What are the best games you've ever played?
Total Annihilation. I have played many games over the years, some old - some new, some very good: Assassins Creed, Supreme Commander, Virtua Tennis 2, Shenmue1&2, Unreal Tournament&2004, Abe Oddysee/Exoduss (sp?), Perfect Dark, Lemmings (Amiga), RSC, and many more... But i have never enjoyed a game as much as Total Annihilation, it is an absolutly fabolous game - A perfect 10 out of 10.

Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture- Who makes you laugh?
Lol, Killinggänget. Veyron i Ottan! Hm, i guess Eddie Izzard, Peter Kay, John Cleese and Rowan Atkinson.- Computer won't start up
I see. Yes i mean, the computer isn't really worth upgrading (the psu(?) you bought can be used in a new desktop or sell if they don't accept you returning it). If you find a socket 939 mobo for 20$-ish it's worth it, but otherwise you can always keep some of the parts for a later computer or so. If you aren't gaming beoynd RS, you don't really need to spend much on a laptop. Well, good luck!- Computer won't start up
Oo damn. I hope you can return the psu if you don't want to keep it (which did you order btw?). As others have said, the mobo has probably gone kaputt... And the problem with the motherboard is that it's socket 939, which isn't produced anymore. I don't know if anyone you know has it too... If so, you could try hooking up your stuff to his/her motherboard and see. There should be some used 939 mobos that you could buy for 20$ or so... Might be worth a shot. Also, have you tried booting up without the graphics card, cd/dvd drive etc..? I would try that first...You never know.- Computer won't start up
That card doesn't draw much power, it -should- be fine. But since the psu is pretty old and degrades a little bit every year... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817139008 - Corsair 400w, 50$ (30$ after rebate!). This is the primary one i'd recommend, you only pay 30$ after rebate and you get free shipping. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817256032 - Silverstone 400w, 45$ (30$ after rebate!), another great choice. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817104935 - FSP 400w, 45$, another great manufacturer. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817256019 - Silverstone 350w, 40$, yet another good one. I would firstly advice you checking some videos (youtube or alike), since my text-how-to isn't that great. Turn off the computer and the powersupply. Unhook every cable (monitor, power etc). Open up the case (easier having it laying down on the other side of the case), ground your self (touching a radiator or an unpainted metal-object (door nob or so)), since you've already installed a graphics card and ram i guess you know this. Unhook all the connections from the psu - cpu power connector, main power connector, drives etc. Get a star-screw driver, hold the psu (so it doesn't fall down and hurt your other hardware) while screwing out the screws (the 4 screws on the outside back on the case), remove the psu. Place the psu with fan down or up (as how the old psu was), screw into place. Attach the necessary cables, and hide away the undused cables with cable ties. Close the case and attach the monitor, power etc cables. Boot up!- Computer won't start up
http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/5891/5891nv.shtml - this is yours, yes? They offered 3 300w psu's for that computer, 2 said ATX so i guess that the third one also follows the ATX standard. Can you tell me what graphics card you bought and what budget you have for the PSU? Replacing the PSU is very easy, i'll tell you how if you like (there should also be some videos on youtube).- Gluttons Unite!
Yuck, the first picture looks like intestines lol. And wtfk is the last picture? It looks like... someone who's been eating too much beans... I just checked the site... I found this. It's not as gross as those you posted... But it just looks... Weird.- what operating system do you use!!
I would, altho my *nix knowledge is 0.1% lol. I don't know how that would take place, got any ideas? There's quite a few who uses it here, so i don't think there would be a problem getting some people for it.- Count to ~200~ before a mod posts - fifth round

So killing replaces a crummy court system? Then you have [bleep] up death sentences instead of a [bleep] up court system. Not replacing, but it would be a good addition. I really hate how people can kill a person and then get sent out after 20 years. It should be a full life-sentence, not something that you can get away with pretty easily. I don't mean that the two example of cases i posted should be equal to death, but that you need a better and more firm courtsystem, harder sentences and if someone is raping or killing 2 or more - death sentence.- Awww, how could this make you not want to switch to Windows?
