  1. 89 Fishing ty lonk! ty mix! ty mr! I got 89 fishing yesterday. 1,582 cave fish to 90 fishing. 27%->37% to 84 farming (level at which I can plant lycopus). I think it's already Wednesday. I should do penguins. I'M DOING PENGUINS!!!! What does everyone else spend their peng points on? :o Points will go into prayer I think. I'd do herblore but I have my eyes set on Falador shield 4 first. Also, circus, tears of guthix (143 tears), familiarisation (if i'm not feeling lazy). Doing them all at once keeps me on my toes. Done, done, and done. I usually kill bork twice every other day my timezone (dinner for me usually straddles midnight GMT). Killing bork now, though. D&D tomorrow night. woop. After 90 fishing and 84 farming, I'll work on a herb level or two. 77 or 78. Then it'll be a combination of dungeoneering->93+, cooking->90+ (95 for task), and farming herbs for herblore->80. That's the plan anyways. 3 more dg levels until I get to unlock warped floors, wewt. Not RS-related: Preordered DA2 booooyaaaaah. So. Flipping. Awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlACgYHtWCI Cheers.
  2. Dang, that's a pretty sweet character you have there for only less than a month old. I used to think 2k gp was a lot when I first started. :P
  3. If we go back to 2007 I'll run out of things to do. Definitely current. Especially if free trade and wilderness come back. I miss the chaos of world 2 Falador though. That was part of the RS experience for me.
  4. | Gallery | Misterxman and Chaosvuistje (Dharokslayer), both being pixel artists and having ties to the OoC, typically left a trail of pixels wherever they went. ;) We've had several pixellers among our ranks, but I blame those two for making me sink so much time into these things. :P Newest pixels top and right. 5. INTRODUCTION It's been a year now since I made that last introduction, so I figure I'd do a bit of a general update. I'm still Iglw and I'm still playing RuneScape, though with much less time to do so. I've gotten two 99s (firemaking and agility) since I started this blog. I managed to get a submission into the player's gallery earlier this year. I hope to keep improving my art skills alongside my programming skills. I am interested in pixel art and mainly help out with the atlas section of the main site. My main goals for this year is to continue getting 90+ in all skills while finishing off one or two more task sets. I am aiming for three or four 99s this year. In order to achieve this, management of regular interval activities (Bork, familiarisation, herb runs, Jack of Trades) will be a main goal for this year. ~ Mar 17, 2012 I vaguely recall starting a blog on Tip.it a few years ago, but I'm guessing that's long gone along with all the other posts that have been swallowed by the black abyss of time and transition. I seem to be browsing these forums more often lately, and seeing as I am nearing level 80+ in all skills, I figured I might as well start a blog thing. My original RSN is Ignite 168. My original TIF name is Shingai. They are now both Iglw and are unlikely to change any further in the foreseeable future. I started playing RuneScape in the year 2002, my original account no longer active since I did not transfer it to RS2. My current account was made some time during RSC and can still access the Veteran world. I served as an Elder of the Order of Cabbage for a few years before "retiring" and went on to (very briefly) try joining a clan. Meh, not for me. During all this, I've taken several multiple month breaks from the game. I've explored much of what this game has to offer, so I typically check out new content within the first two days of its release. Man, this game is addictive. ~ Jan 9, 2011 CURRENT STATS 80+ GOALS (Completed May 5, 2011) 90+ GOALS The 90+ skills spoilered were achieved between Jan 9 2011 and March 17, 2012. It was pretty awesome. If you didn't do this, you missed out big time. 6. 20 and still playing. Fun/addiction knows no age limit.
  7. Good luck on 99 runecrafting! Be sure to take breaks every now and then or you'll burn yourself out!
  8. (Sorry for the somewhat necro) Thanks for hosting Cathal. ^_^ It's been a while since I've seen so many people at the patch. :D May post some screenies here later, though I'm really lazy and forgetful. Edit: I did not lie. Also: dang tip.it forums are fancy now.
  9. Actually, the person who introduced me to RuneScape all those years ago was a female, and I've since known a large number of female gamers in various games and real life. They aren't uncommon.
  10. Can't be bothered to put down whatever I'm doing to run around RuneScape. I'll spend my time doing stuff I enjoy and pay other people for their time getting TT items. Maybe I'll try them out again in the future if I'm extremely bored or something,
  11. Heh, you've been more active than I've been on these forums over the years. 99 fletching via arrows sounds pretty mind-numbing. Wish you the best of luck, though!
