Yea man I feel really sorry for you. But of course, Jagex isnt gonna do research too much before a ban. There are constant amounts of rule breakers. Being a p mod and an early player doesn't mean you're totally honest. Plus, Jagex has too many people to ban than to research each one of them. but since you got your accoutn back, all is well 8-)

There's always some kind of gimmick. Very few companies are so generous. Look at some of the promotions. sweepstakes, 1 in ten thousand chances of winning. The company gives you 5000 bucks but so what? in return they make 20000 with all the customers going "omg i gotta win this sweepstake!" Those TV and radio shows where they ask for people to text? sponsored by cell phone companies. The station offers you 500 dollars, but the company thats dishing out the reward gets 10000 in return. Ever heard of My Coke Rewards? How many cokes you gonna drink to get good prizes? Nintendo Wii is 6000 points. Thats 600 12-packs. hell of a price. Unless you got loads of coke drinking friends. Even if you work for big companies, coca-cola was smart. They don't give my coke reward items to hotels and big service industries. They just give regular colas. otherwise one my-coke-reward employee could just take a trip to the garbages and recycling bin and get thousands of points a week. No companies are that generous. There's already some kind of catch. even if you do win 10,000 dollars for merely looking inside your box of cereal, its a great deal for you, but an even better deal for the company.

Honestly, Its not much better to be stereotyping that all book readers think that way. I read books to pass the time, to explore a fantasy world away from my regular life. Its just like playing runescape. now while you're nto supposed to runn off to fantasy when life gets rough on you, it is a good retreat. I don't think it would ruin them. It has its goods, it has drawbacks. The good part is you can put your offer and go do something productive. The bad news is that because of all the offers, anturally there has to be a way to organize them. Maybe Jagex will input an organizing system that organizes by price? if so, naturally people would go for the cheapest if theyre buying or the highest if they're selling. People in the middle wouldn't get sales. So it will probably halt merchanting for a while until prices are adjusted to suit merchants and players, but i'm sure it won't be horrible.

Woah. Jagex read mymind. I have been thinking up an idea for the past few days about something almost exactly like the Grand Exchange. I'm a slayer/barrower, so my main profit stream comes from selling the valueble items I obtain from monster drops or the barrows chests. It takes me quite a while to sell my items for the price I want. So I've been dreaming that one day Jagex would make a system where I put up my items and go do something else while waiting for my money to be sold. What happens? the very next day, Jagex hears me! Way to go jagex!

Yea, I think that its too much of a responsibility for Lightning. He/She wanted to quit , we should respect his/her wishes (not sure og lightning's gender, sorry lightning :wall: ). Being tied to the chat makes it hard to put the game behind him/her. I think another admin or well known tipiter should create another chat. Contrary to IRC supporters and admins with anti-clan chat sigs, the chat isnt that bad. We very rarely get spammers, and when we do there's always someone to kick him. and if there is no mod, there'something called an ignore list. I've seen a certain IRC admin's sig, which attacks our clan chat with 2 screenies showing spammers, then a screenie of the IRC where someone asks a question and gets an answer. That sig makes it look like we get nothing done and frankly is totally one sided. The chat is fun, we do help eachother out, its a great way to make friends when getting bored at slayer or other skills. I think the chat should be redone, and don't just choose active tipiters as mods. Frankly several of them are really ticking me off.

Go to Chicago. Shed Aquariam, Alder Planetarium, Brookfield Zoo all right next to eachother, the famous Chicago combo. And of course, you gotta check out the view of Lake Michigan while you're there. Take a trip down Lake Shore Drive for an ownage view, a perfect place for romance, and definitely visit downtown Chicago. Home to the Sears Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the world, you can see 4 states from the top. All kinds of places to visit, and of course you haven't lived till you tried Chicago-style pizza. Come on down, Chicago's got everything you need :D

I too always comment my opponents, whether i won or not. If your not willing to type out "gf man, better luck next time" then a simple "gf" will suffice. I can't stand pkers who say "noob" or other insults as their opponent dies just because they realize their opponent is now harmless. Its not that its offensive (it takes a lot more then "noob" to offend me)merely the fact that you show no respect. Ironically, it seems to be the 1 itemers, pjers, and other low forms of pkers who try to make fun of their opponent.

Hmm, if you ask me this can be a totally great thing for Jagex and we players will not be affected at all. The new company joining will allow for more growth of the game, give the company more cash, and we players will continue with our lives. Way to go, Jagex!

I think its fine as it is. It gives the mole a point in the game. after all, its already the easiest boss to solo (but by far the most annoying), and its drops aren't exactly ownage, since it has nothing special. I can get addy and rune drops from ice trolls lvl 74, while the 230 mole has hardly any rune drops and virtually the same priced other armor drops. The nests containing seeds are the only way to make a constant profit. if there was a spawn, why would ANYONE kill the mole, besides occasionally for a bit of fun or a small clan event?

When i started playing i wasnt quite sure of the time frame. so after tutorial island, i logged in a chicago world. I thought lumby was chicago and varrock was lumby and my sense of location was messed up.

My bro is the trumpeteer in the family, but he's in fifth grade, so i have always been curious what would happen in a band in later years. sounds interesting.

Eh, i dont find it very interesting whatsoever to find people with such names. Its disgusting, its not funny to me, maybe some people here have a sick sense of humor over these names but i don't find it very funny. I would hope jagex does a big cleanout of these names.

I think that it should be for any private or public organisation that if they provide benefit to anyone for the reason of genetic code should be deemed racist and fined. Everyone, we need to make sure that racism does not creep back into our society on the basis of technicalities. It's happened so many times before, let's not let it happen again. One word my friend: Mexicans. racism is already creeping back. why were blacks descriminated in the 20th century? mainly because people realized they could do jobs whites didnt want to do for very low prices (and because segregation was legal so we took full advantage. hopefully we wont go there this time since it isnt legal). now, whats the arguement over illegals? one side is completely because they can mow our lawns and do other laborous jobs we dont want to do, and keep the economy stable by working for half the price any citizen would want. our world ios all based on stereotypes now. now look at this scholarship. statistically, blacks are significantly lower grades etc. Does that mean All of them are? that the only way for a black to get to college is with government aid? that there are no other races that might need some financial aid?

my 6th grade teacher faced similiar discrimination (she's white). she applied for a job at a Chicago public school. a week later she got a call saying she had to be minority (black or hispanic) in order to get the job. then she moved on to our private school and got a job at our school instead.

I would rather have neitiznot's bonuses for the pray and str. first because it helps me kill monsters a little faster (so i wont need the defense as much) and because guthans needs recharging, while neitiznot doesn't.