I would say that this doesn't hold much discussion value. It will probably turn into a flame war. Better suited in that "new" big OS thread i think. But anyways, better commercial than those with Seinfeld, which sucked.- China's Death Vehicles
Sounds good. People are screwing around too much these days and aren't getting enough punishment for their crimes. I mean like, my "fun" country: 25 immigrants assulted 1(!) girl in in a tunnel until she lost consciousness, police has 40 statements and a 150-page investigation, and her friends told the police the name of some of them but they never got arrested. So, the case gets closed! Or how about the 15 year old girl who got assulted and raped by an 43-year old, the lawyer had planend senteced him to 7 (i would prefer his whole life) years in jail, but the case is dropped. Why? Because he had threatned her and her family to kill them (but there's no evidence of it (recorded message..)). The girl tells the court that she "made up the story and had fallen on ice". These are just two examples of a [bleep]ed up court system. So, i would very much welcome the Chinese model.- The ultimate questioN: Ninja's or Pirates?
[hide=][/hide] Ok, i guess it isn't really fair to combat pirates with a god... Hehe. But yes, Vikings, of course!- what operating system do you use!!
XP. I've tried Vista with my computer, but it's really too much of a resource hog. XP on my hd will live on until the end of this year, getting replaced by Win7. I want to try OpenSolaris, but then i need to partition my hd... I'm so lazy...- Build The Cheapest Gaming Computer - Fun Topic
Raidmax case+450w psu - 50$ AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 - 67$ Elitegroup AM2/+ mobo - 63$ (case is atx, but it works) Patriot 4GB PC2 6400 - 50$ WD Caviar 320gb - 70$ Asus Cd/dvd read/write sata - 26$ Powercolor 4670 1gb gddr3 - 90$ =416$ With rebates=346$! So, it's very possible to get a cheap gaming rig! Then 100$ for a Windows OS, or 0 if you go with Ubuntu (or another *nix). (yes, i was bored...)- Valentines Day (Singles Awareness Day) Will Soon Be Upon Us.
I have no idea, since i'm single. Some friends are going to the pub in the evening, but i just feel like pigging out... Crisps, pepsi, pizza and some Rambo movies!- Do any need any more protection? Should I change?
I see, 6 year license. Is this something they will bring out soon and you've been able to "purchase" it before everyone else, or what? Since i currently only see that they offer 3 as most. Windows, ZoneAlarm or Comodo firewall.- Gluttons Unite!
Ziti (based on how i usually do it) Cook some pasta (not spaghetti) and throw some meatballs (10-15 roughly) (or falafel, or none at all) into the pan. ½ - 1 garlic, chop into small squares. 10-20 olives (preferably without seeds), green or black. ½ of a chive, chopped into small pieces. Take out a bowl, pour mashed-tomatoes and half a bottle of pasta-sauce into it and mix all the ingredients around+a bit of salt and pepper. Pour it into an oven-safe "bowl" (dunno proper english word for "ugnssäker form"), (if you can afford) top the surface with Parmesan (otherwise just a strong cheese). Put it into the oven with some foil covering it for about 30-45min on 175-200C. Serve with some basil on top. Enjoy!- Feb 9 2009: The Future of Runescape
Bwahaha, same age as me and CEO. Hm, seems interesting. But i would still like to see that they focus on customer support which has vanished!- What movie(s) did you last see?
The Dark Knight: I managed to see an hour before i turned it off. The Bank Job: Good movie! A bit slow in the beginning maybe, but i liked it. Transporter (1,2,3): 1 and 2 were pretty good but the third one was quite crappy. Rock'n'Rolla: Good movie, perhaps a bit slow and hard to understand in the beginning, but good nevertheless. Wall-E: I seldom watch computer-animated movies, but this one was good i must say. Quite fun! Death Race: Quite crappy, but i saw the whole thing. Quantum of Solace: Was ok, not bad but not good either. Where are all the classic ingredients?! You Don't Mess With The Zohan: Was really fun to watch! - What are you listening to right now!?
