Cat training medal
Straight from the Varrock Achievement Diary page here at tip.it: So we know you can't earn a medal with a Wily cat. The Kitten Care guide says: Go get your medal before your cat turns Wily.

f2p chopping willows
i have never seen a willow at edge, where abouts is it? Due east of the bank, just past the new forge.

UFO pics (not little green men in flying saucers)
Several people have already said this, but it bears repeating: Just because it's unidentified doesn't mean it's alien. In one of Sagan's books he talks about UFOs and hints that a lot of them are just classified military projects. Scientists and the military all know what the UFOs are - but they can't come out and debunk the UFO claims because they'd be revealing military secrets if they did. For example, back in the 50s and 60s people used to report flying skipping objects in the night sky. No one could debunk those at the time without revealing classified info. But now we know that those were ballistic missile tests. We were trying to skip objects across the atmosphere at distant targets. Why? To deceive Soviet early warning systems. When a government is testing black box projects, it is to their advantage to let the public believe whatever it wishes and to not reveal the truth behind the "UFO." I certainly believe it's unlikely that aliens are visiting or observing us. They certainly aren't traveling across the galaxy to write graffiti in our wheat fields.

f2p chopping willows
I use the willow at Edge bank, as I like to bank my logs. Sure, it's only one tree - but it's also one click to the bank. And it's never crowded (like Draynor is).

Cost of Varrock Armour Replacement
OK I am calling you out now with a screen cap. Because it doesn't say anything about it being free or not free. Not only did you not answer the question, but you are acting like a jerk. -2 for you. To further elaborate, I am in F2P this month and I am thinking of dropping the armour for bank space (if it's free to replace). I can't test this out for myself.

Cost of Varrock Armour Replacement
I know which NPCs can replace it... but what I need to know is will they charge me any money to replace it?

New item database tool: equipment builder
Nice idea. But pop-ups are so 1997. An expandable / collapsible menu for each equipable spot would be nice. Something like this: http://www.flooble.com/scripts/expand.php It also means we don't have to worry about spelling errors when we enter items, as opposed to searching the database. A diamond in the rough, this is.

Where to Sell Seeds
Forums are the best places to sell seeds for sure. If you insist on standing in a bank and hocking seeds, try Catherby bank on busy worlds.

Is swiftswitch legal?
People argue back and forth a lot on this. On the Jagex Forums, quick find this thread: 14-15-270-51690087 If you ever see a Jagex mod speak about SS, it's always to say it's not recommended. They never come out and phrase it exactly as "using Swift Switch is against the rules or our Terms of Service." It's as if they just don't want to slap the bull. This is why there is so much ambiguity and confusion. If Jagex put up a static page somewhere mentioning SS by name and saying it's against the rules, there would be no doubt. Notice that they don't do this. Illegal? I don't think it's a matter of breaking laws. Against the rules? That's a different matter. I personally don't use it myself.

Goblin Book
This page claims there is no use for goblin books. I have found that you can put them on the bookshelves in your POH.

Cheaper Varrok store prices?
I'd expect you would get a better price at Horvik's for your steel and iron plates. EDIT - With Armor #3, Horvick's price for iron and steel plates is the high alch price (450, 1500) at first and gets lower the more you sell. So there's the smithing angle once again.

Why is tip.it behind Zybez on google?
If you look at the source code of each page, you will notice that Zybez managed to crowbar the word "Runescape" into the description 6 times. Then go look at tip.it's source code - only once. Google ranking is a bit of a black art. If you search Yahoo!, you see tip.it is #3 (behind Jagex and the Wikipedia entry for Runescape). Look at the Zybez code again and search for "mmoads." :shame: But they don't support gold farming or real-world trading, oh no how dare anyone suggest that. They just take ad money from those sites and publicize them. But that's not the same as supporting them, oh no don't even dare suggest that. GMAFB.

18 September 2007 - The ZMI Altar
I personally think this method to 75 is a better plan than this method to 92. Once you get all 4 pouches, other methods become more financially viable (using Karamja gloves to craft nats, for example).

18 September 2007 - The ZMI Altar
I personally RC to make runes (for personal use). This looks like XP just for the sake of XP, and I can train Hunter if I want that. :P I can see where stat grinders will like the update, though.

Kafei's Guide To Quick Brimhaven Gold Mining
Well, Ardy teleports will cost you at least 1 space; more if you use runes instead of tablets. And they also cost you 2 law runes per teleport. That's at least twice as expensive as just paying the cart puller. I doubt the fairy method is any faster. And if the times are the same, my method wins because you can bank 28 ores per trip. You can't do that with the rings, because you have to have a staff, pick and whistle to use that method. Two of those items will have to be carried in your pack. 2 ores per trip definitely adds up over the long run. That's 20 ores per hour. I will do some formal testing of the Whistle method later tonight and post those times as a comparison.

Kafei's Guide To Quick Brimhaven Gold Mining
This is a variant of the Grail Whistle method that I have been utilizing lately. I thought I'd share (in the hope of lowering gold ore prices). Requirements: Level 40 Mining Karamja Gloves #3 (the hard ones) a pick Helpful: Varrock Armour #3 (for the multiple mining hits) Level 41 Combat (so the poison scorpions will be non-aggressive to you) Weight-reducing gear (boots of lightness, hunter capes) Here's two connect-the-dot maps for those of you unfamiliar with the area. (1) Start in Shilo Bank. Equip a pickaxe in your weapons slot. Withdraw 10 coins. (2) Take the cart to Brimhaven via the quick-pay method (10 coins). Your inventory is now empty. (3) Run northwest along the shore until you reach the Hallowed Ring of Gold, holy site to all miners. (4) Start mining. Also, pick up the ore spawn as you go by. Mine until you are full. (5) Operate your gloves for a quick transport back to Shilo. Climb the ladder, run to the bank your and deposit your ores, withdraw 10 more coins and go back to step (2). I found that I was always able to run, never wearing down to walking speed. Your own agility level will have some bearing on your results. I found I was able to get back to the Hallowed Ring before all the rocks had respawned consistently. I was not wearing boots of lightness or spotted capes. You might need to, though the actual distance you travel on foot is not long. I have found that I can complete a loop in 6 minutes; 10 loops per hour. 28 ores * 65 xp * 10 loops = 18,200 xp per hour. That's a lousy experience rate compared to powermining, I know. But our goal is to bank as many ores as we can per hour, as cheaply as possible. This nets us 280 ores per hour. At 450 each (conservative estimate), that's a net income of 126,000gp per hour. That's what I'm talkin' about! The advantage over the Arzinian mines is that you get to bank 28 ores every time at a cost of 10 coins per load. The advantage over the Grail Whistle method is that it's slightly less cumbersome than dialing the ring every time. You also don't have to carry the whistle and staff, so you bank 2 more ores per trip. Supporting figures are at the bottom of this post. ===== I have done some time trials of the Whistle method. I found I was able to complete a loop in 5:50 (350 seconds) on average. This comes out to 10 2/7 laps per hour, 26 ores per loop. Whistle Method: 10 2/7 laps * 26 ores = 267 ores per hour Kafei Method: 10 laps * 28 ores = 280 ores per hour. You might argue that the Whistle method is cheaper, and you would be right. Since Jagex has modified the way Karamja Gloves affect the cart pullers, this is a non-issue. Ten coins per load is insignificant. Constructive criticism always appreciated.

Do you use other RS Fansite Forums than Tip.it?
I have a dormant account on Zybez/RSC that I no longer use. I look at a lot of fansites, but Jagex Forums and here are the only places I really post.
