Knights Waves Training ground! made easy for lvl 100-
Well I was gonna do that after I beat the knights for the first time (just so i get the reward) unfortunatly, I found out once you beat it, you can't go in again. But I'll try to get pictures of what I can, like the dummy safe spot.

Knights Waves Training ground! made easy for lvl 100-
Staff Note: we've made a table of the Knight's levels, the stats they damage, and their weaknesses. Please try using this info and let us know if it did or didn't work for you. corrections to above image: sir gawain is level 122, and sir kay is weak to stab Hi all! this here's my first guide, so please bear with me, I'm trying to fit every bit of info I can. None of this info was copied from anywhere besides the squire who gives information, and tipiters who posted with helpful advice. I myself went to tear through the knights while recording my information and trying various techniques, all for my fellow tipiters! :D Contents: 1.0= Quick Notes 2.0=Reccomended stats, requirements 3.0= What to Wear 4.0= Inventory 5.0=Getting there 6.0= Safe spot 7.0= The Knights 8.0= The Rewards So after the turmoils of the King's Ransom quest, you decide you want to defeat the new mini-game for melee. The Knights Wave Training ground, a place where some of Runescape's stronger players gather to defeat a few Knights of the round Table. 1.0 Quick Notes -You will have to defeat eight knights in a row. All are level 110+ and hit pretty hard. -You cannot pray and can only use melee combat. Range and Magic are not allowed. -You will have to fight these people one after another. there will be virtually no breaks to prepare. however, there are some safe spots I will explain in case you need to heal up. -These knights will lower a specific melee stat. However, the final knight, Lancelot, will lower TWO stats. Be VERY careful on him! -Remember, you will not lose items if you die. If you want to stop, you can click the door to leave. However, by dying or leaving you will have to start over at the first knight -If you want to take a break without losing progress, just logout. when you login, you will resume combat with the current knight. 2.0 Reccomended stats/Requirements This is a pretty tough minigame and is not for the weak. lvl 110+ combat should hopefully make it easy. However, I did it at 96. I would say a combat of 90+ is the bare minimum to go through with a struggle. Melee stats reccomended are: 75+ attack 80+defence 75+strength 70+ Hitpoints Requirements are that you beat the quest King's Ransom 3.0 What to Wear Obviously since you're battling eight very strong knights, you'll need some very good armor. Bring your absolute Best melee armor, and you can choose between a rune defender or a rune kite or better, or a 2 handed weapon (not reccomended unless its with guthan set). Bring a Glory amulet or a Fury amulet, and if you have it you might find it a bit helpful to bring full Guthans along to heal. Try to get your defence stats at 300+, because these guys hit hard and pretty often. I won easily with a defensive strategy: wear your best defensive material. as long as he hits less, you're ok. However, some people especially stronger players may prefer armor that gives better offensive bonuses, such as Helm of Neitiznot and Fighter torso. This is not reccomended for lower level players as they will be hit a lot harder. My armor setup (i only used the armor I had, so I'm sure there are better setups out there. If you have better bonuses then me, then use your own setup). Some meleers have done it with rune armor or fighter torsos. Others have used Guthans. With a really high defence and your bonuses at 300+, any armor would do. Items that are highly reccomended are: D scimmy DDS D battle axe (not necessarily for the spec, but some guys are weak to crush attacks so you use the b axe for that) If you have no d b axe, use any other dragon weapon with a crush style, like a d mace. The d mace has slightly lower bonuses, so its better for people with lower strength since it hits a bit faster to make up for the les damage. 4.0 Inventory -You will definatly need 4-6 Restore pots (or super restores, but restore pots are a lot better for the situation, I'll explain later) -bring the weapons of choice -Fill the rest of your inventory with Sharks or better (anything under sharks probably isn't a good idea). -For higher levels, you can decide to bring a super set. If you drink before entering your stats will be nice and high. thus you'll be a lot stronger, use less food and pots, and won't have to worry about restoring stats for a while. Pic: This inventory contains: super set (optional), 5 restore pots [4 dose], d b axe, dds, ring of recoil [optional], and sharks [can be replaced with better food]. I did the knights waves without recoil or super set. but both items may make your life a bit easier. 