  1. Depends how much you play. You can do all five patches in about 15-20 mins, then repeat the process every 1.5 hours. They soon mount up. Slayer has done me proud with herb drops (78 herblore now), but as already mentioned cave crawlers and druids are good for herbs.
  2. Sell 29k yew logs. Sorry Doing slayer has earned me millions from drops. :
  3. Practically and cost-wise, the best food in my humble is monkfish. Quick to catch, easy to cook and heals 16. I was using shark before this, but in a few hours you could have enough monks to last a couple of weeks even if you fight all the time. Tuna taters are great food, but do take a lot of time to prepare. I use them for questing, etc.
  4. I always did gargs with ring of life before the update. They're a decent task. I think your being a tad fussy really, even though the tasks you mentioned aren't the best tasks to do.
  5. We will remember your great achievement until the end of time 'o glorious Hammer Hoarder - Haven of all Hammers. After the end of time, perhaps you could collect cabbages or ashes or something?
  6. I don't mind it. I get a bit irritated when I finish up and then a team of death-dot hiders pounce on me and start flaming me for eating though. Especially when they themselves are stuffing their faces cos I start cutting them down with my Veracs. :
  7. I was thinking that too. Shoulda kept my used one and only used the charged one on metal dragons. Oh well...
  8. Get ur defence up as that will be quicker than the other levels cuz it's only 74. And ditto with the prayer level if you can afford.
  9. I know about the bonuses you get whilst using it on assignment. I had a drop and started using it. It began as a Black Mask (10), now it's a Black Mask (8) and if something happened I missed it lol! Is there any message that pops up or anything? Anyone know?
  10. I got my first left before I'd started legends and had my mate get me the right half. So yes, it's possible.
  11. I L O V E the fact that this screws over so many autoers in one fell swoop. WELL DONE JAGEX. A brave move, a massive move in the direction of equality for all. Now the game is more than just buying stuff from shops and selling it on for a higher price. This will also separate the real merchants from the babies that waste everyone's time - especially their own - depleting stocks from shops and forcing players to waste lots of hard earned cash made from skilling just getting the basics they need to play the game as it should be played. They even improved the battlestavers among us by making battlestaffs drops. This update improves herblore, crafting, slayer, etc etc etc. =D> No more bastard autoers auto buying runes!!!!!!!!! Cheers Jagex, long live Runescape. Shame about the economy though... :-k
  12. People now buying d square shields for 750k! World 2, 3rd Oct 07 Left half is worthless as a drop. XP only if you get one! What?!
  13. It's much faster than hi alch, and it can be done in the mage training arena. But unless I'm mistaken, I think Jagex reduce the xp per cast in that particular game. Check it out. Alternatively, I thionk most poeple go for the stun, but you'll need a lot of soul runes for that. I'm 94 mage and I'd need over 50k souls to get to 99.
  14. I use the counting method, and to aid mental stability, I count every fifth shot and do a kind of five bar gate thing when my target is killed. I find I can swap bows usually with ten shots of the degredation point doing this and it's pretty accurate if you don't mind tons of bits of paper lying around covered in little lines... :D
  15. Range is usually much, much cheaper, especially alongside mining and smithing to make your own ammunition. Once you get to about 70+ range, it really becomes quite effective as a form of attack.
  16. No, you can't make them. You can buy them from Baba Yaga on Moonclan Isle and (EDIT) in the mage training arena (bought for pizzaz points). They are also dropped by aberrant spectres, infernal mages, sara wizards, zammy wizards, cave bugs, kalphite queen, scarab mage, dagganoth prime, skeletal wyverns, killerwatts, dust devils, locust riders, skeletal thugs, fire giants, otherworldly beings and waterfiends.
  17. I think, judging by what you say about the message you got, you used the home tele within 30 mins of trying it again. It says something like, "You can't use this for another x minutes."
  18. If you're not serious about farming and you have some spare cash, you could do trees (regular and fruit). Definitely grow herbs as you can make some cash back with these, and grow limps in flower patches and sweetcorn, strawberry or watermelons if you can be arsed. -.- If you're more serious, there are ways to get 60k xp per day over a couple of hours a day... ...but it's expensive. :
  19. I think f2p has enough bank space for what you can do on f2p. On p2p there is enough space for what you can do on p2p. People on either game will always want more space, but if they got it, they would just use it to store more crap-they-might-need-to-use-one-day and still ask for more.
  20. I can't believe this has gone four pages.
  21. I don't get it. Every time I type tipit into google, it keeps coming up with this site. I think you're wrong about tipit turning into runehq. :notalk: Seriously though, I like to read these forums as it gives me a pretty good general idea of the maturity level I'll be facing ingame, and I do a lot of grinning and slow head-shaking believe me! : Bring it on.
  22. I hate rock stealers too! I made a really nice rockery in my garden and planted some stuff in it. A couple of weeks later, the rocks were GONE! Someone stole them, and I have a pretty good idea who it was...
  23. 1. Sticks and stones... : 2. Ignore button... 3. A pixelised representation of a moronic, possibly drunk, quarterwit talking about your mother when there are insanely overwhelming odds against them having any idea who she is, and you wasting emotional energy over it is hilarious whichever way you look at it. Thank you for yet another entertaining post. =D>
