  1. We have a royal family (Sweden). I have no problem with it, i want to keep it. It is somethign which i like, to keep an old tradition alive. I don't care about those who say "oh it should be equal for everyone"... Blablabla, it will never be equal for everyone. And they don't cost much to run, about 40 million kr (4 million) a year. We spend so much money on everything else, so it wouldn't boost the economy anyways.
  2. Difficult to put into search bar? lol http://www.openoffice.org/
  3. Rush - Heart Full of Soul (Yardbirds cover)
  4. The amps on the 12v rail on that psu is a bit low. My suggestion: Rosewill 400w - 34$

    Yep. I think Dragoonson's turn?
  6. OldJoe replied to Danqazmlp's topic in Off-Topic
Easy to guess, but i thought i'd try to keep this topic alive. [hide=What's this?][/hide]
  7. Rush - Far Cry
  8. Nadril and Sbrideau have already asked without you answering, tell the total wattage, and the wattage on the 12v line/s and the amps on that, manufacturer would be good too. I won't advice on anything until you give me those specs.
  9. A kilometer to me is something shorter slightly shorter than a mile. It at least gives me some perspective. :D 1 mile is about 1600m. Anyways, i've grown up with metric system. I do know the imperial system too, but i find the metric system a hell of a lot easier.
  10. Bouwzie is completely right. If i were to translate the title, i too would choose My Fight. Of course, My Struggle, would work in the way of his difficult childhood and being rejected as a painter, as well as other areas too. I am currently reading volume 1, swedish translation (got the 2nd one aswell). I haven't been able to read much yet tho, been quite busy. And i have heard that Max Amman, the head of the publishing, is the one to have suggested Mein Kampf as a title.
  11. Not that anyone cares what i say, but if i got a new OS now... I probably would get Vista. That being said, i prefer XP. But yeah... Get Vista 64-bit, i think Microsoft will offer a free upgrade to Win7 (i think i've heard it some month ago).
  12. On the outside it's ok. But don't use it while cleaning inside yor computer, if you'd manage to touch a component, chances are it would get fried. Just because you've been fine so far doesn't mean it's gonna be a stroll in the park for ever. I really advice on a can of compressed air. Actually we use a vacuum cleaner with a plastic nozzle to clean inside of PCs all the time, nothing wrong with that, I usually use a little brush to dislodge the the dust from fans etc. We also have an air compressor, it totally depends of the situation. One of the best solutions is to use both as you shouldn't be blowing dust into the air, some people suffer from allergies etc. Yes, an air compressor would be the ideal thing, but not everyone has it in their house. A can of compressed air will do the trick just as good and is quite alot cheaper. Compressed air works much better in getting away the dust, as a vaccum cleaner is much bigger and you can't really get near in crammed spaces and a greater risk for ESD. And you still have the problem with possibility of water and oil in a normal garage compressor (don't know what type you got). You have the fluid problem on a can too, but it's less of a problem compared to a common compressor. I have a long text about ESD and vaccum cleaners, a guy on a forum (sweclockers) wrote to a professor at Örebro Universitet, called Dag Stranneby, which have classes in ESD and research. But i'm not gonna translate it all, the conclusion is: Rubber-end and plastic end is not to be preferred. The power cord should be attatched if it's grounded. You yourself should be grounded to the computer case. The end of the vaccum cleaner (the "mouth") should be of metal, which should be grounded with a wire. The power button on the PSU should be off. http://www.sweclockers.com/forum/showth ... did=230416 (down to ESD och Dammsugning vs Tryckluft) feel free to translate with google. I still maintain that a can of compressed air is the best option.
  13. Joes build is great. I'm too tired to dig up an old build by myself. And i must say, i'm agreeing with Mylez. I have used Vista and XP and XP is the winner. Vista is just too much of a resource hog. Didn't have any driver problems or anything. XP starts up faster than Vista, closes down faster, using alot less ram and get more points in 3DMark 06. * http://sweclockers.com/articles_show.php?id=6147&page=6 - system. *= http://sweclockers.com/articles_show.php?id=6147&page=7 - source.

