People like Harry Potter because it's a fun and original story that combines fantasy elements in a way that's never been done before, and in a world that readers can actually relate to. JK Rowling is a good writer when it comes to creating a magical world and believable and likeable characters. The prose is not outstanding, in fact it's not even particularly great. But it doesn't need to be; the writing is solid and serves its purpose as a way to tell the story that everyone loves. And I've never really seen the prose style affect anyone's liking of a book unless they are particularly well-read or have an interest in writing themselves. Take Inheritance as an example. Did you forget to finish the sentence?I'm taking Inheritance as an example,but for what? So I take I'm particularly well-read and have an interest in writing...Because I really got pissed off at her style.Its very little plot,more day-to-day things.If I wanted that,I'd read a damn diary!Really,it got worse after Azkaban (Goblet onwards,really disliked) and the final nail for the coffin was the last half of Hallows.It was just a bit stupid that after 7 books coincidentally you realise the cloak is a (Hallow?).No mention about how long cloaks last till then.At all. When I read the parts where the wand and the stone were found it sounded a little rushed for me.I think it was after Fenrir?Yeah rushed rushed rushed.

Could you guys put Season 3 spoilers in hide tags?I haven't had a chance to watch those yet (Except the beach,thought that would be "hot" =P) so please...I missed the first two episodes,which defeats the purpose of watching,so I'm waiting for the next airing #-o

Also,Windex,I'd suggest the poisoned effect be put on one with full health,since it reduces constitution.I think the continued loss of health is bleeding,though.

I live in a condominium,so no real fun there.When I was younger I used to play a lot,though.We were playing tag,and there were no borders,except it had to be within the condo.We constantly jumped flights of stairs and from the 3rd storey-2nd storey as a short cut. And I ate grass to see why cows like it so much.