  12. Daemonheim If you've read August's BTS you probably already know that Daemonheim is getting another batch of updates including: * Floors 36 to 47 with the Occult theme (12 floors total) * 8 new rewards (including range prayer, special attack cost-reducing ring, and damage reflecting ring) * 6 new bosses * New monsters * New challenge rooms That would mean we will be getting access to new floors every other level up to level 93. Can't wait to finally increase my prestige and get more experience per floor. Needless to say skill training is always more fun with new content to look forward to. I just reached level 83 recently meaning I will be able to access up to floor 42, 7 of which will be the new occult themed. If we assume 1 new boss per 2 floors starting with floor 36 that would mean 3 new bosses to encounter. All in all, it means more xp and more stuff to unlock. Maybe I'll make 93 my goal for month's end? Hah, I wish. In any case I'll be working on hitting a few more levels before the new content comes out. Random Dun pic: Minecraft Oh Minecraft, what am I to do with you... You're keeping me from 99 Dungeoneering. If you haven't heard of Minecraft, it's an indie game where you.. well, mine... and craft? You are given a randomly generated world of blocks that goes on for an infinite distance in any direction. By breaking these blocks you gather resources to craft into tools and other objects which can be used to build whatever you want. Bridges, castles, towns, etc. Oh, and there's skeletons, zombies, creepers, and other mobs that wander around and try to kill you. Many of my friend are into MC, and survival multiplayer is coming out tomorrow so I'll probably be playing with them. I've been playing single player, but mining isn't really all that interesting to me. The first map I generated had ridiculously low amounts of iron, pissing me off quite a bit. I scrapped it and started a new world, and things have been going much better. Normally I'd jump for an opportunity to build stuff but I'm really not in the creative mood right now. Expecting a ton more fun in multiplayer. Cartographer view of the bridge thing I constructed last night. (Unoriginal, I know): Dwarf Fortress! Yea, I don't actually feel like writing that much more right now, so... Shout out to everyone who's played Dwarf Fortress! Found my first cavern and was subsequently attacked by a Giant Toad and killer Crocodile that pretty much decimated my poorly made militia. Good fun! :D <please imagine a screenshot of dwarves being eaten by a giant crocodile right here, ty> And... I think I'll go build some stuff in Minecraft before doing a few more Dungeoneering floors tonight. I have another 35 floors to get through before reset. ;) ~ Iglw out.
  13. Iglw posted a blog entry in TL;DR
I see the Tip.it forums have these new-fangled blog things. And, well, an entirely new forum system. Interesting. I feel outdated. Also, 82 dungeoneering. 17 levels to go. (The other 21 will have to wait ;))
  14. I saw this post in the corner of my eye on the front page and logged in just to comment how awesome that is. That is quite awesome. :D (Especially since I haven't seen any new pixels from you in a while. :))
  15. Dum de dum. Kind of a small event. First time slot's for marathon and bombing. Second time slot's more for technical cabbage picking and art, possibly with some competitions. We can teach newcomers some patterns if anyone is interested. Yes, it's on a Tuesday. Not our fault Cabbage Day lies on a weekday... ~Kah Bah Gee!
  16. Even if 99 in a particular skill is harder to attain than all quests completed, I'd probably still wear the quest cape. It shows that I've been using my time on RS going around exploring, doing stuff, and getting the most out of the game content. instead of spending hours upon hours at one place doing the same thing over and over again. "Wow, cool, that guy has 99 in . I -could- try for another 99... but, hey, I could be doing something more fun like chatting with my friends or checking out that new quest/feature. The rewards might suck, but who cares, it'll be more fun than burning all those darn logs, or spending hours watching my character hit things." That said, I don't usually wear either my capes, and I don't want to waste time getting another one. But, hey, if that's your kind of thing, go for it. 8-)
  17. *shakes head at quest guide users* Skill guides for me, though not very often. Use to get new ideas for what to do on RS. The databases and the calculators are much more useful imo.

Meh, you get the point. And way to call the OoC a clan. OT to your OT: I've been on TIF longer than many people I see nowadays but low post count ftw : EDIT:Fixed BBCode.

Speaking as a past Elder, I can't really say that there's any Order of Cabbage right now... The cult has no direction, isn't really cabbagey, and the forums are now made up mainly of past members and inactive Acolytes. Most people you see are past members who lurk the spam boards and occasionally hang around the patch. (Though, I'm surprised you actually found people at the patch... ;) ) Past members are clique-y and don't really care about new recruits, or the few people who are still trying to keep the cult alive. (er... zombified) They have been damaging to the cults reputation in the past, and they've kinda just taken over due to lack of activity by everyone else. The problem with having a uniform is just because someone wears it and is at the cabbage patch, outsiders (and the people themselves) think they're a member of the OoC. New members are actually selected for their maturity Take Duncdar for instance. The average TIFer would read his post and assume that he really was a member of the cult, and that the OoC really did have a PKing branch (of which I'm an Admin, no less). The OoC needs to get out and actually represent themselves for a change. Unfortunately all the mature people have gone on to university/college and have no time to manage the cult. (There's been a general decrease in the level of maturity on the internet, particularly on RS, and unfortunately even on TIF, which means it's harder to find members that meet the requirements of having enough craziness and maturity to become a real member of the cult.) Kah Bah Gee! Addendum: Hey, are we allowed to post videos here...? Yes? Awesome! Random corny video slideshow reply to Maleficus1055 for "Why the OoC picks cabbage?" And sorry about the bad encounters you've had with the OoC. There are good people here if you get to the true core of the OoC. ;) 8qmnSVLtmtQ
  20. Diagonally! Thank you! Too used to doing these puzzles on four direction handhelds
  21. When this gets fixed: The mistake is repeated in the item database as well.
  22. Nope no destroy option, when you've got the robes from closet does it says its empty ? I didn't check that >.< If there's no destroy option then I don't see what's stopping you from getting a pair of robes, dropping them, getting another pair from the closet before the old robes disappear and repeating to your heart's content. If it works you could make a buttload of money fairly quickly  They don't respawn.
  23. Why would you use an example of something that you state wouldn't happen to add weight to your point? If it wouldn't happen surely it's a poor example to back up your point? Hehe, true true. And shouldn't the difficulty of getting a skillcape be measured by how painful it is to get it?
  24. argh, really sorry for triple posting...
