so spending over 1m is worth a special that is worth than both a d mace and a dds...makes sense to me! seriously dude...its a waste of your money...might as well save it for summoning or w/e upgrade is next for gear. i have never seen anyone with semi decent combat using one doing slayer. the only time its even semi ok is at pc when monsters stack...but how often are you going to pc when its only good for void

well...a whip is faster xp than a godsword (with a rune def) so a d scim is gonna be faster than a d2h

youre 83 defense, so you really dont need the added bonus of a bandos chest that costs an extra 12m...i had a torso all the way to 90 slayer...took me like 7 hours or so to get it, and ive loved it. the main thing here is you are high enough defense to not relaly have to worry about def bonus, so you can focus on str

Do slayer, if you can do "Smoking Kills" than it is better as every tasks you completed you will get points for it. While doing Slayer Task, you will get Charms and Seeds drop from some of the monster. Use the seeds to train your farming. Use the charms to train your summoning. If you get bored with slayer than alternate it to train hunter, when you get 63 you can get red chins and use the money earn from hunting to train construction. Other than that, try to keep up-to-date with the quest release by completing as many as you could. Also try to do the quest "Swan Song" as you can access to monk fish which are fast fishing exp which you can use them for food. Other stufts I recommend you to do would be: Warrior Guild Mini game to get defender Recipe of Disaster to get those glove Can't think of anymore atm. Welcome to TipIt! i personally would not recommend monkfish, they are slow xp and really arent worth your time. if youre bent on slayer, then get a rune def and barrows gloves + the best gear u can and slay away otherwise...this might sound crazy but if youre truly dedicated i would hunt (maybe to 99) and get 99 ranged. or at least put 99 range as a priority. with gwd and new boss monsters coming soon, range is becoming even more of a needed skill to make quick cash. but slay is the way to go ;) on my way to 90 i probably made like...50m or so from drops

you could bring like 10 terrorbird pouches, summon them, then give them watermelons and dismiss? not sure how bent you are on keeping the melons, but if youre just looking to dump them thats how i do a lot of skills, summon, give 12 watermelons, dismiss. may want to bring a summon pot if there is no obelisk close to a farm patch ;)

have fun getting the 2nds... if you have the charms already then wolpers...every 99 summoner i know has done them 92-95 but if you dont have the charms yet...with the price of granite going down to what will soon to be probably like 400-500gp...might want to consider granite lobs even? not sure im only 72 summon so i wouldnt really know how to compare the two

just buy a d scim, its the best xp you can get at your level and as for a whip being far superior...a whip and a rune def is fastest melee xp in the game...so obviously its going to be :D

its useless now and is wasting forum space, it was a great guide, almost as good as the original one he made (i thought that one was better personally) but seriously, there are other guides fighitng for forum space and this one has no use anymore

Do you guys think its worth me picking up gold charms even? Im getting 99 slayer (89 atm) and it just seems like its a waste oftime to pick up golds...

I agree with you bud. The only thing i disagree with is the cost. When we look at what jagex things of as "expensive" they set a 30k limit max to all trades (rofl gf) and the highest alching item in the game is the visage at below 2m (not sure just being safe cuz i know its not above that). So! i am going to guess that 99 is going to be VERY similar to the costs of 99 fm. You can do it real slow for anywhere between 2-10m, or you can take the yew route and spend anywhere from 20-30m, with there maybe being a super fast route. ie magics. at about 50m but saving you time. That is what i think jagex meant by niether expensive nor cheap. Or maybe its just cuz after a certain level you can make moeny by summoning \ ...or maybe not...

When I am using chin training on skeles in monkey tunnel (great xp if u havent tried it) after a while the bones they drop burn and no monkey respawns. Is there any way to stop this?

I wouldnt say runescape was ruined by miniclip. Many people are just looking for a shortcut in the game, like anyone, they want to take a shortcut in life and be able to reap the benefits without hard work. Why work hard for your money when you could just beg/scam for it? Being someone who has gotten 91 rc (previous account) i know how hard making good money can be, and i can see why some people beg and scam. They do not want to have to rc till their arms fall off. :wink: And like any humanist would say, when our perfection is tested or society views us differently than how we view ourselves, the mind creates defensive barriers. usually they are bad but in wild where they can run if they lose they succeed sometimes. It can jsut take one high it at 99 str+ super str pot and all the fixings to KO some1 with 99 str at like lv 60 cb
