I don't smoke regularly, i use snus. I prefer having a cigar once in a while, really in the summer... BBQ, some friends, beer and then a cigar... Ah - simple and enjoyable. Sometimes i'm annoyed that you can't smoke in the pub here, but in the end, i think it's good that you can't. There are a couple of bars that have these smoking rooms with ventilation, works quite well (but the staff didn't like that i was drinking there too lol). I get quite annoyed by these people who say "don't you know tobacco is bad for you?!" but never say anything about an overweight person who's eating a large meal at a resturant (as that would be political incorrect).
  2. Do as Pryo says, try another browser (IE or Opera) and reinstall Firefox too. Try again. Might i ask which cpu, how much memory and which OS you got?
  3. I don't believe you. There's too many lefties in the world for people to consider it abnormal. I'm a 'rightie', as one guy I know calls me, and I'm all about maths and science, and I have the creative capacity of a walnut. The 'left handedness correlates with creativity' theory might well be true, and if it is, it's got something to do with the hemispheres of the brain. I think this might very well be correct. Because my grandfather (moms), who was born in... 1918/20 something, was left handed. He had to learn to write with right hand too, because it was considerd "abnormal". So later on, he was able to write with both hands.

Hm, eating some dinner atm. Might buy a used chassi (Sonata III), waiting on some photos from the seller. Otherwise not much, been listening to old Metallica albums all day. Well, gonna make some coffee. Edit: Ah right, started playing RS again yesterday after 5 months absence.
  5. Metallica - Fade To Black
  6. Rush - Force Ten (R30 dvd, good stuff)

Well... I think it's more internet hooligans and kids? But i agree with you, these kind of threads (no matter which forum) usually turns to "sucks" or "they rule". Let's listen to some Rush and have an imaginary beer. hey look, someone that i am more metal than. hi there! what's going on? ps: ps: ps: <3<3<3 I seem to have forgotten the third type, the fascist troll.

  9. You must have clicked trial-pay link. http://download.cnet.com/Avira-AntiVir- ... d=11012914 Ah btw, you'll also need a firewall. Either go with your windows one, or download comodo or zonealarm.
  10. Moby - Whispering Wind
  11. Not a fan of fancy words. I swear quite alot (no i'm not 14 years old), way more than i do here. On the topic of swearing, i've decided, if i ever were to be interviewed on mtv (i don't watch that channel since a few years back, but if they still have their "non swearing" policy left then the following is valid), i would only be swearing. Apart from the fact that i hate the channel, i think it would be a good interview - dubbed the "beep" interview.
  12. Budget, amps on the 12v rail(s) and if there are pci-e connector(s) on the psu and how many empty molex cables there are, also brand would be good to know.
  13. I'm left handed, uses right hand for mouse. I've never cared much for software, and never wanted to learn programming&etc either. On the other hand (pun intended lol), i'm very intrested in hardware. There are loads and loads better than me, but it's my best area. Knows basic overclocking too (both gpu/cpu). I read on a daily basis different hardware sites, both forums, tests and news. I don't think it has much to do with wheter you're left or right-handed tho.
  14. Suecia! I do have a great deal of respect for my country, and i do like it. I would join the army if we were attacked, no doubt. I have no need for running around in flag-shirts, viking shirts etc... Just to show that i like this country. It feels, well a bit like you're unsure about your country if you have to salute it every 5th minute. But i don't like what's becoming of it, for the last 30 years. The thing that is most [bleep]ed up in this country, is the immigration. You can't question it without being called a racist or xenophobiac. The Swedish Democrats for example, sure, 20+ years ago they were a bit crazy, and some "questionable members". But that's been flushed out long ago. A writer/journalist (Jan Guillou, left/socialdemocrat) wrote about them in january this year, pointing out that in the end, he didn't find anything racist or hidden agenda at all. And what does the tabloid-papers do? To wash away this "justification", they go on about their history, interviewing people from the past etc... I mean... It's really funny, and sad, at the same time. And to continue, you can't even sing the bloody national anthem in some schools here at the end of the year. Why? Because it's deemed "racist"... I mean, what the [bleep]?! The term racist is so overused in Sweden. I could go on for a long time about this, but i feel it probably wouldn't serve this topic much good. So, let me summarize. I like my country, but i don't like what's becoming of it.
  15. I wouldn't even trust a 9500gt with those specs, atleast not the psu. If you want anything better than a 9500gt (because of your specs, your parts will bottleneck any better card than the 9500gt). And the psu is too weak. You'll need to upgrade your whole computer for anything better than a 9500gt, and even if you want that, you'll need a new psu.
  16. Windows uninstall panel doesn't do the trick? It should. My moms computer had Norton once, and it was just to uninstall it. Otherwise try CCleaner. Uninstall all components from Norton. Pick up Avira (free) and combine with either windows firewall, comodo or zonealarm. Mix it all with ad-aware or spybot:search&destroy and you are good to go. Btw, Norton 09, as far as i can remember, scored very good in latest tests at av-comparatives.

