Meh, if everyone posted every time one of the thousands of morons on rs said something to try to make someone offended,we might as well convert the entire site into one gigantic forum titled "post about what an idiot said to you". Frankly, there are way too many idiots on this game and it doesn't exactly help to make a thread about them. Its a good idea that Jagex is trying to offer help. If it were me at jagex, and that rotten little [cabbage] decides to joke around with suicide to get me to reply to him, I might lose my marbles and go "go ahead and kill yourself. you're probably too much of a coward, and nobody cares if you'd be gone." Not exactly the most mature thing to say, and I admit I can be an idiot at the worst of times, but then jokes about suicide are no laughing matter either. "Omgzzz jagex responded to my suicide thread! hahahahahahaha i own them now". Pathetic losers.

I think I'd be a "Me, Myself, and I" poster and a little bit of the "best update ever". I enjoy all updates and try to find something good out of it. either that, or I don't care. I didn't care much for the pk update because I don't pk anyways, and bounty hunters is rather fun. And I consider revnant hunting to be an ownage event for clans or even a future TET event...

If you ask me, every one of Jagex's updates made it harder for RWT'ers. They didn't make it impossible (if yuo were desperate you could always trade 3k at a time... but try doing that with 2 mil...) RWT'ers realize that now its way too hard to make profit, they'll move on. We've rid the game of its rule breakers, and sent them all off to other games :D

They're also like mini-Jad's in the way that they can attack you well before you see them. When I run away from them, I notce that even when they're out of my minimap, I continue to be hit by their range, which apparently is their farthest reaching spell. I also noticed that a good way to kill them is with a team. the monster keeps healing and doesn't have time for fighting back. If you can get half the team to use like d scims or powerful crossbow bolts and the other half to use dds or mage shorts (for the spec) you can easily finish him. Today, me and 3 other people went hunting for revnants. we only came out with 2 kills (an orc and a knight). The knight dropped 800 coins. The orc dropped nothing (either that, or the orc had something so valueble that whatever teammate got it didn't say what it was!) but I'm fairly certain it was nothing.

I'm Indian/ Pakistani and I get that a lot. I don't get offended, in fact I laugh with it and make jokes about myself. There are a lot of asian kids in my class, and we have "just-for-fun racism". Its total jokes and we never push it too far where everyone gets offended. There are a lot of stereotypes about us liking curry, bombs, Allah, and cows, but OI just go with the flow because I'm fine with those jokes. Then I stereotype against them about rice, the great wall of china (even though most of them are Filipino), and lead poisoned toys. We just have fun and never say anything like that so seriously.

I can see it now.... the newest tipit or clan event: Revnant hunting. Even with a team, its still a bit of a challenge because the revnants simply heal more (and they can heal a lot more in one "food" then normal players can, they can go from 10% hp to full in one heal!). I once saw at least half a dozen people fighting a werewolf revnant. while 6-on-1's usually end in a very quick kill, the revnant kept healing while attacking. It took a good 45 seconds to kill, and 2 people ran after getting hurt bad.

Rvenants are like normal pkers but way stronger and way smarter. Lol!

agreed. revnants are way too hard on f2p. I'm a member and I got torn apart by a 105 orc because I wasn't ready. His teleblock does 18 DAMAGE for crying out loud! and he heals himself. I once noticed a lv 98 werewolf revnant wandering close to the clan wars area. 6 people took him on, and it took them quite a while to kill it because he kept healing! Honestly, I really think revnants are way overpowered. Members have an agonizing time defeating them, I can't imagine how free players feel.

Why on earth are you all discussing Cambridge? can't we all just agree that Cambridge isn't what everyone thinks and it dependsd on point of view, and that the story was fake? Jeez tipiters can make an arguement out of anything...

