  1. I think cooking, woodcutting, and fletching capes are too common. thats why i think they're the least admirable. Now, of course i dont have any 99 skills, but i dont admire those who have the skillcapes.

[Note to self, NEVER get on Goddess's dark side] I don't get bullied, just occasionally verbally assaulted which i usually try to deal with.
  3. the sad truth is, jagex can never please everyone. there will always be haters. i personally enjpoy god wars. it gives alchers a good place to alch, and tons of good drops to alch, and plenty of monsters to kill. i always dreamed of such a war of the gods, but figured there would never be such a thing. yet jagex found a way to make it rational. gj jagex!
  4. You read them well, didn't you?! oh my god! i confused him with Trapical! sorry tripsis! great job though and congratz!
  5. Actually, thats not a new clue at all. Just talk to abbot langely in the monestary. sorry if i crushed your hopes at a new clue :(
  6. dont bother with world 99. too many people, youll never get any drops and just waste your food and/or prayer pots. in the main area of the gwd, go to the north and get at an angle so you can see the bandos room in the minimap. hop worlds till you find one with an amount of people you like. Not too many or you'll waste your items, but not too little or you'll waste supplies anyway.
  7. If you're over lvl 80 you're fine. Bring rune plate and legs, a berserker helm or neitiznot helm, about 4 prayer pots, one restore pot (you dont need a super, just use the restore because of the snow effects on the way there). bring emergency tele and the rest food. oh and dont forget a rope. if you want, bring a rope and a few lobs and go down there with no armor, just to see what its like.
  8. well, if i were fighting someone and kept getting hit every time i dealt damage, i'd be annoyed too. not necessarily annoyed enough to go making fun of the recoiler, but enough to go "aww recoil -.-"
  9. lol, itll never be nerfed. after all, you gotta spend millions to buy the pieces of it, or dozens of hours getting them yourself. i think its worth the effort. awesome screenie though. man, that'd be a sweet pking weapon. of course, no one in the right mind would get skulled with something so valueble.
  10. There were people on the internet who said he wasted his summer. well now he has a car, offers from other phone companies, a breakthrough in technology, and extra iphones to hack! man, this guy used his summer to get him set for life.
  11. getting there is no trouble at all, just a bit annoying because of snow effects. quick overview of what to expect: [bring] 1. tele to troll heim 2. exit the maze on the mountain and go north, protect from range prayer and run through the trolls. 3. enter through boulder. 4. Head north to dungeon. 5. turn on good protect prayer, eat if necessary, then run the short distance north. cross the ice bridge, and you'll be safe. drink dose of restore pot to restore stat loss from snow, eat if you need, then begin alching/searching for drops. The entire process of getting there takes about 2 mins and is easy for any level to do. the snow effects will annoy you but it is not too much trouble. alchers would not necessarily do this jsut to avoid randoms. They can occasionally loot good death piles and pick up drops people abandoned. some players with a lot of empty inventory space even pick up the often left-behind mage runes drops. they drop 10 bloods at a time, or 1 of other runes, and are often ignored. after 1 hour, you can walk away with dozens of bloods, deaths, and chaos as well as a few laws, plenty of airs and waters, and even a few combo runes. What I like to do is use those spare runes to use whatever spells i can to kill imps or bloodvelds for bonus mage exp and occasionally a decent alch drop. if you plan on alching for days in there, you might walk out with hundreds of runes or can use those runes to tear apart spiritual warriors or werewolves for more drops. Obviously, the whole tactic doesnt necessarily favor weak players, but high lvls can do this untroubled. I do this and it works fine.
  12. Yea, ive been alching there for an hour in the midst of plenty of 100+ monsters and have not been attacked.
  13. how many monsters drop d boots? is it only the bosses and their guards?