I'm waiting for the Invasion mod to be released for UT2007 (i hate that they use 3, it's the 4th bloody game!). If it ever gets around to being released, sure i'll pick up a copy of the game, until then, i don't feel much like playing. It's very nice and all... I don't know... I just prefer UT2K4 i guess.
  18. yea i think we're watching that in my history class, is it the one where Rohm is played by that mafia guy from Prison Break S1 we only watched the first part we're gonna watch the second a bit later when we get up to it Hm, i've never watched Prison Break... Do you mean Peter Stormare? If so, yes, it's the same series. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler:_The_Rise_of_Evil
  19. I didn't want to write in this thread, but i'll give it a shot anyways. CPU will bottleneck, and it's old. Pick atleast a 7750 and clock it. Or pick a quad. See Gigabytes homepage for support list on cpus on that mobo. And remove the OS sentence in your parts list, it's not very cool to publically jump around saying you got a "free" version.
  20. Most recent one was this week, burned (correct word?) three finger tips on right hand, i couldn't sleep without having an icebag on it. It's getting better now tho. Worst tho, was when i was 12. Played football (soccer) and broke my left lower leg and also tore off the tendons there. Had a cast on for 8 weeks. I also think i damaged some nerve at the ankle, because if i touch in a certain place, it feels like an "electric impulse", i guess is the best word to describe it. Sprained both my ankels 7-10 times also. Oh and, a year ago, i fell when i was drunk. The knee got some nice addition of new scars, but my left hand! Hoho, i had a small stone lodged in about 4mm into the hand... I hate going to the docor, so i managed to get it out myself with a pincette.
  21. Hababadidabba program! Or you can go for Avast or Avira, i wouldn't recommend AVG. Combine with a firewall (windows one or zonealarm or comdo).
  22. Ah now i redid it, spent some more time reading the questions this time. This is more accurate for me. Economic Left/Right: 3.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 3.13 Nearest Kevin Rudd, which is strange, as he represents the centre-left party.
  23. Post your cpu (+speed), ram (+speed) and your psu specs. Would be kinda stupid to buy a GTX285 if you have a E7200 for example. Also make sure you have enough space for card x in your case. And as Dracion says, DX11 cards will be out later this year. So i think (without knowing your specs) perhaps a GTX260 (SP216) is your best option. DX10 cards will be able to play DX11, but with some features turned off.
  24. Hitler: The Rise of Evil. I'm usually not much for English in historic films (when they portray a non english country), but this 2-part series is so damn well made. 3rd time i've watched. Rise of the Footsoldier: A bit hard to follow the plot, but overall a good and intresting movie (based on a true story). The Football Factory: I enjoy watching the Premiership, but never understood hooliganism. A well made movie, "easy" to watch. The Bourne series: Damn i like these kinda movies! They are straight 9's. 3rd time i've watched them. I'm looking forward to the 4th one. Tomorrow i'm gonna watch the "E" documentary about Jenna Jameson, already seen it once, but thought i might aswell check it again.
  25. Economic Left/Right: -1.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.79 Pope Benedict 16th... Hm, i'm an agnostic person. Wtfk? I'm not a left-wing party person!
