This is NOT a request for skillcapes of any kind for f2p. News : RSOF thread restarted. Quick Find Code is: 77-78-995-58649862 Short Version: Make skillcapes wearable, not obtainable, in f2p. My idea is that skillcapes must still be bought in members but are f2p. This means that they can be taken off and worn again in free worlds. This does not mean that free players can buy skill capes. This will benefit former members that own skill capes and members that are taking a break from P2P. Some members items are available to free players. Colored gloves and some treasure trail items can only be obtained in members worlds. These items are for show. Skill capes are untradable but serve the same purpose. I'd think of it as a thank you from Jagex to the players that have played long enough to recieve a skill cape. Skill capes wouldn't be annoying and the incentive to join members to get skill capes would still be there. Reasons of why this would be useful: -Able to take off cape so you won't get bothered by people asking you to do your skill cape emote -Able to wear team capes to clan events -Able to wear any cape for any purpose -Able to change default clothing from clothes shop (must take off cape to change appearance at the moment) -Able to ride gnome copter (must take off cape to ride and is required to finish the lumbridge achievement diary) -Able to switch between multiple skill capes for members and f2p -Able to wear holiday event capes, such as the Chocotrice cape and the Warlock/Witch cape (credit to Kaida23) -Defence bonus (debatable) -Other will be able to see that you are 99 in a skill and ask for assistance more easily, instead of shouting out "Need level 90+ smither assistance!" (credit to Angat14) -Be able to re-equip your cape as you may have died to a [monster] or something and was able to pick up your cape from your grave but unable to wear it again (credit to Angat14) -Convenient for players that go f2p for a month (credit to n00bfiterpk6) -Would allow players to do Bounty Hunter and PvP worlds and events like the MSSW(credit to Caromon) -Please contribute more! Turns out it was a problem with Java itself. Reinstalling it seems to have worked.

The "/" is placed infront automatically by the computer. Read and write boxes were already checked and it isn't archived. Still not working.

This idea evolved from the idea that a person's inventory and what he was wearing wasn't protected by the bank pin. A person might have to leave unexpectedly or is training in a secluded area far from a bank.

The password is the not the same idea as this. It's an extra security barrier, and I'm guessing it would be different than the bank pin, although and extra thing to remember it would definitely help security. It's a simple idea that could definitely help. Cons... If someone installs Spyware on your computer, it's likely they will find out this Pin number as well. Really the most effective way to keep your account safe is to stay away from any suspicious Runescape sites, and only use your Runescape password for Runescape. Actually, it would not be millions of combinations. Ten to the fourth power is 10,000. It is very easy to run through the combinations if someone tried one combination every 10 seconds. For a hacker, 27 hours, 46 minutes, and 40 seconds is not very long. So, your statement about there being millions of combinations is falsified and it would only take a period of two days to hack your account with a keylogger on your computer. Yes, I support the idea, but I just want to point out to you that it would not take very long for a hacker to try every possible PIN combination. That's what I happened to be telling afatbomba, seeing as a keylogger with constant video recording would bog down a PC, and would effectively alert a user that their PC is not running right. No, we will still need this protection added. If any hacker who wishes to do damage breaks past a user's password and logs in, at the moment, the hacker has effectively free access to a user's inventory and equipped gear, to cause damage to as they please, as well as kill the player's character and send them back to the respawn point without all the stuff. ~Mr. D.
