Questionable Items in Your Possession
Lol, a wodden one. I'm not intending to walk around with it, just in case someone breaks in to my house to hit them on the leg or something. But i don't understand this "homemade abortion" stuff? Eh anyways, gonna buy some clothes and maybe a switch tomorrow.

Questionable Items in Your Possession

Psystar v. Apple
I would be happy if they made it legal to use it on another computer than a Mac, but it won't happen. Atleast not in the next 10 years, as they would probably not sell much hardware then. And if such a case would occur, that they released it for all, and you wouldn't be able to use AMD. Then, i would be pissed off as hell and not use it.

RuneScape HD
That gpu is your problem. It's not meant for games, probably old RS and Sim City 3000 is playable, but not the new RS. And since you're on a laptop you can't change it either, sorry.

Psystar v. Apple
Old news. Also, edit in a link for those who don't know this case. I hope Apple wins, there's too much stealing and copying between companies. Apple clearly states in their EULA that you are not allowed to use OSX in anything but a Mac.

Build The Cheapest Gaming Computer - Fun Topic
Well, some things work with it. I only tried it briefly a year ago. I got XP licenses here, but i guess that wouldn't be the "spirit" of this topic? Using an OS you already got?

Your favorite runescape memory.
In 2002 or 3, i had just lost my full rune set and i didn't have any money to buy a new one (think i lost it at pking or a monster), and a friend that i then, had only known for a month... I asked him politely if i could borrow a set from him and he said "yes"... Was really nice, since it was more money for it compared to now and the fact that i'd only recently added that dude to my friends list. Which signaled "trust". I mined a crapload of coal and paid him back in 2 days lol.

RAM question
I don't know why they are more expensiver, but i do see alot of people using memories from Corsair in overclocking forums. Check if you can find a review about them both. But both are good brands, so whichever you choose it will be good. 1; The heatsink will be much better for overclocking. It's up to you if you feel it's worth the price. 2; Since you have an E4500 (hello, it's overclocks nice, doesn't it?), PC8500 memories won't be needed. PC6400 will be perfect, they are (good brand) easily overclocked. 3; If you feel it's worth the extra money for lower latencies, go for it. I would rather spend money on lower latencie-memories than 1066mhz ones, especially since it 1066 ones won't be needed for you cpu. Just check that your mobo can tollerate the voltage from them.

Any of their albums basically. My favorites are: Still Life, My Arms/Your Hearse, Blackwater Park and Damnation. I don't like Watershed at all except Bridge of Sighs.

My next computer?
I wouldn't spend 300$ on a 500mhz faster cpu, 1mb more cache and a little bit faster bus. The T6600 is another option (2.2ghz - 100$), but really not worth spending 300$ on the P8700... You can get the i7 920 for that lol. Also remember the hd is only 5400rpm. But it's all up to you what you want.

My next computer?
The one for 900$ will be able to play games without any problems! I would do the following changes to it: Change to 64bit Vista (costs nada). Cpu from the Pentium duo to C2D T6400 (+50$). Take 4gb of ram (+50$). Which makes a total of 1000$. If you don't want to spend 50$ on the C2D, it would still be pretty ok. But really, 4gb ram is usefull. The one for 780$ will not run games.

Steam
So, is this a desktop pc or a laptop?... What's your budget for it? (and please, what's the specs of your psu, and if you got a pci-e connector or molex available and brand) Before i explain how-to (it's fairly simple), do you want to install it yourself (or if you know a friend or a relative who can do it) or a shop to do it for you. Because i don't want you returning back and saying that it all went to hell. Could you also download cpu-z (http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php), open up, mainboard, graphics interface and tell me what link width it says. Edit: Hmm, second thought... I think it's better for you if you take it to a local computer store and get it done.
