I've been posting articles here for a while, and people like them. I copied the entire article here so nobody even has to click through to my site. Oh I didn't mean to come off as you were doing somethign wrong this article is quite interesting and a good read.

I understand this is helpful to lots of people but it is quite obvious you are trying to advertise.

It's more of a question. We the PKers, and Stakers are waiting for more counter-arguments from the people who post that the updates which screw over us are good.

I want to be able to achieve my goals without getting sidetracked constantly and be able to PK without worry of dieing to PJ'rs/1 itemers/rush&runners.

They should make it go by Server Area time although I can imagine this would be quite complicated.

Gotta be honest with you 91 RC is quite an unrealistic goal. I'm 50 RC and that was hard enough with 4 Defense.

I can say in complete honesty with confidence I would prefer RS with people manipulating prices as opposed to an RS with no trading, PK'Ing, or Staking.

Of course not. OT: In fact, I think Jagex have lost quite a bit of money considering they released the DD Summoning Diary not even on a Tuesday. If they have quite a lot of people cancelling memberships all of a sudden they are going to panic and say "Well tell them we're coming out with summoning so they don't quit and stay to see hwo cool that will be". Just a theory.

Brave? What was brave about that? It was pretty obvious YEARS ago that he was a price manipulator. God knows I had my fair share of arguements with him about his manipulative ways, only to eventually be ignored because he knew I was right. Granted, I wouldn't have pinned him as selling his GP back then, but now it makes sense as to why he was so hell bent on trying to manipulate the rares market. It's people like him that are destroying the game, not Jagex. Jagex has to do what they think they need to do. No matter how that effects the game. And when you get pseudo-intellects like R2 trying to make real money on a game... then yeah... you're going to have conflicts of intrest. The scary thing about it is, there really isn't a way around real world trading. Even if you completely eliminate the trade system. Jagex has to at least try and cut it back though. Just because he manipulated prices didn't make him.. *not brave*. And actually, if Jagex limits how much you can PK with, takes away dropping, takes away trading, then there is no way people can give items to another.

If you're wrong and all your brown nosing Jagex has gone to waste may I shove it in your face? I hope they won't, I think the Duel Arena tournament, after much thought, is good. It will help the economy, as it has already, I want my 5m to be worth something again. Oh and I think it will improve my post pointing this out, I am a level 70 pure, I lost 68m staking two days before the update.

Or have someone PK you, or trade it and tell them it's a loan till they get back on their feet, or die to poison/monster somewhere remote and have other player pick up. The possibilities are endless Jagex just [bleep]ed up staking.

Yeah I am pretty sure that never happened The wild was made up of people wearing no Armor, Addy, and Mith using their Dlongs and Lobs and then teleing when they were at 20hp.

Well right now we can stake items, but soon once the Grand Exchange comes out they are going to use the player-set prices from that and implement them into Duel Arena item stakes. Truly Jagex have [bleep]ed stakers.

Looks like it. I don't think they were happy with people making so much money from a single aspect of their game, especially so quickly (some people). And the fact that 80% of stakers probably transfer stuff as well. :roll: 80% of good stakers, who posses over 100m probably do, but not to a pure or main, to a Muel account. A muel is a low level account, not for training or skilling, but for holding valuable items that you feel more secure with on a different account. I see nothing wrong with that. MOST STAKERS DO NOT SELL FOR RL GP

But they're right. JAGeX have really screwed up staking. 3k in 15 minutes? They shouldn't put a cap on how much a player can bet vs another player, that's ridiculous. They really have killed off staking. But I don't think they will get away with it, if they don't decide to change it back I can guarantee there will be mass quittings. I'm a Pure, I'm level 70, I have made over 800M at Duel Arena, I haven't sold anything for RL GP, but they have cut the income for a LOT of people and this is a terrible update.

Honestly, I hope they do, but I doubt it.

Although I have pretty good non-combat stats for my level(70) I made most of my money from staking. Really I think this whole "not wanting to trade with drop-traders" is more of an anti-pure thing but then again I'm a pure and I always think that since Tip.It hates pures.

I think it would be neat if we could change the stat colors (Red, Green, Blue Yellow, Orange, etc) If I find any pics I'll post them

No - Plus that stat thing was leaked months ago.
