  1. Give me your tickets and go to the fight. Just kidding, go to the show and try to make part of the war if you can.

    1. ban all lvl 3's - most easiest solution and the most cruelest but i bet 99% of rs won't care for that Definate no. 99% of runescape may not care, but those couple thousand level 3 skillers certainly would. This would work... for around 5 minutes. The autoers get to level 4. Solution? Ban all the level 3's AND level 4's. The autoers become level 5... no problem to them, just another 5 minutes autoing chickens. Banning a certain range of players is the most idiotic idea. Ever. 2. make sure there is an visual code for creating an account. Good idea, no harm in this. 3. create a wall on the start and on the end of the tutorial island, ask them to repeat a number you gave them, in the same way bank pin is done. Annoying, but a good idea. 4. make a few pmod / jmod teams that for 1 day scourge all the tree spots in f2p and perhaps even in p2p. say there that any lvl 3 that will not respond in 30 seconds will get banned instantaneously, this will make sure all real macroers get a perm ban + you will be able to find family names which then can be banned as well First off, Pmods are just regular players, so the have no obligation to do anything. Second Jmods are paid workers. Jagex isn't going to hire more people to patrol 140 something worlds to stop a group of people who don't really harm their profits. Infact, every time jagex bans a p2p autoer, they are losing 5 usd a month. Hiring more Jmods would cut into their profits even more. 5. Limit amount of accounts to IP-adress to about 10, this will make sure family's have no chance of being created If someone really wants to make more accounts, they will change their IP. Simple as that. 6. make sure a certain IP-adress can make 1 account a week Same as number 5. However this would be more usefull, because they would have to change their IP for every new account. 1 week is a little low anyways. I'd say a 1 a month, because their is no reason to make that many accounts, except for claiming names you like. I agree on most points, except for number one. Number four is impractical for Jagex to do, but a good idea.
  4. Grats on 94 prayer and 113 combat.
  5. Bah... rich nubs ftl Nah, jks Liek z0m6! One year TIF anniversary ftw? Hawt, eh?
  6. Ofcourse, there will be a lot of restrictions, and that is neccesary. I'd sign for a RSN change though. I made my current one when I was 13 years old, somewhere in 2001.. I hate it, and I want to get rid of it. You think yours is bad... I'm not sure what i'd do tbh. As much as I hate my name, I've been Legolas61620 for the past 3 years and it has really become my runescape identity. If you could only change it once I'd just stick with my current name. It's pretty amusing getting comments about me no-lifing because they think I've had my name for like a week. Really my stats are horrible for 3+ years.
  7. I'll drop by if I can. If not, have fun and pwn some bots for me :
  8. I think fresi will probably make a video.
  9. Thanks for the graph dustin. Now that we've pulled off mass signature advertising, homepage advertising, and invited a few clans, I think everyone (including tip.it!) will be overwhelmed with our amount of opts. Dbz - you need to get everyone to pile on you, take a screenshot of the opts, I think this will be a time to remember. :P Our main worries would obviously be RSC, but their primary focus would be on the alliance. Sals pulled a good number of replies, but from past MSSW's I think we can assume they will be crushed by the tip.it powerhouse and/or RSC. The alliance is probably our biggest enemy. I don't know how dbz wants to approach this, but considering that we are not the primary target of the alliance, and they will be aiming for RSC, I think it would be best if we tried to take down them first. Perhaps we could somehow isolate each little fansite in the alliance if they don't stick together, just absolutely slaughter them and move on to the next. Or another strategy that I think RC tried last time (I think) - wait for the other fan sites to kill eachother, weaken their opts. Then attack when they are weak. It might be a strategy to consider. I'll leave that up to Dbz. If the numbers are any indication of turnout, Tip.it should be able to pull off an easy win. Strategy wise, mario's sounds like a good one, but the final decision should be up to dbz. I think we could probably kill indiscriminately if we get enough people to come though. Your best choices would be Dbzruler72, Mario Sunny, or Olympiana (Moonshadow on these forums). However, I'm willing to distribute them as well (Legolas61620).
