i did it in first try thanks to your guide... i couldn't get a dragon battle axe so i used my anchor and hit some nice 30's

99 ranged = 40-40 d bow spec and then a chance of hitting 60 with rune crossbow with d stone bolts (e) spec 99 mage = totally dead by then 99 str and att = dds spec 30-30 might win over ranged ranged or melee would win unless it was melee vs mage then he would win but ranged can beat melee with the new updates

haven't you forgot about the Burgh de Rott bank? i find this very easy to use when burning shades and it saves a huge amout of cash

geart guide 8/10 : i got a melee pure with 40 att 50 str 40 ranged and 25 mage and i have found that the best place to train ranged cheap is SoS. lvl 13 minotaur's are great xp because of safespot and they drop loads of iron arrows, when i got 40 ranged i started with 100 iron arrows and once i got 40 i had 2k iron arrows
