Pretty good but I don't really like that semi-transparent second border you've put in there and I'm not sure about colours. This could be one of those sigs that would look better in mono-tone, not sure maybe just mess around with colours and see what you get. Going off topic but I like your current sig :)

Ya I prefer this to the last one. Not sure quite what you did to the image but the main problem I have is that the backlight from the sun would make the apple appear much darker than it is here.

I agree with navyplaya about the filters. With image manipulation I tend to look at the image and think before-hand what feeling/style I want to convey and then go about that, rather than using a lot of effects without a target to aim at. I'm not saying that you didn't think about the outcome before-hand at all, but it does look a bit like you piled on the effects slightly carelessly. keep going, for a first one it's good (probably better than mine was I reckon, though I can't remember my first one)

bothered... I've met so many people that are just like Catherine Tate's character and it's very frustrating.

well I guess similarly to the way that being deprived of a sense heightens others, your imagination runs wild when you don't have sight to tell you what is actually around. I'm watching a clockwork orange too at the moment.

A few would be.. Jessica by The Allman Brothers. Satch Boogie, The Extremist and Surfing With The Alien by Joe Satriani. Cannon Rock by Jerry C. A couple of pieces by Anton Tsygankov who is a random guy who posted some stuff on total guitar once.

Firstly, old paintings are normally not so white, seeing as they're old and faded so I'd give the background a slight sepia tone. I'm not exactly sure what cracked texture you're looking for but if you can post an example I could see if I can help.

In the second one I don't really like the way you can see the border go under the stock in whatever blending mode you've used. I think it would be better if you just erased it where it goes under. Apart from that I agree that the second is better. very nice :)

It's pretty easy to learn the basics of photoshop really, then you just discover stuff as you keep using it. I've never used any of the others such as paint shop pro or gimp (I think gimp is free so I'd reccomend getting that anyway and having a go with it) but photoshop is considered to be one of the best.

No I haven't seen it yet but I'm saying that (like The Core) the story line looks a bit silly, not that it won't be a better film.

I too haven't really liked Danny Boyle's recent stuff. And maybe I just don't know enough about this movie but it looks pretty similar to that movie 'The Core' to me (which seemed a bit silly as well).

I'd say 8/10. I'm doing a national diploma in media moving image at college which I enjoy but we have constant assignments and deadlines to work to.

I think he meant to mirror Luigi and reverse the L. You are right about the dark patch on the nose. I think that's caused by the C4D. Oh right, is it supposed to show him breaking into a mirror world or somthing then?

The major problem in my opinion would be that the 'L' on his hat is the wrong way around :lol: although you could solve that by flipping everything but the text. Other than that very nice :) Oh, and there's a dark patch on his nose in the new one that slightly frustrates me to heh.

very nice. The two things bothering me are that the text isn't quite parallel with the main circle and that the main circle seems to have edges. 8.5/10

erm, I've had 7 pulled, five were under general anaesthetic all at the same time (these were baby teeth) and the other two were under local anaesthetic when I was about to have braces.

Wow great. I love the kinda faded feel to it. If I had to give critique of anything it would probably be that i think the font seems a bit to formal for the style of sig in my opinion.

I think that this has potential. Things to improve on: - There are spots that haven't been coloured. - The magic blast thing needs to be redone to fit with the style (I can't think off the top of my head how it should look, maybe some trial and error...). - The staff, should be smoother, as just about everything else in the picture is quite smooth. - The bottom half of the amulet seems to square off. - I think it should be shaded, although I think only one other shade should be used (similar to the way only one shade is used for shadow on the guy's face). - somthing in the background maybe (stars, moon, trees, that kinda thing). At the moment I would give it a 5/10