  14. Hi all! With the new release of the God wars dungeon, many new doors have been opened up for all combat types. However, from what i've seen, investigated, and done, it appears that combat is not the only thing that has been advanced through the dungeon. I took a trip through the area and found that no randoms appear (correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure the random rate is very low, if not non at all. I immediatly thought "this is perfect for alchers, if it wasnt for the monsters." Then I realized that if you go into an area like say the zammy area with his boss, you can wear an object of zamorak (cape, book, armor, etc) and the monsters will not attack you. In addition, players who are concerned only with their kill count and have a full inventory will seldom pick up drops. these drops which range from steel to addy armor (and occasionally rune meds), alch for a lot of money. So my conclusion is: if you bring a load of nats, a zammy cape, maybe a bit of food and restore pots for the journey through the stat-weakening ice area and in the main combat area itself, you can alch in peace in one of the rooms. Plus you can pick up leftover drops and alch those for extra cash, and occasionally (but rarely) even find a death pile for some loot. Can the God wars area become alcher's paradise? and yes to confirm: i've alched there for a while now while wearing a zammy cape and have never been attacked. you don't need to worry about safe spots or dying. the only area of concern is getting there because monsters of other gods may attack you. if you can get to the zammy area quickly (and its not that hard, honest!) then youre totally safe.
  15. so... is world 99 the world for bandos killing? and another question... which monsters drop the sword shards? is it only the bosses, their guards, and the spiritials?
  16. I say we tipiters should form a team in world 99 to take down the bosses.
  17. It's probally NOT in the trollheilm place. well spotted. After reading that i agree, it fits together Kudos Island I agree, but it also fits perfectly with the trollheilm place. A large black square, in an icy frozen wasteland, it kinda screams God Wars Dungeon. Maybe they are connected though, we will have to wait and see. :ohnoes: Perhaps when you go to the island via the museum, it takes you to an island just above the ice plateau? perhaps they are connected.
  18. I don't see why its against the rules. I mean yea, yelling out "want help with a quest? go to tipit for help!" would obviously breach the rules. but a minor, 5 letter word that spells the same thing forewards and backwards that describes who we all are, its against the rules? Only a total wannabe mod would report for that. little report-happy players who go around, seeing every action a player makes, and finds a reason for it to be against the rules. Woodcutting is pking trees outside the wild! reported for bug abuse!
  19. first thing i did as a noobie? Died.
  20. hey guys i'm gonna have to drop out of the tournament (it appears to be deserted anyway). yesterday i had some friends over and one of em (not sure who) stole my ds. i have no proof who stole it so i guess its lost. my pearl, along with my ds and all my valueble hard earned pokemon from leaf green and sapphire are all gone. :boohoo:
  21. sounds like pretty heavy proof. but that vid of the impact from the pentagon itself, how come that was never confiscated? while it could be that the pentagon was hit by a missile from a landed plane, i don't think the FBI was involved. perhaps they didn't want the videos to become famous on youtube giving unneccessary publicity or false conspiracy theories to arise.
  22. In the first pic, the pic said the opponent used protect range. how did a 48 get hit then? doesnt protect range cut damage in half i thought?
  23. I'm a more careful adventurer, but I have lost stuff in the past. I used to be somewhat a pker and lose a set of full rune and a d long. back then i thought all players were regular and i had a chance. then i learned what pures are and ended my pking career. recently I was killin infernal mages. i had a few to go and 20 hp. so i killed two of em with 15 hp left. The next guy hit me for an 8 then a 7 as i clicked protect mage (clicked too late) then i died =(
  24. I hate raising skills. so tediously cutting trees or crafting runes... it bores me. I'd much rather find a more fun way to skill, even if its inneficient.
  25. Whats with the spammers? People making accounts named "Iowntipit" or somethin similar then spam us whenever they get the chance. People have been blaming other fansites for this, but I'm thinking its just some moron who thinks he can start an inter-site cold war just by spamming us. They do end up usually getting what they want: They annoy us, some people forget to use the ignore list and end up putting up with these people, they make us blame other sites, and they make us start a huge discussion that interrupts whatever fun discussions we were having just for us to decide what to do.