5.0 Getting there After getting your supplies, head to Camelot. go inside the castle then go to the southwest corner. there will be a ladder. climb up, then go up the next ladder. Talk to the squire and he'll explain what to do. Now, if you're prepared, enter the room... Here's a pic of the ladder to get to the top floor 6.0 Safe spot When you enter, you will notice dummies surrounding the edge of the room. when a knight attacks you, maneuver him towards the dummies. Put him on one side of the dummy, and you on the other side. Unfortunatly, you cannot hally here. However, this is an ideal spot to heal yourself when you are weak without taking constant damage from the knight. You can change weapons depending on the knight you fight, set your special attack, use potions and food, and be prepared. then step out and attack the knight. Here's a pic of the dummies. unfortunatly i can't go back in the room once i completed the knights waves, so i had to take the picture from the outside. 7.0 The knights Each knight is weak against a certain attack style. When you use a poisoned weapon of that attack style on the correct knight, he may get poisoned. Whenever a knight does damage to you (if he hits 0 nothing happens) 5 levels are taken off a certain combat stat. Thus, restore pots are better to use then super restores, because super restores heal a lot and would be a waste here. Keep an eye on your stats and health at all times, heal them when they get below 10 levels of your regular level. An idea used by some players is to use the correct attack style with a dds to poison the knight. then move on the safe spot and let the poison kill the knight. However, some tipiters have pointed out that if you stand there for too long, the knight will dissappear and you will have to start over. To prevent this from happening, run up and hit the knight, then run back to safety. You will first fight Sir Bedivere. He's level 110. When he does damage, he will take off 5 strength levels. His weakness is stab attacks, so tear him apart with a dds (don't waste too many specs). He should be very easy, I killed him without him even doing any damage to me (saving me pots and food  ) Next comes Sir Pelleas. He's at lvl 112 but is no match for a slash attack. Use a dds or d scimmy to slice and dice him. He lowers your defence stat. Now you fight sir Tristram. At level 115, he will lower your strength. Pull out your dds and use stab attacks on him and a spec or two. Those three knights were the easy ones. Hopefully you didn't waste too much food or potions, you'll need them now. The next knight is sir Palomedes. He is level 118 and will lower your attack stat. He might be a pain in the butt because to efficiently kill him you'll need a crush weapon like a d b axe. the only downside is that poisoning him is very hard and the d b axe is slow. Luckily, He's the only one who's weak to crush, so you won't need your d b axe for much then on. Next comes Sir Lucan, level 120. He shouldn't be too much of a problem with a slash weapon. Poison him, then tear him up. He will lower your defence so be very careful as he will start hitting harder as your defence depletes. Sir Gawain is next. Dispite holding a hally, he will still hit you as fast as a longsword wielder would. Gawain lowers your attack stat and is weak to slash attacks. Next comes Sir Kay. You're almost done with these knights, there's just one more after this guy! Kay is level 124 and very painful. He lowers defence so be careful of hard, 20+ damage hits that are pretty common. Use a dds on the stab style to poison him quickly, then either hide or take him down with a d scimmy or dds. When the fight ends, heal yourself to the max as soon as possible, the final knight will be a pain. Now you will fight Sir Lancelot, Arthur's right-hand man. He is a strong level 127 who will deal a great amount of damage if you don't watch your stats. Instead of lowering one melee stat, he lowers TWO: strength and defence. This means that he'll be able to do more damage on you and you do less damage on him, the wordt possible combo for you! Make sure you never go below 10 levels down in those stats, use restore pots and the safe spot when needed to stay alive. Thankfully, since he lowers two stats, he also has 2 weaknesses: slash and crush. Now, you probably wont use crush much, but at least slash will make him a bit easy. Use all of your dds specs on him immediatly to hopefully poison him. Then you ca continue the fight with a slash weapon. However, if you're low on pots or food, there's an alternative way. after you use all your specs, he will hopefullu be poisoned. Go to the safe spot and let poison do damage. when your spec recharges, use the spec on him again to speed up the battle. Eventually, you will have defeated him! 8.0 The Rewards After the battle, you will be teleported outside. Merlin will reward you. The rewards: 20k exp in all combat stats, access to the new prayers (need 60 prayer for first one, 70 for the second one), and merlin can set your respawn point to Camelot! Congratulations on defeating the Knight Waves! Believe me, there are many ways to defeat these knights. I just used whatever stuff I had in my bank and managed to defeat em all at 96 combat. Browse this thread as some people have really interesting setups!

