The [bleep]? Seriously. Kids would buy and trade with each other for them. Some kid stole these golden bullet shaped ones off some guys souped up jeep and people were offering to buy him his lunch for that week for the pair. In the end it was just a phase, like pokemon cards and pogs.

Poor show by France. Loads of quality players but they're not the team they used to be.

Egging houses and buses. Smashed a few house front windows (accidentally) playing golf in a park. Stealing metal dust caps (the little screw-on tops on wheels, where you inflate the tyre) from cars. There was like a black market at primary school for those but the people caught on, contacted the police and we got a visit from the police telling us not to do it. Used to be a bit of a handful when i was younger but pretty much grew out of it when i started high school.

I've got a similar pair in black and white. Saw those in the shop but they're a bit too bright for me.

That was a good goal. I reckon Brazil will win their group. The safe money is on Portugal coming 2nd but i think North Korea could surprise us all.

I think some people should lighten up a bit. As for me, i'll be heading to the pub at night after work and will have a few pints while watching the world cup. Hell, it's not quite wrestling bears but they're pretty much non-existant over here anyway.

It was Poulsen's header which hit Agger's back then went in. It hit Agger last technically but there was nothing he could've done either way.

Holland - Denmark game was alright. Took Holland a while to get into the swing of it i thought as they started playing much better towards the end. The own goal was unlucky then Holland seemed to come a bit more alive once Elia came on.

There's always some characteristic of the match ball that receives criticism, every tournament. Watched the England - USA match in the pub, pretty good goal by Gerrard but England were unlucky with Green's goalkeeping error. Although i was supporting the USA that match, i'll be surprised if them and England don't get through to the next stage however i don't think the England squad is strong enough to win the tournament.

A well deserved win by South Korea today, i think. Greece were pretty poor at the back.

What? Surely it's 100 times easier to whisper to your husband that someone is breaking into your house rather than using sign? And how would you know if someone had broken in if you couldn't hear them breaking in? Can you give some more examples where being able to hear will put you at a disadvantage to being deaf? I really don't see it.

I'm a 360 guy myself, despite owning all the previous sony consoles. 3/4 of my friends have PS3s and the other 1/4 are 360 owners so there used to be banter all the time about which is better. With the 360 i prefer the controller over the PS3. The sticks seem to be in a better position (left one raised a bit higher than the right one, as opposed to the PS3 having both side by side) and they have an indented top which makes it easier to grip. Sure it's not a massive difference but it's one i've noticed. The PS3 has free online play, web browser and the blu-ray player. The web browser i don't care about as i have a laptop to do that. Although the PS3 has free online stuff, i don't think it has the same level of community as Live does (correct me if i'm wrong). The exclusive games are also better for 360, in my opinion. Theres the reliability issue with the 360's, RROD's and whatnot. I haven't had a whole lot of trouble with those, had one a while back on one of the original 360's after a good few years service. A couple of my friends PS3's have overheated or something but i don't think it's as widespread a problem as the RROD's are.

This. Before i started learning to drive i thought i'd be constantly looking down trying to change gear but i don't think i ever did. It becomes second nature very quickly.

Manual. The only way i can see myself possibly driving an automatic is if i ever have a job that requires a massive commute in stop-start rush hour traffic, even then i'd probably stick with a manual.

:thumbup: I think the Garand is my most used gun at the minute. Hardly been playing recently though but a friend is going to buy it so no doubt i'll be playing again in a few weeks.

Very sad indeed. If i recall correctly, this is the 3rd mass shooting in 20 something years in the Uk, with the Hungerford and Dunblane shootings being the other 2. I don't really think the gun laws here need to be changed all too much. I did read a fair few people complaining about the way the police handled the matter but i can't see what else the police could've done, the guy was gunning people at random.

Same here. Looks almost too perfectly round to be natural. Cool as hell though. I've heard about the Mir Mine that someone mentioned. Pretty sure they put restrictions on aircraft passing over it or something like that. Dunno how it works exactly but it's a lot bigger than the sink hole in Guatemala.

I've got two female friends from back at high school added and all they do is message each other using [cabbage]ty inside jokes and code words. I mean, they're pretty cool people in real life but this facebook crap is annoying.