  10. The war is in f2p, therefore: you can't use a karils crossbow, or onyk rune bolts, range isn't allowed anyways and if you use it you will be killed, teamcapes don't work in f2p, when you die in f2p you go to lumbridge no matter what, and there is no reason to make four posts in a row, just use the edit post button. Reading the first post is genrally a good idea : Misplacedme should probably change the post on the main page to be more clear, saying that it takes place in f2p and that any melee weapon is allowed, not just steel. Keep the posts coming.
  11. Thanks can't go his funeral..school ftl. That's sad... i hope you will be happy anyway. Grats on 80 cooking btw! can you imagine sharks in f2p? Hmm.... The possibilities... Lol yeah... It would be crazy :-k Yep, the p2p'ers would be mad... :uhh: Maybe not... P2p would be able to buy them from f2p too. this includes that the price will go down a lot because there will be a lot more! :ohnoes: Nah, definitely would expect riots. Lol. 12. I could see there being an entrance fee per member to join a clan war, and the winning clan could get the losing clan's entrance fee. Or they could do it like staking and you could put down a "bet" and the winner gets that. I think it would be related to the number of members participating though.
  13. Look at the table and find where it says the time that is now. If it's am where you are, look at the number in white, If it's pm look at the number in black. If you still don't understand, post your time in relation to gmt and someone will tell you.
  14. Nope, no returing after you've been killed, otherwise the fight would take hours. The part you may have misunderstood is that RSC is heavily favorited to win, and have done so in the past two steel wars. Because of this a treaty was proposed to ally against RSC in hopes to take them down. I think we declined, like dbzruler said, because RSC has the numbers and the clans, and they have the right to use them. Also a treaty shouldn't be needed, it is more of an unspoken thing that we go after RSC first. Plus, we wouldn't want people thinking Tip.it is to weak to fight for its self, would we?
  15. Thank you very much for putting this on the main paige misplacedme :
  16. I think people consider Runescape a "Game for nerds" because of the fact that you need to level. Most people like games that the ammount of time played isn't the most important part, but skill and reflexes. I also think people may assume this due to the combat system. Poke *10* Poke *0* Poke *8* you eat a lobster poke *0* and so on. To say the least, something like this is going to be a major flaw to the people who have been playing games with a combat system that requires more involvement. Or they could just be idiots :-$

Actually I think your wrong in that estimate, go to any market world, you'll find alot more Macroers than normal players, go to any yew, willow, oak trees, guess what, more macroers, go to any training spot, alot of macroes including non RWT that are after combat, go to cow field, guessed again? more macroer! go to lobster fishing spots... i think you get the pattern. I believe about 35% - 40% is a good estimate in my opinion. I don't think 3 world with a max capacity of 2000 players is going to change the numbers by 10-15%. Even if you factored in that every single player on those three worlds was a macro (a massive over estimation) and add in 6000 players to the numbers, you still come out with 29%. A more realistic estimation of 600 on each of these worlds, adding an 600 more macros (an extra 200 per world), giving you 29400 macros, or 24.5%. This is also alot higher than it probably really is. You obviously didn't do any research to come up with these numbers, and probably were just trying to out do Moonshadow's post, which may be impossible due to its sheer awesomeness.
  19. Even if they do change their mind, I don't think RC will be that big of a threat. Our huge opts will absolutely slaughter them if we ever meet a batch of orange capers. :) Yeah, it doesn't look like they have many people coming so far. It looked that way last year for us (RuneCrypt) but in the end we were recognised for our organisation in the fight. :) Some quotes from last year's topic on Runescape Community: We went in as the under-dog and I think we did exceptionally well. This year we go back in as the under-dog against the alliance, and the two biggest fansites but we will try our best. My plan as the leader is that we will focus on RSC without joining the alliance, I think there is an unspoken alliance that everyone wants RSC out of the war early this year regardless of whether or not we may be in the alliance or not. Good luck Tip It! :D Good luck to Runecrypts aswell :
  20. In comes contruction skill for war machines  Sounds pretty cool imo.