Oh noes, I just realized that the christmas drop party won't be the same! we can't have valueble drops unless we use party pete's, and with party pete the entire server will be notified of a huge party. It was already said that over 100m was earned though the slave auction, so a 100m drop party would get practically the entire server in party pete's! I think we should find the least crowded f2p world for the drop party. even then, we'd still have many unplanned visitors filling up the place.

Well things like the Pumpkin, disk of returning, and halfwine might be obsolete because for the pumpkin and wine, you might easily consume it instead of trading. and for all 3, you cant wear them to show them off. But for p hats and santas, they'll keep going up.

I think the limit should be put at around 10k. some items like climbing boots are worth less than 1k (in the grand exchange, people don't bother to buy only 1 for 10k, they buy a large quantity for a lower price, simialr to laws). So now climbing boots are 5-10k worth when buying 1 item but if your account is flagged, you have to give a discount.

Well, looking at the fact that jagex said the better items like d daggers and clue scrolls have better chances on higher levels, and that one guy here said he killed a 126 and got a glory, while people killed the orcs and got petty amounts of gp, i think there's a reasonable conclusion: These monsters are not worth fighting unless you can defeat a 126 efficiently. Otherwise, you're wasting time and effort and supplies for bad drops.

That would contradict everything they're trying to do to stop real world traders. Buying whip, 61k...

Who said farming was a flop? its a very useful and profitable skill. Just because you dislike it it doesn't mean everyone hates it. Watch your generalizations please. Personally, I enjoy all the updates. I'm not a pker, so the wildy changes dont affect me much to begin with. Now autoers have absolutely no point in existing. People who auto in things like green dragons or wildy rune rocks will now have a lot to deal with! Course, I think that if they could make fair trading, they should also make fair staking too to get the stakers to return. Of course, one J mod once said that the changes were to stop people from being "cleaned" quickly. the real world trading was a bonus. I own a low level free player mage. He's under lvl 30 and has 42 mage. I never drop trade, I keep my accounts seperate. this means that money is always an issue for me. Its virtually impossible to save money on my noob. Whenever I pk 20k worth, i always need that 20k to replace the things I used. this is especially difficult on a mage which is by far the most expensive though the strongest. What I find difficult is the amount of drop traders. to me, earning about 50k would be a dream, but of course I'd spend a lot of it immediatly to keep a nice supply of all my items. Some of my best pk buddies have giant supplies of runes simply because they took a few hundred k from their main. If they die on their noob, it doesn't matter, they have plenty in stock. If I die, it means having to loot for a few hours to get some money back. The drop traders were a serious problem and I'm glad its getting fixed.

You know, I think you're absolutely right. Bots have no means of drop trading now (or rather they won't have it in 2008). Some randoms that give good exp rewards like the Mr. Murdaut thingy. others give good armor sets. Things like the sandwich lady, evil chicken, and other things that dont reward you as much should go. randoms should be reduced, because theres still the issue of afk training. Pure ess definitely wouldn't have a point, we can revert it to normal ess and restore that part of te f2p-p2p economy.

Only the good die young. Truly sorry for your loss. people that age shouldn't have to go through this, nor should their families. We're kids and teens. we have our whole lives ahead of us. Our future shouldn't involve lying in a hospital bed or on the ground in the final moments of life. All you can say is he's in a better place now where it no longer hurts.

I guess for next mssw perhaps the new clan war's update could help keep teams organized, if it allows more than one clan. we won't have to worry about cape switchers and if we're allowed to set rules we can turn off mage and rune armor, etc. Very good game. Lol why were people accusing tipit for maging? Looking at the vids going around and at the screenies, I don't think i've seen one mage. people acted as though every tipiter had a few hundred fire blasts and used them a lot. There might have been a handful of losers who thought mage would own, but every site had its cheaters and it wasn't just tipit who had mages. besides, even if there were mages, none of the sites sponsored them, supported them, endorsed them, or encouraged them. It was just a few noobs who thought they could get away with it. GJ tipit! sorry i couldnt make it.
