I missed it too #-o I really wanted to see that, a guy actually slowing down during a race and still destroying the record. As someone else said, that must really make his opponents feel bad, knowing he can go easy on you and still crush you.

When do you cry?
^You just made me cry a little inside too. I hate sad stories. Even if they don't make me cry, they make me seriously numb and I usually cry when I'm going to bed. Whenever I see on the news about someone dying a sad death, I go pretty numb and think about it for the rest of the day.

[hide=...] Acording to 17 online dictionaries, there is no word in the English language that has the term "UO" in it. Remember, you need to have a word in your mind with that term inside it to post the term. XT I was thinking of "continuous"[/hide] as for cl, how bout... clam? ND

Surgery -gulps-
I get really shaky at the sight of blood. Good thing I'm not a doctor. Never had a surgery before thankfully, but I had a friend who had his appendix removed in 4th grade. At that time we didn't know about anesthesia so we worshipped him like a god for going through all the pain of surgery while conscious. The only thing I'd stress is to confirm with them before the operation begins that they're doing the right hip, right surgery, etc. My teacher was getting knee surgery and they were drawing the cutting points, etc on his knee. Problem is, they drew on the wrong knee. Good thing he wasn't under anesthesia yet, and told them before surgery began :ohnoes:

Bigfoot?
it can be just his feet/paws with snow under them... all you really see is the white 'sole' and btw, it looks too humanly in the movie Yeah the gait is very human-like. When I went to Taos, New Mexico I heard all kinds of stories about Bigfoot sightings and stuff. A lot of crazy stuff happens in Taos : (Cattle Mutilations anyone!?!). Bigfoot in New Mexico? I thought he'd be in like forests in the northwest or something. Where's the chupacabre, then?

The Demonata
I think the best scene in any of the books was the airplane scene (book 5 I believe?). So gruesome... yet so entertaining. and I love the twists at the end of Demon Apocalypse because of the whole Bill-E and Bec thing (trying not to spoil anything because I'm too lazy to use hide tags : ). it sets up for a great next book. I can't wait for October.

Bigfoot?
^Heh, yeah. What did they plan on comparing it to, monkeys/humans? If indeed it did resemble a monkey or human DNA (and I believe this test did resemble a humans), then what? Skeptics would say it's a monkey, or its a human, depending on the case. I mean... what would be considered a successful DNA test?

The Demonata
^The Saga is the Cirque Du Freak thing right? I read that series. Was pretty good, but I personally believe the Demonata is a load better. The Saga was supposed to be a 20 book series, but Shan decided to end it at 12 -.- would've liked an extra 8 books to read.

Bigfoot?
^Being of authority doesn't mean you can't lie. Just ask Nixon. Oh and I found the article for the DNA results: http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-general/20080815/NEWS-BIGFOOT-DC/ Apparently the guys who found the Bigfoot are also Bigfoot enthusiasts and sell Bigfoot merchandise... if you ask me, the chances of a Bigfoot enthusiast actually coincidentially meeting Bigfoot are very small. Sounds like they're trying to get better business if you ask me.

The Demonata
I'm pretty sure this belongs in the thread for books, but I'll put my two cents in. Frankly the Demonata is one of the best series I've ever written. Blood, gore, and entertainment. Its like a three for one deal for disturbed maniacs. The author, Darren Shan, visited my library for a presentation last year. I was thrilled and got my Lord Loss book signed by him