Spanking- a sexual offense?
I have to agree with that. Remember that 65 million dollar lawsuit over a missing pair of pants? Nowadays the Judicial branch scares me...

Spanking- a sexual offense?
What do you think guys? Could spanking count as a sex offence? Should the school have stopped it earlier? Should spanking even be an acceptable unofficial way of saying hello? IMO, I think that as long as the girls who were spanked think its ok and aren't complaining, then I see no problem with it. Its just a hit on the butt. The school should have definatly seen something earlier. If this practice became a way to say hello, that must mean its both pretty old ritual and its probably very common. However, I do think that if you have to slap someone's rear end to say hello, then there is something very wrong... Any thoughts?

24 July 2007 - King's Ransom
Are there any hally tactics for the knight killing thing? I see the dummy part but of course you cant hally there, and no doubt Jagex will remove it too... I like the idea of poison and run. So much for honor in battle

Am I misunderstanding or... Did we just get a... Oh boy
I don't care either way. I never use the party room, people with drop parties seldom go there, and free players get something that members find useless. I see no problem here. In fact, I think team capes would be put to good use in f2p as well.

Dragon Bone Prices Jump
Great. First the dragon visage, now this. Players are getting way too much motivation to kill dragons. Gah! this will ruin all my favorite dragon worlds for sure

Runescape in the news again...
Just typical. Blame our beloved game. Not as if tis our fault some idiot teen decides to make love to a 22 year old he met online, while the mom sits back ignoring the entire thing.

The ps2 has sold 96 Million more consoles than the X-Box
Now compare those stats to the Xbox 360 vs ps3. 360 had about 3 times more consoles sold. But I'm neutral either way. I'm a Nintendoean! (thats MY word nubcakes!)

Any Game Ever Scared The Crap Out of You?
Call of Duty 3. Walking through a destroyed home. All of a sudden out of nowhere when you go through a doorway A GERMAN SOLDIER JUMPS AT YOU WITH A KNIFE! It startled the crud out of me. Not very scary as much as it was startling, but ever since then I always went around corners VERY carefully. Also, I was playing some Xbox 360 game with a friend (I'm not an Xbox or M-rated game fan so I don't know the game name) I was fighting my friend in the game. He jumped at me out of nowhere and sliced me apart with a very loud chainsaw that scared the crud out of me.

The bible
The Bible contradicts itself, in the Genesis creation story God makes the earth first, then the stars, but other books of the Bible disagree with this. Meh, either way creationism is bunk. Why can't everyone get it through their blasted heads? the bible, especially Genesis and Revelation, are SYMBOLISM. Why the blasted hell is the world created in six days, when god probably can have made it in 10 seconds? ans if god is godly, why did he need to rest on the last day? the answer? Those "days" are symbols for the israeli work days. monday through saturday, work work work. sunday rest. that author used symbolism to show how close god is to his people. we all know very well that dinosaurs came before humans, so why are they not mentioned? the answer is, they WERE. Each "day" in that book can have varied from 20 minutes to 60 million years. the dinosaurs can have come, died, and evolution took place all in one "day". The earth was not created the same time as everything else. It could have been created millions of years after some things, depending on how long the "day" was. But its symbolism. The real point is not how the world was created, but a hint of who God is. Atheists and agnostics think they can find flaws in the bible and then point out that christianity must be wrong. but of course, what every blasted atheist can't seem to comprehend is that there's more SYMBOLISM in the bible then actual FACTS! Whats the point of the bible then? exactly what you're supposed to find. How to live a good life. but symbolism makes it basically a christian code that blocks out all idiots and anti-christs who believe the bible is flawed. I've posted several long posts on this thread and they seem to be ignored. I'm getting rather annoyed that nobody can comprehend the word "symbolism."

Janitors, lunch ladies, bus drivers, teachers etc..
Never, because I was raised to have respect for people from all walks of life. Unless of course they were completely rude and deserved it. I was just thinking out loud. Not necessarily everyone, but definatly SOME people here are probably hypocritical in their post on this thread.

Father vs Mother
I can't pick my parents. They are total opposities so they help me to be a little balanced. My dad is laid back, easy going, but always puts my family first before his own enjoyment. He drives 12 hours straight on our trip to canada while we fell asleep for most of the drive, relaxing. My dad works late at night and then wakes up at 7 in the morning to take us to school (about 3 hours of sleep) then comes home and does groceries. My mom is hardworking, she's the one who discliplines us how to keep our rooms clean, save electricity. She wakes up at 4 in the morning for work, then comes back at 5 in the evening and doesn't get sleep until we go to bed at 9. So I have my dad in the morning and mom in the evening. They had their schedules set just so one of them can be at the house at all times for me, my younger brother, and younger sister. How can I pick between the two?

