Heh, that was a fun trip. I'm a very avid rev hunter, so while you guys killed the elly (i helped a bit here and there) i patrolled for revs. I had fun and even discovered my tactic for dharoking the revs (if you guys remember, i was the dude with the dharok :) ) Weekly events? awesome! i'm soo there!

Heh, I've coped since the first of the "tough updates" came into play. I was virtually unaffected by the update and it gave me a new hobby: revenant killing. I always look for the good in updates and there has never been an update I was thoroughly against (maybe a small feature of an update I disliked, but there are no updates so far that I'd be willing to quit because of). Jagex promised they are working on a single pvp update, which could seriously help the people who complain bounty hunter favors teams and large clans.

Looking at the graph, all i can say is I'm amazed at how the prices fluctuate so quickly. do you think that along the x axis of the graph you could label the day or time it was that the items were this price? it could help because we could then match the price drastic changing to when it happened and know how updates affect the prices. this way we can finally destroy those runescape disaster predictors saying every update will crash the economy.

Runescape has potential and possibly can become number 1 for a bit, but for it to sustain its lead for so long against big names like WoW? doubt it. However, Runescape still has its place as number 1 free MMORPG according to several gaming sites.

Heh, for people who are running away from the revenants, just flip on protect from mage and a def raising prayer if you have it and run away. theyre a lot easier to get away from then pkers. They're only a problem for people who have intentions to kill it. very high hits, fairly accurate too, they are hard to locate and can often dissappear in the middle of combat, and their usual reward if you kill them is a few hundred coins...

well I think you do have a point. If monsters summoned don't give u combat exp for their hits, you can bring a recoil/vengeance and summon a good monster and kill them a lot more efficiently than with just a recoil and not egt any exp besides slayer for it... unless of course you don't get slayer exp for what your monster does, but it may be a valid point.

Well the guards from the towers of Neitiznot and Jatizso repeatedly yell at eachother and taunt eachother. one of their taunts is "your mother was a hampster and your father smelled of elderberries!" based on monty python... The white knights of fally aren't based on real people to my knowledge but do have interesting names. Sir Toffy Cashien= certification. Sir Prysin= surprisin'. Sir Amik Varze= ceramic vase...

I think a few of my friends and I discovered a dark beast (rarest revenant) respawn. they can spawn by two small lava craters near the southeast corner of the mage arena. theyr spawn life there is usually under a minute so you have to be really skilled in killing them before they dissappear.

My friend witnessed a revenant near an alter praying after getting hurt. What my friend and I are starting to work on and test is that perhaps revenants protect items, and that if you can smite their prayer off or keep the battle going until their prayer runs dry, perhaps they can drop valuebles. this could explain why some people get obby capes or other rumored valuebles, mainly from the high levels. because of the difficulty of the battles, they may last a long time. the revenant's prayer runs out and in the end you get something better than a few hundred coins. Its a theory but its also the only lead we have since documenting revenants is still a work in progress.

Heh, I crack my knuckles, jaw, toes, wrists... everywhere that can be cracked, I crack it *gives a "don't go there" look to some certain people*. I crack my fingers all different ways, whether its pushing them down or pulling gently or pushing the middle sideways. sometimes I count how many times I can crack my fingers in a short span. I really hope cracking knuckles doesn't have a long term affect. I mean, I think wikipedia is right about their short term causes of slightly weaker grip and maybe mild pain. but I'm really screwed if it can lead to big problems in the future.

Lol, runescape does the opposite for me than what it does for you. I can't concentrate on homework while thinking of runescape, and I certainly don't remember things to do after an hour or two on runescape.

One reason that the runescape forums are filled with spammers, immature rants, and everything you can name is because they don't care about the forums. they're not being punished ingame, so they go purposely annoying everyone on the forums and to get away they just play the game and never visit the forums. I think that to clean up this mess, very serious or constant abuse of the forums should lead to ingame punishments.

It seems that a lot of people believe that the only people who would seriously abuse the cencor being gone would be "little 10 year olds". If you think most 10 year olds act that way, that also reflects that you acted like a twisted perverted and swearing little kid at that age. If you weren't that kind of person, then you'd probably realize that there are many kids that age who aren't such idiots either. So unless you're willing to say "I was an immature brat who swore like crazy when I was 10", you shouldn't assume that all 10 year olds are like that. Besides, how many 10 year olds do you know are that perverted and know what all those swear words mean and use them regularly? Many of them might still not know where babies come from or even if they did know they wouldn't make jokes or abuse the process, theyre still learning. Maybe you know one or two kids who are crazy, but you have to admit very few"10 year olds" act that way. In fact, the innuendo and sex jokes and whatnot would be abused a lot more by teens than by under 13s.

When I go to high school in september 2008, I'll be sure to remember to prioritize my grades, friends, and hobbies over runescape. Runescape will always be there later on when I have spare time, its not going anywhere. But my friends will only have so much tolerance for me before they start thinking "lets ditch this loser and go see a movie". and of course, College certainly won't be waiting for me to finish a barrows trip before an interview. When I get a job, my boss won't wait for me to finish my slayer task before I get to work on my shift.

Tell me, why can't you guys use other words rather then the cencored one? You just HAVE to use the word "suck" when there are clearly other word choices. I hate how people think that in order to be mature you have to say or tolerate swears. Swearing is not a sign of maturity. Besides, if the words got uncencored, chaos would come over runescape from every age, not just "under 13". I remember once when people found out how to bypass the cencor for the word for male genitials and a word for female dog. They went crazy spamming up the tipit chat and ingame. You think if we allowed them MORE words they'd take it maturely? If jagex loosened up the cencor, it would kill the new player stream. People would come in the game and people are calling him every swear known to man (and perhaps several known to monkeys). Who, even the most mature people, would want to sit through that? who wants to sit there cooking fish while people are harassing them especiallf is the person is female? even if you could tolerate a swear here and there because people let it slip, the runescape world would be way beyond that. People unnecessarily using "cool" words just because they can.

Yea, level also seems like a sign of maturity these days. No one can comprehend the fact that there may be a 20 year old behind that level 30 account and that he has the ability to talk maturely. He'll soon level up and become a 20 year old level 100, but in that particular time he was a lvl 30. Nooberty is a stage. Everyone goes through it.

Kill revenants. kill green dragons safely. Play bounty hunters. theres plenty to do other then chop logs. just because some people don't like the update, it doesn't mean others can't find the good in it.

Lol, how many people actually use the whip special for its energy drain? They use it more because its a bit more accurate and if they have no other weapons with a special bar they might as well use the whip special to drain a bit of energy and get a good hit. And who uses full torags in the wild anyway? Torag may have high def, but it has very low offensive and with no super finishes, its a pretty useless weapon (you might do serious damage and energy drain, but you'll never kill him unless you run him out of food with no hope of escape. its very hard to deal a finishing move to a low hp opponent with torag). I dont think there will be any affect on the whip or torags, their energy drain isnt used mich anyways.
