wouldn't make sense to keep the name as Rate This, when you couldn't rate anything. ~ Captainkidd

If you can, and are planing on it, buy another months membership. Jagex has made it pretty much impossible to contact them anymore even for important situations such as this. ~ Captain Kidd

It use to rise around Christmas, along with masks at Halloween, but those days are long gone. Now because of the G.E. every Christmas Santa Hats go down in price because people buy, wait for it to rise, which it never comes so they sell. ~ Captainkidd

Attack, Strength, and Defense are 75, Prayer and Summoning are 1. ~ Captainkidd

Level 90 P2P with 1 prayer. I was thinking either soul wars, pest control or bandits, but I haven't played in over a year, maybe more so I wasn't too sure. ~ Captainkidd

2 years is quite a long time. Especially for trying to pick an item to invest in. It could really go either way. But for comparison you should check out the Zybez price guide as they have the most accurate records of prices pre-G.E. But if you look at almost any item you can see that their prices as fell over the past 2 years despite their peaks. ~ Captainkidd

People, please. :wall: Do any of you realize what your saying? Your suggesting that if someone gets 99 slayer in Runescape they haven't wasted one bit of time in the real world? But because he stood in Soul Wars for months doing 'nothing' he's wasted his time? Do I have to remind everyone that Runescape is a GAME. How can someone even think about accusing someone of 'wasting time' in a activity based around enjoyment, enjoyment which is gotten from the user with his or hers own opinions. I know. Jealousy and denial. Jealously, because as you believe this is a simple, meaningless task but he's the only one that you've know who has done it. Do the default HD settings make your computer lag? Or are you putting everything to the max? I suggest putting anti-aliasing on 2x or none that is if you are using 4x because that can cause most of the lag for many computers. ~ Captainkidd

*cracks fingers* Okay... Agreed, though from others responses I don't believe this is just my maturity finally noticing this. I guess my intent is to at least bring notice to the problem and perhaps stumble upon a solution, maybe more. I agree, the "internet tough guy" seems to be coming out more in people. What do you mean by "not bad", are you saying you notice it, it's just not on the level you've seen on other forums? That's where I think your wrong, well half. I don't think all of these problem comments/threads are causes by a select few "bad eggs"., I think majority of the posters make negative, hateful, "troll" posts on a semi-regular basis and that there ARE people who just do it constantly and possible those are the people who need to be targeted? I agree! Except the part about being a temporary stage, as I don't think this will go away on it's own, I think it could only get worse. In fact I started to notice this in the Help & Advice forum where every post I clicked on burned by eyes. Two plus pages and the person STILL needs there question answered, or the same answer has been said 30 times. I get what your saying about how the community gets bigger the bad things come up more often, but it that were true they would still be put down by all the good things. This could be the leading cause for it all, though how could we make them realize that it isn't? (Setting a good example like others have stated is one idea) I don't think that most of the content is bad enough to be reportable, it's just causes a negative feel about the forums. I agree. So you believe that if you can't succeed in something for certain, and easy, you shouldn't try? I hope the last comment wasn't directed towards me... Please, if you have no intent to read mine as well as others posts fully and make a thoughtful and productive post to the thread, please don't post, Thank you. It seems the Tip.it community as a whole has been turning towards the worse for some time now. Negative, hateful and spam comments can be found in almost every thread. Now don't get me wrong I know every forums has situations like this and no amount of moderation or regulation can prevent it fully, even though I think we got some of the best staff. It just seems like Tip.it is starting to look like *shudders* RSOF more each day. Though the quality of the community still blows others out of the water, I don't think it will be that way for long. I'm wondering if I'm the only one noticing this and why they think this is happening. It seems like only yesterday when everyone was so helpful, kind, and a positive influence on the community, though there are still people like this I don't think it's enough. I'm beginning to think it's because the size of the community; It's grown so much that the few "bad eggs" have created some sort of masses that can be noticed with ease. Does anyone agree with me? Do you believe it's possible to fix this and bring back the old Tip.it? ~ Captainkidd

Jagex isn't sexist, if they were they'd give a advantage to one gender over the other, such as only letting women characters wear skirts and only letting male characters wear plate legs, BUT, have different prices for both, then Jagex would be sexist towards men then as it would be beneficial being a women character verse a male. But them keeping both genders able to wear the others stereotypical armor the only factor is if the player wants his or her character to "look good" in their armor verse paying a lower price. ~ Captainkidd

So it seems like you want to get happy and angry at the game again but can't figure out how. Why didn't you just ask that in the first place?