Janitors, lunch ladies, bus drivers, teachers etc..
I'm surprised at seeing how many people say this is a childish and idiotic thing. Wonder how many times they've ever done it themselves or laughed with a friend when he did it. Hypocrites -.-

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I wouldn't consider myself a total Potter Head. I watch the movies one or 2 weeks after it came out, I reserve the books at the library instead of hunting them down in stores across the nation. I don't camp outside stores, I'm not a member of any website, I only own two of the videogames. Never go to the midnight parties, own very few potter accessories. Basically, I'm not addicted 8-) I enjoy the books, I'm the fifth on the reserve list at my library out of 110 reserves for the new one! ========= A funny story to add too. At my library, They were hosting a midnight party for Deathly Hallows. Of course, I didn't come, I had better things to do then dress up as a wizard 8-) . Well, at my library you can sort of pre-reserve the book as soon as the library orders it. So a week before the release there were 120+ reserves. On the Potter midnight party, everyone who came expected to walk out with the new Poter book checked out. Boy, were they surprised when ALL 56 of the library's ordered books were already reserved, and there were still 80+ people reserving it! :wall: OWNED!

Yea i see the ad a lot too. In fact, now those same websites with the ads altered their ad to say "shoot" the rapper, and you have to get a picture of him instead of shooting him.

The bible
What I've noticed here is that everyone seems to think the Bible is totally nonfiction how-to-live-a-christian-life guide. Everyone keeps forgetting that more than 2/3 of the bible is SYMBOLISM! Genesis? Almost entirely symbolism. The world was not created in six days. Those six days were based on the Israeli work days. first 6 days they work, sunday gives a break, just as God rested. So, in eternity speaking, those days can be any time, its just symbolism. So in that one day of creating living things, it can have been millions of years. the dinosaurs were created, died, and evolution took place all in one "day". now does that mean that every time it mentions days in the bible that means the same thing? no. There were dozens of different writers to the bible. not just one guy who made Genesis. They used different amounts of symbolism, different writing techniques. 6000 year old earth? maybe the writers who helped put that time reference in decided that those 6000 years were of great importance. after all, they most likely thought that the millions of years before that had little relevance to the faith. Thats the thing about the bible: its the perfect book. Not a single word is wasted. there is nothing in the bible that is useless info, everything has a meaning. its not just a book, its a LIBRARY of over 70 books in one, of dozens of human authors and the inspiration of god himself. It has about 6 different writing techniques, including symbolism. another example of symbolism is Revelation. What people don't realize (especially in the movie industry) is that revelation is ALL SYMBOLISM. What does revelation mean in Greek? it means the re-veiling. Its a part of the wedding, especially in Jewish tradition where they unveiled the bride then reveiled her before marriage. What does apocalypse mean in greek? it means the UN-VEILING. the WEDDING! revelation doesnt mean the end of the world book! it talks about the marriage of God and his bride, the earth. God united with his chosen people. during the time the author wrote the book during the persecution of christians, it basically meant "god is helping you like a loving father. Not always what movie directors think. "z0mg the number 23 is evil!!!!! run away!" "omggggggggg theres a number 666 were all gonna die!" The author of revelation (who calls himself john [revelation 1:6] may not necessarily be the disciple, but maybe a disciple of the original john) talked about a monster who forced all to worhsipm him and an assistant monster who made sure everyone did. He was referring to the emperor at the time who persecuted christians into worshiping him, and his assistant who punished those who worshipped god. Noah's ark? many say that that shows how god is cruel. However, again that is mostly symbolism. throughout the bible, water is a symbol for something else. read through a little of the old testament stories to figure out what that is. atheists don't seem to get it that there's so much symbolism. if they did realize that, what would they have to debate christians on besides pitiful stereotypes? so of course they continue their persistant sturggle "your bible is innacurate! that means your religion stinks!" I could go rambling on and on about the favorite bible stories for those whoo are against Jesus, and how those stories are really just symbolism for something else. though atheists and agnostics think they know more about the bible than christians do, they are forgetting the fact that only christians know just how much symbolism is in the bible, what is symbolism and what isn't.

Argh.. so effed off.
Thats the thing about people our age these days. if they act different, they must be gay.

Why do YOU use Tip.it?
I like it because of the community. Go on the runescape official forums and see how many immature posts there. On tipit, arguments can go on smoothly. There are no wannabe mods here, because being a mod isnt the same as being a god, as people think on RSOF. you should see how many people exclaim "z0mg mod post on page 32!!!!!!11111oneone!!!!!exclamationpoint!!!!!"
