Cars
Because driving down the road in one of these is the most fun you'll ever have? Or maybe because this truck is simply stunning to look at? (And yes, I have to add: I've ridden 10+ miles in each of those) It's obviously a matter of opinion... if everyone liked working on old cars and liked how they looked, then you wouldn't see any modern cars on the road. Of course, the reverse is also true, more so for our generation.

Very sad news, my condolences to his family.

The botting still persists
Because it's much more fun to know that you got the 99 legitimately?

What is your favorite Internet browser?
It is the most used according to http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp Just remember that that data is only from W3 School's site(s), not the whole web.

What is your favorite Internet browser?
Safari on Mac, Chrome on Windows. Of the two I like Safari more, but I use Chrome on my Windows as it seems faster.

Top Gear USA
Watched two this morning; not as great as the British version of course, but as you said it's the best auto program out there in the US as far as entertainment goes.

GT5
I own and still play GT3 and GT4, don't own a PS3 currently so I don't see GT5 in my future. I'm disappointed that there aren't more NASCAR tracks, and not very happy at all with the exclusion of the Infineon tracks. I spent almost all my time on those trying to uphold my top 5 lap time rankings after I got 98% on GT4. Hopefully they come later in a DLC or something.

R8 probably tops my ugly car list. But as far as new cars go, I'm with Giordano: Beautiful.

Your Experiences
Like tripsis, my whole family has had upwards of four Macs among us forever. We had the screen on an old iBook let go, and I've been experiencing some minor issues with my 4 year old Macbook. Never contacted service about any of the issues, just let them go. I built a computer about a year and a half ago, no issues with that so far (except for the Netgear wireless card, don't buy their crap). My only issue with that computer is Windows XP, but as it's an old operating system I am trying to refrain from complaining too much until I upgrade. Have a HP all-in-one printer, I wouldn't recommend it. USB port gave out real fast, can't send scans to computers anymore. Basic printing works decent for the price though. Only camera I have is a 6+ year old Olympus, and it's still going strong. Not like 3MP and 3x zoom does much these days.

What / Where is this building?
Never seen it, though my guess would be that it is simply an artistic rendering of a concept building.

Cars
Apparently Minis have a pretty bad gas mileage. Just over 30mpg is fairly good for a small car with that much weight and power. Smart cars and the upcoming Fiat 500 both get right around 40mpg, but are smaller and designed to be low-mpg cars. Honestly, if there was an AWD version I'd look into the Mini. I see no problem with it for anyone else in the country, except for the distance between dealers and therefore a possible maintenance issue. Mini are bringing out the Mini Countryman which is pretty much a cross between a Mini Cooper and a Clubman which supposedly has AWD as one of the optional extras. The body styling is a bit different, more similar to the clubman, which I don't think is as nice looking as the Cooper. Have to agree, it's quite ugly.

The stereotype of small cars = good mileage is completely invalid. Ferrari makes fast but very small cars and their mileage is lower than a Hummer (which is infamous for having one of the worst fuel economy ever). It all depends on the engine size. No. Fuel milage is a combination of many things, including, but not limited to: weight, horsepower, engine efficiency, aerodynamics, gear ratios, manual vs. automatic, driving habits, air temperature, altitude, etc.

Chinese workers build 15-story hotel...in just six days.
Guys, it's a prefab- it's supposed to be built (assembled, really) this fast. It like putting together a lego set compared to making each lego block, shipping it all, and then assembling the set. No comparison, and while it is cool, it's really not all that out of the ordinary.

Awesome gaming pc?
Do you need a new screen, keyboard, mouse, and speakers etc. as well? If so, these will drop down the possible price of the actual computer at least $150 or so.

- Chile Miners Ready To Get Rescued
Congratulations to all parties involved on a flawless rescue. What a stunning experience.. following it has left me speechless many times over the past 69 days. I wish the miners all the best in whatever their future holds. - Additional post editing options
I swear I've seen some forums that either automatically close your tags when you hit post or have a pop-up reminding you to do so (if you hadn't already). This would certainly be handy in this case...- Where have you ALWAYS wanted to go and why?
Egypt: I absolutely love egyptian history, and my grandfather was based there in WWII. Northern Alaska: No sun, bitterly cold winters. -15 was plenty cold, what would -60 be like? Italy: Had a dream to see Venice for as long as I can remember. Argentina: Love the culture and the history.- dsavi's Daily Digipaint
Add me to the list- I only use mine for practicing my Japanese (as stupid as it may sound, it's easier than using a paintbrush).- Apple iPad vs. RIM (Blackberry) Playbook
Any Netbook>iPad/Playbook. I was not a very happy person when Apple released the iPad instead of something that runs a normal OS. Though knowing it's Apple, you really couldn't expect them to just follow everyone else. <_< - Chile Miners Ready To Get Rescued