I passed. After 10 seconds i wanted to punch thru the wall because of that god damn [bleep]ing noise.
  15. These are just some that i could think of. Make schools and hospitals a more attractive place to work in, mainly by raising the salary. But also in school, tougher rules for the kids so the teacher doesn't have headache each day. Lower the tax on snus (swedish tobacco product) by 5kr (50cent ). Encourage companies to research and come up with new technology that is less harmful to the environment by cutting taxes for such a company. Make it easier for people to start up their own business (review the laws and regulations) Making it easier for construction companies to build new houses (between 2006 and 2010 we are building half of the houses we should be building), for example; banks demanding less cash capital (i understand that due to the current economic times it would be hard, but houses needs to be built). Rebuild the army (just look at how unstable Russia is), with mandatory military service for guys. But not just spending more money, making sure that the whole Armed Forces divisions are as cost-efficient as possible. Temporary stop all immigration (those that work in a field that needs workers are welcome, but noone else). The current situation is not good. People are loosing jobs quick as hell here currently, the finance minister said that if the governments prediction comes true, 12% (550k) will be unemployed in 2011 (currently 387k are unemployed). And don't start with the crap about we must continue immigration because of all the ones born in the 40's will be pensioners in 5 years. Alot of them have bad grades, no real thought out future for themselves and speak very poor swedish. The integration is a complete joke. So, isn't it better to integrate those who are already here than to continue taking in 100k (2008) per year which will lead to less and less integration? Send people back to their home country if they have commited 3 or more crimes (depending on what crime/s). * Remove the Television licence (fee for public service TV). Remove the government funding for museums, media and art that cannot stand on it's own feet without it. Increase the police force with severals thousands. Also, remove the IPRED law and divert 80% of the current people working with that to other types of more harmful internet crimes. Review and raise the number of minimum and maximum years on certain sentences. Tie the Swedish krona to Euro (but not change it to Euro), as it would be more stable in financially bad times (such as these). *= If you want sources and more text, i'll post it here or pm depending on what you want.
  16. I have no idea where you live, so i took a guess on Germany. /WF06b/321957-321957-3329744-64354-64354-3837623-3924941.html]http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/de/de/[garden tool] ... 24941.html Intel® Core 2 Duo Prozessor P7450, 2,13 GHz , 3 MB Level-2-Cache (2 x 2048 MB) (ram) 500 GB (sata, 5400rpm) Lightscribe Super Multi DVD-Brenner (+/-R +/-RW) mit Double-Layer-Unterstützung 17" WXGA+ High-Definition Entspiegeltes Display mit Infinity BrightView - 1440 x 900 NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT Vista Premium 32-bit (you can probably change it to 64-bit) =799
  17. Please, no sticky. There's enough already. WOT, as Mage pointed out, is great. It's great when searching for something and you don't know what sites you're visiting.
  18. Depends on what speed you've paid for. Just because the avarage is higher than yours doesn't mean you have the same speed as others but getting lower speed still. And speedtest is a bit weird, it's off with 2 on download and .5 on upload for me.
  19. Doesn't work. All these rumours with bananas, toothpaste etc... Doesn't work. The idea is that the crystals would fill the scratch, nice in theory, but fails in practice.
  20. This thread seem to have a couple of drunks. I use the same technique as Clare wrote, works for me. Otherwise, return it for a new copy.
  21. 8800GT and 9800GT doesn't perform any different, slightly less heat on the later one maybe. Mylez, i think you had a 8800GTS 320mb before? Of course the 9800GT blows it out of the space. But the 88 and 98gt aren't different except a couple of things.
  22. Why? It's what i think. I'm not christian or anything, but it's just my viewpoint that marriage should be between a man and a woman, and nothing else.
  23. Time for some general political incorrectness. I'm surprised that this is happening in the US, but maybe Iowa is one of the more open states (i have no idea)? Same thing happend in Sweden, you can get married by the state as gays but not in a chruch. I can't say i agree with this. While i respect and have no general problem with gays, i do think that marriage should be between a man and a woman.
